Isn't dumping just losing all of your faith in a currency, theres no point in doing it. Confidence is important for Bitcoin.

How can you lose confidence in bitcoin the day it gains 20$ and we reach consensus? Oo

Confidence has nothing to do with bitcoin price. It is the most volatile market I have ever seen, so I do not consider someone selling all his coins as he lost his faith in bitcoin. He just does not want to take the resk

Very rightly said, and if you are dumping your bitcoins at this stage then that is a worst decision to make, as we are very near to enjoy the success of bitcoins, so I believe you should hold your bitcoins for a while.

Consensus is reached! Not a good time to dump, not at all :3

Yes indeed. $12 up since yesterday.
But a few guys will take profits sooner or later so I'm not expecting a big rally coming in now.
Still too early for that.

We'll get a little dump but price is definitely going up!

Bitcoin is in a good spot right now, dumping is probably not a good idea. It'll at least rise another ten or twenty dollars before dropping back down into the high 300s. I'm going to keep my btc until price reaches 470, that would be a good time to dump.

No, never do that, dumping your coins is not a good idea you might regret it if you see that bitcoin's price has improved...  Smiley
People are going to say that even if it reaches 1k $.If you never sell them then it is pointless to increase or hold them, majority of the people are only to make some quick cash out of it and not to be completely into it and dump their fiat on btc or for the economic revolution.

no matter what we advice people to do, they will not listen to our advice as they simply don't know what to do or what they want. most of the people yolo buy hoping the price will go up significantly so they can make a quick profit. people don't have the patience to wait till the block halving.

To be fair, they have a better idea of what they want than we do. And without knowing what they want, any advice we give them is likely to be fairly meaningless.

It is not good to sell your Bitcoin now. The value is now going now going to rise and it will be more worth.
And I think it will more used in the future. So people can have a lot of profit too. But than the value must rise.

you can do that, but i'll keep them, and use them more, or i will sell them when their price will be high
You better keep them because the price will increase in a few months for sure.
The halving is also coming so if you wait for a bit you will make profit.

Dump or selling your coins is not the right way to do so. Because if you sell your bitcoins you will be lose a opportunity to make a profit if the price goes up. So don't dump or sell your bitcoins because the price is not stable it will rise again just be patience.
If you sell you lose, you hold you can gain profit.

Its fair to point out that everyone has a different view on how they see bitcoin.

Some people are just holding due to the techonology behind it rather then price point. But I think in all fairness its everything - so people who do sell it just means they need the money now then waiting later and rather not stick around for it.. people change their minds quick.

So I wouldnt be surprised if the person comes back.
