If they choose to pay me in Cryptocurrency or fiat, I will never accept fiat but if I must choose crypto, it must meet my requirements.
  • It must be during bear market, so that I can hold them, if they are paid in crypto at all time high, there is likely high chance of loosing much value.
  • If the above options isn't favorable, I will go with USDT because holding is also an hedge against inflation in my darling country who keep devaluing its local currency with stupid policies.

Nope there's no way you can meet that condition since there's no employer will ask about in which way would ypu want to pay simce its so hassle to pay up your workers in different forms so if your employer will decide to pay you in cryptocurrency then provably you will get the same amount om your daily wages, just make sure that your opted to get your salary im USD value so that you can get the same figures whatever market conditiom happened when you receive it.

What if your requirements don't happen? It was so ridiculous, where an employee tried to make his boss work hard for his subordinates. The company will only pay its employees when it is due. No matter the currency rate, they have to pay their debts as quickly as possible. In addition to keeping the employee's economy in good shape, this will also have a good impact on the related company.
Employees certainly don't want to be late in receiving their paychecks, even if it's using cryptocurrency. Because someone's management has been determined and planned by the family so that employees can survive.

I do get paid in crypto and I rather not get paid in fiat, doesn't make sense to me. Don't get me wrong, if I lost my job because of something (and I hope to continue to do this for decades) then I may end up with a job where I am getting paid in fiat, that is understandable and that's fine, I am not "against" working for fiat, after all it is just one click, you can turn your crypto to fiat or vice versa very easily in this day and age so it is not really a big deal.

However working for crypto has a different situation, it means most probably you are at home doing something a lot higher tech then anyone you know, and that is why I prefer this world a lot more. I am trying to find a niche that I can carve a space for myself in the future, not going to do it now, I tried twice already in my life and one of them was great and made money for a whole year, the other was recent and I lost all my savings but it is fine, that is how you take risks and one day I hope that it will work out.

Bitwage is a platform that converts wages into cryptocurrency. Bitwage founder Jonathan Chester said: “A lot of people now want to earn part or all of their wages through Bitcoin.” The company has made contributions in the United States, Europe, Latin America and Asia this year. 20,000 employees. Some users processed $30 million in salaries, including employees from Google, Facebook, General Electric, Philips, the United Nations, and the U.S. Navy. Many of these employees have signed up for this service themselves.

Chester stated that he converts 15% of his monthly salary into virtual currency, which is "a way to not worry about whether to buy or accumulate bitcoin or cryptocurrency at the right time."

Many companies are also considering allowing their employees to choose to receive partial or full compensation in the form of cryptocurrency. If you can get paid through cryptocurrency, which one would you choose? If the boss pays in Bitcoin, would you want it? Or you continue to prefer to pay in fiat currency to facilitate the purchase of tokens you like.
Do you think cryptocurrency payment will be a new trend in the future?

If the certain company I am working with has the ability to pay me in cryptocurrency, I would still like it to be in fiat. Don't get me wrong, I know that bitcoin has already withstood the test of time, hence, I am confident in bitcoin's potential. However, being compensated in cryptocurrency form has its advantages and disadvantages. For example, your salary is $500 every 15 days and the bitcoin's price is at its peak value then, your company will buy 500 dollars worth of bitcoin in its high position - a lesser amount of bitcoin for you. But if you'll opt to receive fiat instead, you can keep all the 500 dollars to yourself and wait for the dip of bitcoin's price. That way you can buy more bitcoin with the money you have at hand.

You see, there will be discrepancies in wages paid by the company based on the price of the coin you will pick as your compensation. You can either benefit from it or be at the losing end. It just depends on the status of the market - bearish or bullish. That is why I still prefer to be paid in physical money then I will be the one to determine how much and when should I invest it.

Cryptocurrency payment would definitely be one of the new trends in the future. Right now, there are already several countries and establishments that are accepting cryptocurrencies as payment for transactions. In no time, many brands and countries will adopt the movement too. It will be nicer because people will have more choices and options to pick from.

I prefer to accept Bitcoin, and I can earn more profits by holding cryptocurrency. But in the area where I live, Bitcoin is not yet accepted, and I have to accept some fiat currencies.
Now I will choose to hold half of the cryptocurrency and half of the legal currency. Fiat currency is used to make daily payments to meet the needs of life. Part of the bitcoin invested can also obtain additional benefits as the price rises, reducing the risk of loss when the price falls.

In the ideal situation, I would like to get paid 50% in crypto and the other 50% in Fiat currency. Reason is because I need cash to pay for the necessities that I need in my daily life.
Paying for food, rent, and other essentials. With my other 50% of crypto, I would begin to start storing away my wealth, so that in the future I'm able to secure financial freedom.

Same here. I need to pay for my rent in physical cash. So in case I receive the amount in cryptocurrency, then I need to convert it to fiat cash and then go to an ATM to withdraw it. But nowadays it is easy to use cryptocurrency to pay for utility bills and shopping. Even in supermarkets, it is possible to pay using cryptocurrency, although in an indirect manner. First you need to convert your coins to gift cards, and then use these gift cards to make payments for supermarkets, electricity bills, online food delivery.etc.

Crypto is the process and the main goal, also for fiat money, choosing crypto and fiat as a guarantee for employee salaries, for me it's the same, if you accept fiat you can buy crypto and vice versa.

