For rich people they just do it for fun and don't care on their losses. Proper control on bankroll and self discipline won't destroy your life.

Youre right that in gambling you cant be rich so you can control your self to dont bet but other people cant because they addicted in gambling. I think rich people gamble more for fun, but the fact is they gamble in huge amount, as even if they loose they don't care about it as it will not make any difference to their financial status.
