A Bitcoiner chooses. A slave obeys.
Not only is this guy, Zarfund, a complete troll who deletes posts randomly, he is also a scammer who tried to scam people out of their money. At some point we need to set bans on scammers like him. Not just bans but IP bans. They might do nothing for someone with a VPN but it will clean up some of the trash thats scamming around on this forum. At some point leaving negative trust feedback really does nothing. And newbies still read his topics without understanding the kind of person he is.

If not a ban, could we at least get global ignores for all user-posts or a mechanism for denying users with a certain amount of negative trust the freedom to create topics?

I noticed that I commented on some of his threads, and at first I was a bit hesitant because in the self-moderated threads, they can delete your post without having to give any explanation, but I didn't have them deleted.

I had this thread moderated no worry I will not delete posts as long as it is within the topic, I had it moderated to keep him out on this topic
You do not have to keep him out of this topic, let him also have free speech if he has anything good to talk about the reason he deleted your post. But I do not think he would have any good reason too though, but making this kind of topic to be moderated by a moderator is better.

I share Oshosondy's view. Let him say something if he wants to. Although seeing how unreliable he is and what he has done of deleting posts arbitrarily or because of some mania he has, I think it's better to ignore him and not comment on his threads.

I think everyone should avoid any self moderated by unknown newbies in the future since he's just a troll.

This is some of his topic:
1. https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.60675159  (22 posts by 19+ users deleted.)
2. https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.60685497  (46 posts by 37+ users deleted.)
3. https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.60690320  (17 posts by 17+ users deleted.)

I mean his post isn't even a high quality post, he just create a two liner short sentence lol. I wonder what kind of replies he expect since it's just a common discussion that doesn't have a correct or wrong answer.

Since he have an active flag, I think it can make anyone to think twice to post in his topic.

He deleted two of my posts in two different threads that he made, but it's okay for me.
Maybe he did that self-moderated thread for that reason so that if he doesn't like the opinion of other people he could just instantly delete it.
It looks like he didn't like a lot of it.  Cheesy What happened was he locked that thread and then deleted it one by one.

Thanks for the warning though, I won't be sharing any of my opinions in his self-moderated threads. Maybe if he comes up with a normal one then I might try one more time.

Deleting a post without giving any reason is not a good practice because it could even affect the morale of the member negatively. But he/she should be given a fair hearing because he might have his reason for his actions. He needs to be corrected by the members of the forum if his intentions are not genuine. Please sir, give him the opportunity to air his views.

This guyZarfund  had 2 or three moderated threads on this section I'm sure my post that he deleted was within the topic I seldom get my topic deleted this guy deleted my post on his moderated threads  I'm ok with it but upon checking on his trust rating because it's showing red I'm surprised to see there are tags from two posters that I think are good posters, he systematically deletes posts, I think its an act of revenge for those who give him red tag or supported the tag I don't know how many of us here get their posts deleted their posts even though they are within the topic
Thanks for letting me know, at least members who are active in gambling discussions avoid the threads created by that account. For me this is quite important because without you telling us, we will be a little confused if the post is deleted while the post is of sufficient quality. Moderating his thread to delete comments of people he doesn't like is not a great way. It doesn't matter if it's not in the reputation section, because not everyone who is active in gambling discussions always gets into the reputation section. Since it's about gambling and the thread he created in a dedicated section, it would be helpful to see this warning.
