The current condition of Bitcoin indicates that it is much deeper than its maximum price. So this is the right time to buy. Moreover, the holders have already built their portfolios during this period. We also see that Blue Whales have started buying from the dip. So if you want to hold Bitcoin for a long time then it can be a golden opportunity.

Am still suprise when I see that people are still scared to buy bitcoin now, most of them keep on saying bitcoin will still dump more, but  I know is hard to catch the bottom, just buy when the price is low, even if their is more dip just hold the only thing that will change is the price but the amount of bitcoin you are holding will not change. If you are having one bitcoin it will continue to be one bitcoin even if the price drop so to me bitcoin price is very low now and we can start buying now.

Always Act Smart and Play Safe With Your Funds
The market has been stationed at a particular point currently and i don't think if there would be any bull soon. Those who were here early 2017 really understand the market more better and i believe only the new comer's who rebelled about the market.

I guess this is a act of boosting his accounts maybe for a  particular interest, but it is very disappointing seeing that copy and paste without any experience is bad. OP needs to be properly oriented to know how to create his post, He/she should visit the Beginner and help section for some clarifications. I think he is less than a year here so how did he gets to know about all this without being fully involved.

Obviously, the OP is confused in his conclusions. He talks about two cryptocurrencies at the same time, but he has probably experienced only one.
Just read the quote from the article that the OP classically paraphrased. Immediately comes the understanding that a beginner who gives advice does not always understand what he is writing about. Smiley

Take Bitcoin as a long term investment and just forget it like it’s in a long-term investment account. Don’t let your emotions get too much into it else you might make the wrong decision and sell at the wrong time. No matter if crypto is going up or down, the best thing you can do is to not look at it. That’s exactly what I do especially now that it’s dipping, I don’t want to stress over it because I believe if I hold and wait patiently Bitcoin is going to rise again.

I think investing in bitcoin is very easy and safe compared to others, even if you don't have good analytical skills and anything related to bitcoin movement you can still get good profit.
just buy when it goes down and hold on to sell it back when the price has gone up as you wish, and all you need is strong and consistent patience when the bitcoin price tends to go down don't sell it because of emotion and it will happen better take advantage of the decline to buy continuously every time it declines happen and stay focused on the long term or leave the market and return after hearing good news or a price increase.
and I think most people do that, except trading and it really takes analysis and other stuff and also does it full time to do it.
and what the OP mentioned is great, and besides bitcoin, ethereum is a good choice going forward.

Dont be a ShitcoInfluencer for quick bux, it sucks
I am not so sure about the altcoins though, their track record is bad and although the top 10 will survive a bear market, how their long term value unfolds is not worth speculating on.

But for bitcoin, one can say with certainty that the future price will be bullish and this bear trend is already seeing a reversal because of the constant movements happening at 20k USD range. We might see a break from these movements towards one direction, whatever it might be, we can handle it like a pro trader if we know how to approach the market in general.

Obviously newbies will panic during a bear market, but knowing that every dip is a opportunity to buy takes time to sink it and so this is nothing different to the veteran traders.

You own the pen

Just like in the past, bitcoin stayed above $7000 in 2020, but when it dropped to $4000, some people would have panicked and sold their coins, but people that hold saw the price at $65000. Better to hold and not panic to sell.

History will repeat and those who have doubt will miss this big opportunity in front of their eyes. Because we already know how bitcoins act in the past when people sold their BTC and others are causing havoc with their non-sense theories and Bitcoins fire back with a new All-time high. bitcoins price shut them off and zipped their mouth and that will be the same scenario after this bearish market because that's how the bitcoins market flow until it becomes more stable in the future.

I’m thinking about new ATH now. It’s definitely gonna break the previous years ATH because many investors are getting chance to buy at high discounts these days which is now creating pretty good market volume. It’s like building block for the bitcoin. The more we keep buying the more stronger it becomes over the time. Once it reaches certain amount in coming days it will burst out suddenly.

Maybe not ignoring the decline but how we can look for market signals that we think are a good time to enter the market. But if we can see a decline in the market, we can analyze it further to find the time to buy and vice versa. Bitcoin does have a chance to go high and reach a new ATH but we don't know when and as long as the decline occurs, it's a good time to buy bitcoin and hold it until the price goes high and sell it at a high price.
To enter the market, don't just look for signals when you should enter, you must be able to do your own analysis, at least you can basically read the market direction. If we talk about long-term investments, bitcoin does have the potential to go up and reach new ATH for the long term. Investing what you can afford to lose will be very good, But don't put everything in one basket, make a plan for investment so that the investment is safe for the long term.

That is a very good advice, not to be emotional selling rather when market get dip, you buy more bitcoin for a long time holding, which many investors make more profits during dip like these in marketplace not to sell, but rather them buy more. Bitcoin is digital assets that has to do with demand and supply of the market across the nation. checking the history of bitcoin in CMC, it really show that more days goes on, more demand come into the industries to buy, and dip is a good position to buy and hold for a long term.

