If I had $50 and don't know where to invest in, first of all $50 is just a little amount, so I guess it is ok to loose in case the coins doesn't go well. I would invest in so called penny stocks. Or should I say those coins which values are just pennies, I would not buy different coins as it would lessen my purchasing power rather I would buy only on one coin and concentrate on that, Focusing on one coin would mean more coins, more coins will yield more profit once the value of the grows to something exponential wherein you gain more profits for the $50 investment. In case the coin does not do any good sell it and atleast get the half of the $50 so your not totally lost.

I'd probably buy XRP with that $50 usd. Many people say it is overvalued even at current price but I have a feeling that it'll go higher in a short period. But If I don't move for XRP then I'd probably buy $50 worth of BTC and sleep on it!

I am sorry but I think $50 is almost nothing. Don't think about it too much and try to make some fast-trading with low-price coins or just buy eth or btc, and wait.
If i have 50$ i invest my money to Dogecoin. Because i think dogecoin have stable price. And i believe if dogecoin value can going up to 100 satoshi or more. It just my opinion

This is what I am going to do if I had 50 USD. I will search coins that costs 1 dollar and below and I will buy 50 USD for that and wait for it to become 1 USD and now I can take profits. Usually the wait is 6 months and up tho.
I will give you the same advice I got from my mentor on how to invest event 1$ dollar!

I would follow the market and find a promising coin for long term investment, for example Ripple or NEO
50$ is little amount for longterm when you invest in crypto, if you just have 50$ the best you invest in ripple, doge, lite, or ethereum, then you doing daily traders this best way to earn profit, or you join ICO, but you must research ICO before you invest

I think it's a small value, so I advise you to invest in a project that really already has proof of profit, doing research is the best way for this 
50 dollars is too less to invest in some token or ico. go join airdrops and bounties. i promise you get lot bigger than 50 box invest . and never sell your bounty or airdrop tokens in a rush wait till increase
I think that it is not too small amount to invest in ICOs, if there price will rise, than you can reinvest in other coins with the gained profit. It will be good for beginner.
if i had $50 i will go for tron. because tron is a good coin, and top of that the price is still and reasonable. but i believe that tron's price will climb up soon. but it also depends on your tradng strategy.
50 bucks is a joke to invest. A retard can make money with $50 bucks in this industry. You will not make life changing income. Your better off putting it into a stick with a pick at the end and using that stick to pick up aluminum cans then sell those cans for more money then invest.;
Well, I think this all depends on the timespan and the risk OP is willing to take. I have made several 50 bucks investments beginning 2017, and guess what, a lot of those 50 bucks turned to 2-3 thousand bucks by now and I still keep holding those. If you are going to put in only $50, I would just put them in and forget about the coins for the years to come.
Indeed, $ 50 is not a sum for investment. If you know how to trade on the exchange, then you can increase this amount a little, trading at the crypto exchange and then the amount already received to invest. Either buy an inexpensive promising coin (for example IOTA) on this money and forget about it for a year at least.
