I thought that if we still hold the coin, it means I am lost, but then I realize that if we don't sell anything, then we are not yet losing because we have a potential coin that can increase in the future. So now, I only think that never mind if the price for every coin I have is decreasing but soon, everything will change, and I will have the opportunity to sell all coins to make a big profit again in someday. We have another option to do trading because we have once again a chance to increase the amount of the coins.

That's right and it happens because it's likely that they are too panicked if the market will not increase even though the destroyed market will not be able to increase the market, so never panic it's better to wait first because success is the beginning of our patience

HODL may be a good strategy but if the price increases even in a slight margin, then day trading may be profitable as a short-term investment.

I think a lot of traders have experienced losing last year but you can do something about it to change things. You can start again and sell all your coins and buy coins that you see that always fluctuating and it is traded actively. Remember that there are a lot of coins in the market and we only need to research and pick those as a temporary port to recover our losses.

Just a simple advice. HODL HODL HODL. We can still gain profits if we will wait for the right time. This is cryptocurrency. Anything is volatile. You should exoected that you will losing such amount and the only thing we have to do right now is to keep calm and wait for the bull run.

Hold is a good choice if you buy good coins in the sense of potential and have the possibility to return to skyrocket,

It depends on the coins you are holding. I think it is very difficult to lose if you can develop patience and hold bitcoin or ethereum. Those coins has really show strong recovering face in the past and this has acted as an encouragement to us.

You don't hodl, but I do. Whenever I see a coin or token that I see fit and have potentiality then I will surely hold them for long-term. If you look at those people who got reach the next day, they are actually hodlers for believing on projects they spent money and time with compared to those who immediately sells off as soon as the coin or token hits the market.

Although the topic seem old but still yet many investors are still swimming in the ocean of looses due to the high purchased made by them years back. OP experienced doesn't speak for him/her alone but for the general populist in the crypto-world. In 2018 i bought 6 ethereum when the market was down but still yet the price i bought hasn't come up yet, so, am still losing. Hodling is the right option when losing, if you can't trade.

holding is not a way out. try to trade. learn how to trade. yes, it will take more time. yes, you may have losses. but it will bring your profits when you master it. and you can carry on trading.

You can save yourself from depression or from worrying by selling all your coins or you can read news about speculation on the coins you are holding, if there is hope, then continue holding, if the coin has no potential then sell right away, or you will miss a lot.

I think that you should analyse why you have been losing and what is your trading strategy short-term or long-term. You are more likely to lose, if you are doing short-term trading, so it would be better to go for long-term hold.

maybe hold is the one way, but i think you can make decision again with cut lose if the price is still going down.