Yes I completely agree with you.
Instead of treating as an opportunity, many people are fearing and becoming panic.
Due to this they are selling their coins to the petty traders in such a low price.
But to be honest this dip is the best time to buy Bitcoins and hold it for long term.
We have already seen what is Bitcoins capable of , so yes if we buy now and hold for at least 3 months, we will easily get upto 50% return on our investments.
Nevertheless at last it’s people’s choice, how they wanna treat this bear market.

Long term of not, ignoring the dip and market signal as a whole doesn't seem like a good strategy to me. Sure we all know how Bitcoin is for the long term and eventually climb back and hit a new ATH. Though, looking for the best possible price both in the short and long term to reduce the risk is more sensible.

Anyone who does not focus on the long term has everything to lose, given the volatility of Bitcoin (and Ethereum, which the OP mentions as well).

One can make regular purchases and forget about what is happening, which would be a simple strategy, but it is also reasonable at times like these to buy more than usual (if you have liquidity), and take advantage of moments like October-November last year to take profits.

The problem is that at times like this, many people get scared and don't buy because they think it could go down further and when it goes up a lot they don't want to sell either because they think it will go up a lot more and selling at that moment feels like a loss.

You have to have a certain sense of smell and experience.

For those that just got into investing in bitcoin, they can't ignore it easily. They'll keep on checking the price and charts everyday and they can't themselves stopping doing it.

It's normal.

And for us who have experienced the past ATHs and bears, we can easily do it on our own. If you're not going to buy this dip, yes, that's very much effective to just ignore it.

This is the right time to buy more cryptocurrencies especially Bitcoin because the  more people come into the market and increases their demand for it, its value continues to grow rapidly.
That is what many investors have been doing by now, buying on every occasions bitcoin suffers a new crash, including El Salvador. Right now it's a very criticized and blamed strategy, but on long term it will be seen as a smart one, once bitcoin recovers again.

Just be careful when advising other people financially, because there is a high chance they misunderstood how the market works and might end accusing you for having their investments in a negative status. I've seen it happening often during this recent bear market.

What you are doing is a good strategy because you can take advantage of the market's situation and conditions to benefit you. Not many people can be as patient as you in waiting for the market to go back up because they can panic and sell it as quickly as possible. But be careful if you want to buy altcoins because the price of altcoins can drop deeper and make you have to hold on to the altcoin for a long time. But for altcoins that have the potential to go up high, it can still be recommended but still be careful because we don't know what will happen in the future.

Smiley You may have had success with ETH, but how do you believe it with BTC? Although I am a huge beneficiary in this market as a means to buy other altcoins, it is fair to say that we are benefiting from those who are losing money. And it's like a war, so the winners will see an opportunity in the future that they take for themselves, so it's not for all losers or winners.

Bitcoin has much better price performance compared to Ethereum! I think he will make more profit if he invest on Bitcoin in early days rather than Ethereum because is the best performing cryptocurrency so far so if he made that profit in Ethereum then he can surely make huge profit on Bitcoin without a doubt. Ethereum will not reach 4K level if Bitcoin didn't pump to 65K. Investors is just looking for other investment opportunity after they finish trading on Bitcoin which is the reason why Eth and other altcoins pump.

BTC, a coin of today and tomorrow.
Great advice but not everyone can ignore the dip. Especially newbies. Not everyone can invest for the long term. Some folks actually have a short - medium term investment goal in mind. And when the market doesn't go as they had planned they pull out irrespective of whether there's a dip or not. I recently spoke to a friend who did this. She pull what's left of her investment out. She said half a loaf is better than none. The summary is simple - just like someone said do not invest what you cannot afford to hodl.

The advice in OP is so great and understandable, even though he superimposed bitcoin and Ethereum in a particular topic, his points are still understandable.
The issue of not ignoring your portfolio is not only for newbies. Old investors will also not ignore their portfolio when they invest more than what they can lose.
So it is when someone don't have investment plans that they keep their mind in their portfolio when the market is going wrong. I started in this cryptocurrency with trading and immediately I enter a particular trade my mind won't be at rest, so I had to stop trading because of my wellbeing.

This does not apply to altcoins because 99% of them are going to zero sooner or later, but for bitcoin -70% from ATH is actually a great place to start DCA. Maybe even buy a big long term bag. But the main question that market is trying to figure out right now is how will bitcoin act during global recession that we are about to see. Bitcoin was never in this situation. That's why I strongly advice to not go balls dip into bitcoin right now because risk are inestimable.

The simple fact is the biggest money managers and wealthy  accounts under management are currently moving money out of high risk assets. The recent collapse means they have lost a lot of faith in the system and it can take a long time to regain. There is an upcoming fuel crisis in the world and bitcoin is somewhat wasteful when it comes to energy usage. People with money are converting to cash with the hope they can make big bucks in the coming recession by buying near the bottom. It was also very cheap to borrow money until the last year which flooded the market with easy money, as interest rates go up that is vanishing.
