Well it seems that it is a very quite bad news and for sure a lot of Chinese miners are going to be affected by it.

But I don't think those people that will be affected with this control are going to stop easily with their limited transactions.

For sure, this is going to affect somehow with the bitcoin price, but hopefully not that too high.

Let's speculate a bit. Maybe bitcoin is becoming more and more like the FOREX market it only rises and fall only when something happens and not without a reason. I think none of you knows yet that bitfinex is offline and claiming that the coins have been stolen from them. This is the reason of this fall in the price in bitcoin and also the reason why you and anyone else should not dump it. It would be an error.

I think the bitcoin price now is quite stable and it is a good price to buy. In 12 months, the price will be over $1000.

Contradicting yourself there.  If bitcoin price is stable then both sellers and buyers are equally met and balanced and so price is unlikely to move.   Unstable could mean the price rises due to an excess of buyers or it can be very erratic and up and down for the next year.  Instability could also mean doubts rise and the price falls.
I dont think bitcoin is stable as a market, I think its growing and adjusting still and to some extent under attack by those who which to divert it their own needs without giving anything in return.   Steady growth I dont see as stable and bitcoin isnt steady anyway, its more like a whirlwind gaining size
fluctuation as always that's bitcoin moves and it is hard to say that it can be stable much better to say bouncing up and down hoping for the best from our investment.
Just do not worry that much with what is happening, the price is still good and we should not dump. We have to trust and strengthen our faith with bitcoin and believe that the interest of the many will be serve in the future, the temporary crisis is not the basis to dump as there is still stability in the coming days.

It can be good to dump some bitcoins but I would not recommend it on this moment if you do not need the money for something, You should just be patient and hold them for a bit longer because of the halving that is happend recently that is already mentioned in this topic but its in fact the truth without any doubts and It will increase in upcoming months like gold.

you are right about it, the price of the bitcoin is going to grow a lot in the near future, and make me good money so it is definitely a great time to buy

is there another big rise on the way?

because whenever i see these negative topics being bumped and also the known FUDsters start new topics like today, there is always a big rise happening shortly after because they have been trying to fill their pocket with more BTC.
You have got the point. Those who have inside news trying to create panic to get people sell their coins.
I suggest we should hold for 3-4 months

I think it is the good time to buy some bitcoins now. If those guys want us to sell, we should buy instead.

that would be really great but i think that the price is really unpredictable right now and anything might happen with it, i hope the trend is going to be upwards

I think a big rise could happen in 3 to 4 months for the bitcoin. Attention is focused on Ethereum at the moment.

It belongs here, not the speculation section.

I was always selling during this fake pump (you really never know when it ends) and will be more as it goes up and I'm not re-buying later even if price goes below $200. I won't regret even if it goes above $1000 someday when I sold two times cheaper. I think it was the last big pump we could ever see.

Someone might say that "I lost faith" but there should be no faith, common sense should be. Let's be frankly. Banks/governments will never use Bitcoin. Instead they will create own scalable blockchains. Normal people will never use Bitcoin. They simply don't need it. This means that bitcoin won't go mainstream and price won't get that high.

Just think how the US government/JP Morgan/BoFA will adapt a currency which majority of emission is held by some kids and cryptopunks. Also 1/21 of coins is held by some anon who calls himself "Satoshi". This is no serious. This is fucking ridiculous.

Comparing bitcoin capitalization with gold's is fucking ridiculous, too. Gold has got history of thousands of years and a lot of applications. Meanwhile Bitcoin is just a virtual asset that's been known for about 7 years and has got very poor applications. What is worse is that bitcoin is not really scalable.

Again. Comparing bitcoin capitalization with facebook's is even more ridiculous. Facebook is a large company that connects the entire planet. Holding Facebook stocks generates huge revenues. Meanwhile BTC is just a speculative virtual asset. Not scalable. Old. Always bloating. Not stable. It's even not decentralized!

Also, such a risk as banning Bitcoin in many countries must be considered. First of all, in China. Chinese government is a totalitarian one and they will finally ban bitcoin if it becomes a problem for them. Just like here, in Russia. European Union will likely ban using of bitcoin someday "to stop ISIS/terrorism financing". The US is not the world. The rest are weak/poor/small countries.

What about the upcoming block halving - price went down when the Litecoin halving happened. Expect the same when the Bitcoin's happens. Don't put into this hype or you will most likely be eaten by whales.

This all doesn't mean the whole crypto scene is doomed. No, absolutely not. I'm sure we will see new much better truly decentralized applications in the near future that will dominate/replace bitcoin. And not just bitcoin.

TLDR: Sell out your BTC; don't rebuy it. Invest in other blockchains. Also, don't get fooled by the "hodl" propaganda that makes you never get a profit while whales do because YOU buy&hold.

it would still be dumb idea to sell bitcoins now when price is small like 650$ only, personally i would wait when price will be larger and then sell

Yeah price is stable at a moment but not the best price to sell coins as price will be much higher in future so if we hold till then it can be more profitable.

In my opinion nobody famous should share his idea,to dump anything, unless he want's to get worse price.
If someone known in the industry is starting to sell a lot, everyone is panicking, which means the price will fall hard.

And most of people creating big fud saying they dump everything do that in fact only to drop the price so they can buy more Smiley

That is right. So I will buy some more when the price drops to lower levels. I think the price will rise in the future.

no one will buy if the price started to drop, only expert trades will buy at that value, so do not think about that if you are not expert in the trade of bitcoin, just think about the drop of a month ago, how much you bought at that time? did you buy at that time or you also afraid from volatility?

I think the bitcoin price will rise in the long term. So I will buy when the price dip and hold it for longer.
There are less chances that price will drop at a moment, so if you are planning to buy bitcoin then you should buy it with current price as it will be much higher in next few months.
