Hi fellas, I'm a noob in this forum, actually not really a noob, I've been looking at this forum for 3 months before deciding to create an account, there's a lot I've read, but I think I still need a lot advices from old users, what should I do now?

Welcome to the forum

The first advice I give you is to look at two important elements:

1. Familiarity with the field of blockchain technology in general, and I advise you to start with Bitcoin. It is important to realize that you must learn about the Bitcoin Ecosystem independently of any central services.
This will not require you to do more than follow the huge documentation about Bitcoin that you will find here on the forum and which you can search by using the “search” feature. The search process can be done on Google, with the exception that you must always check the sources before taking this or that information as granted.

2. Learn about the operating rules of this forum, including the publishing rules and general behavioral rules. Here in the Beginners section we have detailed pinned topics that can help you.

Since you have known and understood about it for three months before coming to the forum, I hope you have many good ideas about the forum because you have taken help from your friends. If your friends know and understand the forum well, they must have guided you somehow. If they guide you in learning about the forum, you should realize it better than other newbies.
Since you are in the forum, you better read the posts of others, how the questioners answered the questions, and how the answerers answered them. Then, if you can give a good answer, you will.

Take the time to familiarize yourself with all the topics in the forum. As you do, you'll become more knowledgeable. This journey of learning and discovery will make you an active and engaged member of the forum.

If you were actually serious, within that three months of your stay here, you must have observed a lot of things enough to ensure you do not violate the rules here. You are right, there might still be some things you haven't known yet, do be in a hurry to create posts, earn merits and rank up. Take things slowly, be humble and open to learning even though you must have known some things before creating an account. The forum has alot to offer you and if you feel you didn't learn enough during your 3 months here, you still have another chance to browse through the forum and learn as much as you want.

since you finally created an account, read the links provided by the other members and then try being active in the forum, lurking and just reading through the forum is just fine you'll still learn but engaging, joining the discussion, and asking questions make a lot of difference when it comes to learning in the forum.

You have to know your goal first, and of course that will be your focus to remain present in the forum.
You have read some information for three months as you said, maybe you can say that at this time there is something that interests you from the forum?

There is a lot of information that can be discussed here. It's actually not easy for beginners to follow certain topics. even find it difficult to compose a reply due to lack of knowledge regarding the topic.
If you experience something like that, the solution is to increase your reading. The information on the forum is very rich, you can read and access it for free. reading more will automatically increase your knowledge.

Are you new to the forum or to Bitcoin in general?
If it's the former, I suggest you start reading up on Bitcoin using sources like learn me a bitcoin or Jameson Lopp's Bitcoin guides.
If you already know about Bitcoin, find subforums you like by reading the short explanations about what kind of discussions you can find there. Browse the subs that seem interesting to you and jump into the discussions.

Learn thru discussions or suggestions by people. Also don't let yourself to remain like that so you can improve yourself, theirs a lot of tools or information posted in this forum so try to be resourceful and always use the search bar of this forum so that you can easily locate those topic that can help you get learnings. Also there would be a lot of topic that can contribute to your growth and understand certain situation so spend some effort and don't act like other newbie who always rely on spoon feeding since there's nothing will happen with you in that case.

You are the one who can help yourself so research is always the key towards learnings. Also don't rush all things especially for gaining profits, since those people try to do shortcut most likely will end up on possible losses  so to avoid that start from scratch and always do search for new learnings everyday.

What are the things have you learn? 3 months is pretty long and probably you probably already know the forum rules, where to post on such topic etc. Tell us what you already know so that we can suggest and recommend specific things to avoid repetitive suggestions, tips, etc.

I visited this forum for almost 1 year as a guest before I registered - I'm not saying that you or anyone else should do the same, but if you've been reading posts for 3 months and you still have the need to ask questions like this, the conclusion is that you're not learned almost nothing. My advice is to start reading again, this time try to understand what you read - even if English is not your native language, you can translate each post with the help of an online translator and you will understand some things better.

Hey Deenaxyz, if I were you I will pay extra attention these resources too. And I highly recommend them to every other bitcoin newbie as it caters to their needs and preference in terms of learning style.

Personally, I am more of video learning person and I have watched hundreds of hours of Andreas M. Antonopoulos and I find it totally worth it. It is very beginner friendly and if you are a non-technical person, it is perfect for you. For me, it whets my appetite and increases my interest in reading his books.

I think, you have done the right thing by using three months to read some comments and topics in this community before posting to Beginners & help, which is the best section newbie use to learn so many things that will improve them in the community. If you have never read those links be posted in this thread by some members, I will advice you to do that fast to read all the links and it will definitely add more value to your learning, because many newbie that turned to hero and legendary members red those links that added solid knowledge to them to became whom they are today in this community. Do everything possible to understand all the rules that guide this community if you want to rank up like the way other members are ranking up by following the rules that governed the community, and you will stay long to embrace the benefits that attached to this community.

Learn and HODL. these are the 2 things to do as newbie.
Try to navigate the forum, the sections, the thread. Try to learn as much as possible, since it's like a deep dive into a sea of information.
Enjoy your time it's essential, but if you have enough curiosity you can find what you're achieving for.
Last but not least, HODL your coins. Don't be in a rush for "the profit". This can be wasteful and you can miss bigger opportunities.

Nothing. I mean, just do anything normal you want to do. Everyone starts as noob, you might make mistakes but hopefully, you'll learn from it. Lol, kidding aside. The first thing you need to do is know the forum rules, like others have already said. To summarize: don't ever copy paste posts without giving references or credit. Don't do these things and I think you're safe here on bitcointalk. Don't spam with your referral links,  don't AI generated posts, death threats and begging. Your replies in discussions should be related to the topic. Or else your post might be deleted.

Maybe your next move should be to learn how to earn merits and how it works.

You've been browsing the forum for 3 months already like you said so I assume that you already know where to find information that you need as a new. I don't want to address you as a noob because that's too harsh, but a newbie would be suitable. Smiley Other users here shared some links that will help you learn more. I would suggest watching some documentaries on YouTube as well with regards to Bitcoin. That helped me get a grasp when I was starting, and I believe it will help you as well. Good Luck OP.

Three months and you asked a question that no one can help you because you did not say what you already learned so far in 3 months and what you need more.

The above post has information from two guides with many educative and information resources for your learning. I and others only can help you if you describe more details on what you need.
