Welcome back to the forum.
If your brother will be willing to learn the advantage and disadvantage of bitcoin, it will be a great decision for him to become great in the future. Make such you don't teach him only how to make money from bitcoin which i referred as advantage of bitcoin but you can teach him disadvantage of bitcoin which i referred to the rules and regulations that guide the bitcoin community before teaching him how to use bitcoin to grow family and other businesses in the societies.
Since the price of bitcoin is still dropping, it will be better for you to let your brother know that we are in the season of bearing because the market is not good for anyone to make a good profit. You can show your brother how market price look like so that in future he will not find anything difficult in the market to achieve.

Hello everyone, I am back. Actually, I have been inactive for some time. I had a board exam and I think I missed a lot of things in the crypto forum. And I am so grateful to those people who messaged me on telegram and asked me why I wasn't active. Here I will share the exact reason. And honestly speaking, I missed this forum a lot.

Heres my next plan with bitcoin:

1: I'm going to teach my brother about bitcoin because he's curious about it.And the thing is, he is just 12 years old. And it's a challenge for me to educate him about bitcoin. Let's see how I can setup a lesson for him so that he won't get bored.

2: One of my photographer friends heard about NFTs and is now interested in getting into them, and he wants my help.

3: I'm going to setup a trading desk.

4: Are you thinking about starting a new portfolio?

Since you are here for quite some time before, that means you don't need to have more adjustments as the market is still the same, has risk, and is volatile. The only thing I could say is to work at your desired plan. Have one step at a time. You can't have them done too quickly but for sure, it needs some patients especially when teaching young minds like your brother, and even your friend needs additional time to work as well. Giving some links and books to read online will shorten the process and watching tutorial video helps a lot.

I hope you can be patient educating bitcoin to your brother because at that age it is easy to remember things but there is still a sense of wanting to play and joke so I hope you can understand with that because you will be his inspiration in bitcoin life, and I hope you are successful and inspire many people around

bitcoin returns to the old price, it's still hard to meet the new price. bitcoin experienced a sharp correction from $56k falling to $52 this morning. Let's not compete to invest at a low price, afraid that the opportunity will not meet again at this low price. You can start a new portfolio with a low price portfolio so that the value of your assets is even more.
bitcoin has experienced a drastic correction since reaching ATH which is only one step away from breaking through $70K, but it has not been achieved until now, certainly something out of the ordinary for bitcoin. I agree with you when bitcoin is down as it is today, it's definitely an opportunity to save more because bitcoin will change , with the price achievement going up again. so this opportunity is at least not to be missed because bitcoin will always increase in time.

Bitcoin's performance has continued to decline since reaching the ATH price, now the Bitcoin price has fallen 28% from the ATH price. This is not
exactly what we want to see this December, as many people were previously optimistic that Bitcoin would hit $100k. Now it seems that we have
to think realistically, in fact it is very unlikely that Bitcoin will reach a price of $100k this year. But we also have to look at the positive side of
the current Bitcoin price decline, which opens up opportunities for us to buy Bitcoin at low prices. Because after all Bitcoin will definitely recover soon
and the price can go much higher. So buying Bitcoin now will give we a big profit in the future. If we learn from the history of the Bitcoin movement,
we will understand that Bitcoin can always recover and rise again in price much higher every time it experiences a decline in price. So there is no need
to hesitate to buy Bitcoin, because the future of Bitcoin is indeed very bright.

NFT is not so related to Bitcoin.

Try to read also this news: This 12-year-old coder is set to earn over $400,000 after about 2 months selling NFTs

These young generations are the future, so I am glad to hear that you are willing to teach your sibling and she/he is interested.

Another thing is, I don't think you are late and can tell it. As you heard recently we made new all-time-highs after that huge dumps and pumps in just a short period of time, so be careful of these volatilities, especially if you are planning to trade.

At first welcomed back to bitcointalk community, it's nice to have such mindset to educate younger one for getting acquainted with bitcoin foundation and knowledge, at the beginning of introduction of bitcoin and also the forum, the major objective while is created is circulates the knowledge of bitcoin to people the knowledge is unknown to, i have no Young one to bring on board via bitcoin, but at least i have queue of people who knows bitcoin today through me and I'm excited about it till date, i applaud you for teaching people bitcoin, on my own i think it's good to let children of ten years to know what is cryptocurrency so that they will know the rudiments of bitcoin before they will get to twenty years.

