Are you serious about that? Think about it. Why would you sell your house for one bitcoin? That's not good. Don't invest all your things for bitcoin. It is really a big risk for doing that. Bitcoins value is unstable and no one knows if bitcoin will still continue to pump. You can invest SOME of your money but selling your house is a bad trade.

I do not think it's a good idea for you to sell your house and buy bitcoin because you still need a house and where you want to live with your family for doing this, you gamble with your house and like everybody. It is said, too risky to do that, you better try to make money with the funds you have. If bitcoin can decrease this much then it may also fall further. It has a high risk. So think again and plan smartly. There are people who do this when we are lower than this and then I hope they sell it when it reaches ATH, this can work but it is very risky especially if you have a family thrown into the mix. For me I will not sell my house.

Are you sure that the risk in Bitcoin will be 1%? This is a crypto currency and it is unpredictable. It seems to me that there is a risk in about 30% of cases.
"All or nothing" in this case I do not really like.

I think you should decide well because that is not a wise thinking. Selling your house would mean going to the street to sleep or rent an apartment to survive the cold night. You must think of other ways to have bitcoin. You can even withdraw some of your savings for bitcoin. Or you can sell the other things in your house.

I think that is not a wise decision. It is better to have our earnings as our investment rather than our properties because we might regret it someday. Bitcoin is risky and volatile and we all know that so we must not take our house at tisk if we wanted to live in a better house.

I agree with you. Selling the house is going to be really the last resort. I will do it only under life-threatening situations. In fact, I am seriously considering selling some of my Bitcoins to purchase a second house. If the price of Bitcoins get to $50K or $60K, then I will sell a part of my holdings and purchase a second house somewhere in my hometown.

I would not recommend putting all of your eggs in one basket, but it takes some courage to do something like this. Potentially bitcoin could go multiples higher, or it may fall much more before rebounding. Possibly this bear market will last a while.