What is clear if you receive a salary with crypto / Bitcoin a few cents of your Bitcoin can be lost when you sell / discount gas, if you receive your fiat cash intact there is no deduction, if I personally prefer fiat for my salary over Bitcoin.
If you accept payment of salary with Bitcoin, it doesn't take into account other risks, misdelivery, hack etc.

At this time I will still choose fiat because it is widely used for many things, unless the company only provides crypto as a salary, and I think more will still choose fiat because it common to used

Do you think cryptocurrency payment will be a new trend in the future?
Now it's shown like that, but it's still very limited, can't be used as payment in many things that generally can use fiat.

If the employer uses Bitcoin as a reward, I would be happy to see such a thing, and I am willing to accept it.
But if it is other value currency, I might choose half of the encrypted currency and half of the legal currency, and the half of the legal currency is because it is more convenient to use legal currency in daily life.
In the future, I think the use of cryptocurrency should be a very daily thing, because now some countries have frequently used cryptocurrency for transaction payment, and it is very convenient and fast to use cryptocurrency to pay.

I will still choose to be paid in cryptocurrency. Right now, we have local wallets that can already convert cryptocurrency into fiat money and their are already online stores that are accepting crypto payments, if not crypto payments online fiat transactions are already popular in our country.

With this situation that our country is still in a state of pandemic, digital transactions are more convenience and useful.

It depends on whether crypto is legal or not for the government I guess, if it is more well-accepted, it can certainly happen. But it does not rule out the possibility that it will definitely happen in the future, yes I think bitcoin can be a payment medium, it's just that maybe it will be more stable on the price movement in the future, if in general bitcoin had been used as payment.

I wouldn't favor if all of the salary was paid in Bitcoin, as due to volatility and high fees that's not always a good option. However, a choice would be nice. For instance, I wouldn't mind receiving something around 10-15% of the salary, like in Chester's case, in cryptocurrency, that wouldn't be too critical, but, at the same time, could be very convenient.

However, I don't think it's something people would be interested in countries with good economy and life quality, because buying crypto there isn't a problem and something affordable for every person. On the other hand, this could be a life saver for people in countries with high inflation rate, like Venezuela. The only problem is that in such countries the government would most likely prohibit such forms of payments.

~ If you can get paid through cryptocurrency, which one would you choose?
I would probably prefer to be paid in fiat in full because I'm already familiar with how to trade/convert to crypto at anytime. I mean I can buy more BTC if I do it on my own rather than through a payment processor that takes a higher service fee than my usual exchange.

I would do the same. Because if you will let the company buy btc on behalf of you, there will be charges from somewhere and you may end up receiving btc which is not the rate of the current market. So I'll just prefer to be paid in fiat and I will do my own trading of crypto. Maybe, this will be convenient, receiving btc directly for those new crypto users. So they don't to worry about the trading part. However, along the way, they will also learn once they received btc because that's the only way to understand this market, make your own trade.

If my company gave me the option to start being paid out in cryptocurrency, unless it was bitconnect then I would opt for fiat money.  Just Kidding, but on a serious note, I would likely accept maybe ten to fifteen percent of my salary paid out in bitcoin.  Unfortunately at the moment I just have too many bill that have to be paid but can't be paid in bitcoin, otherwise I would take a higher percentage.

If I had the chance to be paid in whatever currency I like I would choose 50% fiat and 50% crypto currencies. If the  companies already pays crypto we co an save some fees. Unfortunately I am still repaying a student loan in fiat money, so for the foreseeable future I still need some fiat income.
For me, maybe i will prefer 30% from bitcoin and 70% from fiat. I have to buy most of my basic needs in fiat so i should never ran out of cash. With my little portion in bitcoin, it will serve as my investment so that i will have more chances to earn more too when bitcoin price starts to surge again with its new ATH.

But when time comes that bitcoin will be already accepted worldwide, then i will be very glad to accept all my salaries paid in bitcoin. I will have no worries by that time because bitcoin's volatility might not be an issue by then.

I used to work remotely at a crypto company ( defi exchange ) . and they still pay flat . and for a bonus they also give in the form of crypto. I think the mix between flat and crypto is the best choice. and this depends on the type of payment for what and from what. but if they want pay their worker to be fully crypto / flat or mixed I can still accept and be happy with it but not everyone have the same thoughts as me about paying with crypto. because there are other things such as transaction fees that are still high which is another consideration.

You know what grinds my gears about capitalists? This dude created something that is basically a way to make your salary into crypto, you literally turn your salary into bitcoins thanks to something he founded and his company. What does he keep on saying afterwards? He turns 15% of his salary into crypto. I do not mind, there are billions that do not get any crypto at all, there are still billions that never owned a single satoshi, not even from a faucet, so it is understandable if you just want fiat, there is nothing wrong with that.

However if you are founder of a company that turns salaries into crypto and still end up not turning your salary into crypto that is basically proof that capitalists would do anything to make money, even things that they themselves would not want to use, it is like saying you manufacture guns but never owned one.

Bitcoin is volatile, so, I would still choose to receive my salary through fiat currency so that I can decide if how much I just want to buy bitcoin if ever. Also, bitcoin is not yet fully accepted as payment method directly in many stores and companies. So, it is still good to have a salary in fiat currency because I can use it easily, no need conversion like in bitcoin.

Bitcoin = Financial freedom
I would like to take bitcoin as my salary if I am going to a job but actually I am not a person who is interested in earning salary, I am always trying to deal with profits and loss because that is how we can grt the financial stability and one thing the salary is a slave trap which is not going to increase your life style.