I am interested in your words who want to return to trading, with trading we can sharpen our minds to continue working, but to teach brothers who are immature to trade, I don't think it's time yet. because the first thing is psychological. But if it's just knowledge, I don't think it's a problem

Welcome back. for the first one, I think it's a good thing for your brother. This news might make you even more excited to teach your sibling about this technology.

https://www.cnbc.com/2021/08/31/kid-siblings-earn-thousands-per-month-mining-crypto-like-bitcoin-eth.html
The story you shared is really fascinating but the truth of the issue is that cryptocurrency mining is not meant for individuals that can afford to spend at least $4K to establish a mining rig.

for the new portfolio, I think we have to continue to adjust to these circumstances. Personally, I do that, and if you come back, then you have to adjust to that. however, without a portfolio, you can't focus on growing the coin you're targeting.
I don't encourage people to start a new portfolio now cause all the crypto in the market are at peak price though it is good to examine the coin you wanted to invest in now.

Hello there...

1: I'm going to teach my brother about bitcoin because he's curious about it.And the thing is, he is just 12 years old. And it's a challenge for me to educate him about bitcoin. Let's see how I can setup a lesson for him so that he won't get bored.
Well, this may be little bit difficult moreover in that age, his emotion and also interest on crypto will probably be changing based on mood, curiosity, and also  other factors. But, yeah, this will be  a great challenge. So far, I told my sister that is in 15YO and he is learning trading. It really need patience to tell whatever about crypto, including the risks that will probably face later.
Sometimes, kids are only interested in something worthy and that make money and they may think that it is super easy to do it. No problem, because this can be a motivation tot hem, but tell them the exact true information about the positive and negative sides, never only tell about the promising things from cryptocurrency because kids will be more easily feeling disappointed. Good luck

If your bother is really interested in bitcoin then there is no need to make your explanation fun or approachable either, just explain the facts to him and let him come to his own conclusions about why this technology is going to change the world, however if you can, try to encourage him at the beginning to only invest in bitcoin and leave altcoins alone for some time, as it is going to be very tempting to try to invest in those coins but he is not going to be ready for them due to his inexperience.

I'm probably late, but don't make the common mistake of promoting bitcoin(and cryptocurrencies/NFTs) in general as a money making scheme. The last thing you want is people to invest based on your recommendation/advice, then with them ending up getting burned in the end. This is how families and friendships get broken.
That's what I worry about when relatives or friends get involved and suffer losses because it doesn't match what I suggested and expected and eventually they will blame me.
because I have a relative who wants to learn or get involved with bitcoin and but I only suggest to open you tube and also some guide sites to get to know bitcoin in more detail, how it works and also the risks which I think is more effective and also clearer and easier to understand, depend on hard work and effort until they are really ready.

Regarding your brother, maybe you should try to talk to him about how money works in real life, see what he knows so far. Then you can ask how he feels about inflation, when suddenly you have the same amount of money but can afford less on it. Cases of hyperinflation can be interesting to talk about, such as a billion dollar banknote in Zimbabwe being nothing. Then, from that, you could move to talking about the ways Bitcoin is different.
Regarding NFTs, it's a dangerous business that can make one lose a lot of money with unfortunate investments, so you and your friend should be careful.

1. Use YouTube videos to educate him it's really interesting and some people I found did make a lot of things very easy

2. There are many courses as well available online for Bitcoins therefore it might help you out, if he is able to understand them as well

3. There are companies offering courses for kids!! Here in Ukraine parents generally sends their kids to such schools where they are professionally taught about bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies which I always find interesting.

4. He can also own his own NFT launch and even try and make something that can hold a value, it might not be successful but it would be worth the whole experience.

5. He should definitely study about the El Salvador and how they are planning to make the whole economy more consistent with Bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies.

6. Using renewable sources of energy with Bitcoin mining is a big plus as well. Teach him about that would be cool!

I do have a brother as well, and he is 15 years old. He’s aware that I’m into cryptocurrency and he has seen me talk about it a lot of times, and I also do talk to him about it and have explained how it works and what it is all about for him. But, he’s not making use of it. Though I do have plans that at some point I will have to open up a wallet for him and put some coins in it, especially Bitcoin, for him to start with. Then As for My Portfolio, I don’t really have plans as of right now to make any changes to it, I think it is good.

It is only a few coins that I have there, and they are really good right now and I don’t think there is any need for me to be making any changes at all. So, I would be going with that till the year is over. And I do have friends as well who are interested in cryptocurrency, and I’m teaching them too.

Welcome back with a great initiative. If we do not teach our family members then how will they meet with the world's first successful cryptocurrency Bitcoin? I feel this is our responsibility to at least share our experience with the nearest person and family. It's possible though Bitcoin is illegal in a country. Once you will introduce NFT world's with your friend then he will introduce more people, although I am not a fan of NFT nor do I understand what is that. Just know it as a Non-fungible token.

