for me to play gambling is a hobby. if we had considered it Ssebagai hobby then we will continue to play gambling. whatever happens, even when I've become a very rich man. I will stay play gambling until whenever !!

This is one of the good views to gambling -  you only play it for fun and you will never be concerned if you are winning or losing. Gambling is good to unwind and spent some weekend hours to gamble online or every weekend to play just for fun and get together with friends and relatives. Gambling is indeed a fun play.

I agree, gambling is not a way to earn stable profit or momey. Gambling is made only to entertain someone to lessen his/her boredom. But the fact that money is involved in terms of gambling makes people get addicted to it and not treat it only for fun but as a way of getting money or even getting rich fast.

therefore, you should be able to control yourself from gambling, so you keep playing without addiction and just for fun.
because when addiction will be more difficult to control yourself.
Addiction will always make you lose in gambling, that is our weaknesses in gambling once you are infected with that, infected is my term because I considered that as virus that will ruin your way of thinking and you will not be able to follow your game plan.

i don't know, maybe a little if get bored with something that usually i do everyday,  Grin
oh wow thats a lot to be honest, i think i wouldnt play then because i would already have enough money and there wouldnt be a need to do that

I presumed that you are gambling for profit because the way you say it speaks for itself - you won't play already because you already have enough money. Otherwise, if you still play even if you are rich already, then you are just playing games for entertainment and not for profit which we should always remember also that gambling is just for fun!

Yes I would, but maybe what I'm doing is not what is called gambling in general. If you google the word "gambling" you will find this definition: "Gambling is the wagering of money or something of value on an event with an uncertain outcome with the primary intent of winning additional money and/or material goods." But I have no intent of winning additional money, I mean any significant amount which you may call "additional money". The amounts I gamble with may give me in case of winning 5-6 USD max, so it won't change my life in any way. The good side of this approach is you won't lose much either, that's why I persistently recommend this approach to everyone.

We also add to the equation the fun we feel while betting. It should be the main goal - entertainment and if it isn't fun any longer, then better stop at once. However, if we want to play like a pro gambler, then we should not play for fun nor for rage - it should be playing with pre-planned bets without emotions.
Exactly, that is when you are main focus on the profit because when you are in the business, emotion will not be considered as that is the sign of weaknesses, the only thing you will follow is the game plan and you stick with it no matter what happen in the session.

A lot of people here gamble to become rich, but some do it for fun.

The question is, if you wake up tomorrow with 50 million dollars, would you still gamble for fun, or would you forget about gambling and do other stuff? Personally I think I would still gamble. I do it now, and I know I realistically will never get rich off gambling, because I barely do it and I don't risk much money, just for fun sometimes, to test my luck.
So if I had a lot of money, I would do bigger gambles, but they would still enter in the "for fun" amount (for the new 50 million standard). For example, gambling 1K a month would be irrelevant, and winning with a 1K bet can give you big rewards if you are lucky. It would still be fun, in fact more fun, and it would be as non risky as it is now, in terms of going financially bankrupt.

I think I would still gamble for fun. If I won then that's good and if I lose, that is okay as well because I only do it for fun and when I gamble, I already fulfilled my purpose. As long as the amount I gamble is insignificant compared to my total funds then it would be okay. Maybe I would gamble because some of the people I would meet in casinos have businesses and would be my potential business partners so its a bonus as well having connections to different people.

Wow! I love this reason why we gamble. Gambling to casinos to network with equally financially successful people is good, definitely good. Now, here is the thing: when your reason to gamble in casino to earn decent amount of money, most of the time you will be discouraged; however, if your purpose is to network prospects, then whether or not you win, doesn't matter at all Smiley

I like to gamble i feel excited if i play the game i like, and i feel excited if i can earn some profit from gambling, i think if i am a rich person i wont stop gambling, i think i will bet bigger because the bigger the amount the more adrenaline rush for my body, but i wont go bet blindly and jeopardize all of my wealth for gambling, maybe i will spend 1% of my wealth to enjoy gambling

I think I was still playing even if I was rich. I play for fun and my basic motive is not to make money to get rich. I enjoy each bet I place. Sports games are like passion for me I just transform this passion to make some money if there is chance. I don't feel need to place on everything. So I was gambling doesn't matter what financial situation I was having.

Gambling is really designed for entertainment and if you want to make this as a living then, you must have the system and discipline in place otherwise, you will surely encounter several losses and may mess your peaceful life. If you are only playing for fun and spend money that you can afford to lose, then status in life doesn't matter at all.

haha Playing gambling just to loose money ! No i do prefer to have fun. Yeah you are right  you've encounter a lot of losses but sooner or later you win but just have a discipline on your self to not to be greedy because it can cause you a lot of trouble.

If you were rich, i'm sure you will okay even you gambling just to lose money. Because you have much money and don't care about it. Gambling for fun also be your priorities than for profit.

Some very rich people still managed to lose all their money on gambling, just because their huge level of addiction to it. Even rich people should be careful with their spending, anything can happen.

Managing proper bankroll in a discipline manner doesn't matter whether the person concern is rich or poor. Thus, it is essential to learn these things first before betting regardless of your current financial status. Gambling is a game of luck and your goal is not just to win, you need to find ways to make yourself luckier.

yes managing a bankroll is very important, but gambling can not compromise. you might always lose. so has a bigger bankroll, easier to manage a bankroll when they lose.

Correct. Having big bankroll is very ideal because if you have small amount of bankroll and dividing them into several sessions, then you are makng your bankroll very thin and if ever you will win some profits, it will not be significant and will become more boring - once you get bored, you tend to go outside your sessions plan and bet big amounts and before you know it, you are already done - all your bankroll are gone. That is why, discipline is very important - you must follow your system no matter how much the bankroll would be.
Big bankroll can help you to get a bigger chance to win because you will not easily loss patience when you are having a cold streak, so if we are serious with our goal to make money that is the first step to do, but for the rich I d not think they will experiment for that as all they want is just to be entertain.
