Anything that gets you sweating will help. Hot sauna is my favorite but if you have the energy you can also workout.
Very important is to be well hydrated, this is where the soup and tea come in.
Sweet eliminates toxins, hydration is required for sweating.

The only one that works for me is actually getting bed rest and taking dayquil. Adding soup in the mix always helps for your meals. Good luck with getting over your cold! Happy new years