Hope you are a good trader since you are wondering to set up a trading desk. So seems your overall experience is excellent which would keep a role in Bitcoin adaption. Keep it up and best wishes for you.

Based on your post history I guess you haven't really gone that far from this forum as I can confirm that you don't have a huge gap between active and inactive. I don't think you've been away for weeks since then so no welcome back from me.  Wink

That's too young in my opinion to learn something like bitcoin, but if you just teach him the basics it might be good for him. He's still in school, for sure and teaching him something like earning money from bitcoin forum isn't the best lesson for him. He needs to know about bitcoin, but IMO, not the way he makes money from this forum because it was a bad start in his stage of education.

4: Are you thinking about starting a new portfolio?
Depends on your interests. If you want to trade or invest then maybe you need to have a good portfolio for it. Bitcoin is still the best option even if you come back while the price is correcting.

The thing is I don't have a spare to get a new portfolio, I see many NFT projects out there that are popping up, I am in Axie Infinity and also a full time miner. Even though I want to invest, my money is going to my expenses, mortage, foods, kids stuff etc. It is really hard to come up with a plan with no extra money, sad but true.

Good thing the people around you especially your family members are in to it. It is a good opportunity for them to lean something new and use a decent amount of time to study about crypto currences.

I would say there are a lot of people who have been away from the forum for extended
periods at some stage, the main thing is to come back!

Interesting that your 12 year old brother is interested in Bitcoin, are you going to teach
him some additional general financial information about FIAT and Inflation? Also teach
him about wallets, exchanges and sending/receiving Bitcoin and staying safe.

Welcome back to the forum!

Sure it's so exciting to be back in the crypto space after missing out so many price actions.

Maybe it's good to see your friend and your brother teach them how to earn and make money with NFT's. Your brother might get bored with Bitcoin especially that he hasn't been generating his own income to buy Bitcoin. At least make him start by earning for himself like playing those NFT play to earn games.

Good luck to your trading career path anyways.

Welcome back. I like that you’ve got a list of things written out, all seemingly things that will help the adoption of bitcoin and or cryptocurrency.  I’m curious in regards to your #3..what do you mean exactly by setting up a trading desk? That sure is a tall order no?

For your convenience, you can direct them here and instruct them on their questions regarding bitcoin but in the meantime, you can let them read these basic questions just like what I do when they asked me about it. https://www.weusecoins.com/en/questions/

Don't be bored when they ask you the same questions because they just wanted to be sure of everything before they make their move.

If only I know how to educate other people when it comes to Bitcoin. I mean for others, sharing information is very easy but in my case its very hard for some reasons. Its good to see your family member curious about Bitcoin. I just hope that somebody here will be curious about it as well though I can't educate them but there are many information on the internet that will help them.

NFT's are still in a hype right now and we are seeing new NFT games and NFT arts every single day. Just always do research because there are many NFT related scams already mostly in NFT games Cheesy.

4: Are you thinking about starting a new portfolio?

Welcome back Grin

You can start a new portfolio to separate with your other investment because you want to teach your brother and your friends which need to explain to them for more details.

Your brother has an intention about bitcoin and that is a good start because if he has a passion for the thing that can make him curious, that can give him a chance to understand your lesson. But you need to remember that he is just a boy that is growing up and needs to be wise while he is under your guidance. But I am sure that you can handle it with good as he is your brother. Well, good luck to you. I wish you can teach them so they can understand and can use bitcoin or altcoin properly.

Welcome back~

Good luck with your new journey, whatever your plan is, I hope you will be successful and I would say the timing is good because the market is bullish. Make a portfolio that is for the short term, I'm sure that's very effective as the price would sometimes dump but it will recover right away.

Day trading is always good at this moment, so just what do you think you are comfortable at.

Welcome back!
Your brother is already 12 years old and I think at that age for the teens today, they're adaptable and already knowledgeable and easy to understand the technology that we've got today.
About a new portfolio, I don't think of it. I'll just focus on what I've got and will do the budgeting because instead of making a new one, I'll just be adding more soon.

here try to check this thread and maybe what Slovakia does to their students may Help your brother understand faster without getting bored.

The student mentioned are much younger than your brother so he can cope up easier i guess .

but of course adding some flavor in the subject will help more.

Welcome back!

I hope the information about Bitcoin will be of great use to your brother for the future.

I hope your project works out for you, as for me, no, I don't expect to start a new portfolio. My portfolio is boring and consists of periodically buying the S&P 500 and Bitcoin, not caring what the market does.
