I'm going to uninstall all crypto tracking apps from my phone and pick up some good video games to keep me busy until my vacation which starts 25th Feb.
Don't take a break. The most interesting things concerned to the crypto are ahead yet. Now we are expecting the Lightning Network in Bitcoin. Probably, this new technology will be useful, and the crypto exchange markets will rise again.

Mate you made me realize that this is all what I need.

I want to take a break too and see what will happen to my portfolio on February 25 but this is only for looking at my portfolio.

But I can't stop myself since if I stop, many sources will be stopped too.  Undecided

Last 6 months crypto has been more as an obsession than a hobby.
Fortunately I invested nothing except some money in mining equipment.

I'm going to uninstall all crypto tracking apps from my phone and pick up some good video games to keep me busy until my vacation which starts 25th Feb.
It's only too bad that my vacation money is in crypto. But I hope it will bounce back somewhat in early March so I don't have to sell half my portfolio.

I feel same here as market is really stale and no real margin increase noticeable. But somehow I find myself checking often and often like I did know when exactly the market awakening will happen. I will be on the alert by that time; February ending- early March.

in the event of a market correction, many people panic and sell their assets. I think including you, even if you say lucky never spend money for investment. but I think personally, every investment is always at risk, nothing 100% accurate will be lucky. but at least, I often benefit. than you are just scared at the circumstances.

I think you are experiencing a depressive disorder over the market downturn. yes I can understand, but in the stock market up and down it is a common thing. we must always try to know and learn every circumstance.

the luck does not side with you, for enjoy the results and on vacation, it seems you have to wait until the middle of the year. and I am sure you will get a bigger profit.

bitcoin can not be predicted with certainty, but sometimes feelings also answer good luck.

Let the cryptos sleep on your wallets, just make sure you have backups of your private keys and pass phrases. Then come back in a year or so and look if your cryptos developed well in the meantime. Selling now wouldn't make much sense as you would take the loss now that prices are low. Just forget about cryptos for a while might be a good decision now.  Wink

Well that is a good idea since is becoming an obsession for you, taking a break is very good at this point I hope that the price of bitcoin will bounce back before the end of your vocation and again I think you are investing more then what you can lose in bitcoin and that is a very bad strategy because it will always lead you to obsession just as you are experiencing now.

Don't give up on crypto sir, Don't lose hope of course it will bounce back, but the idea of taking a break is not a bad idea you always need to spend some time to other things other than crypto it will help you think well so you can make the right decisions just don't forget to do other things that make you really happy other than crypto it'll help you a lot.

One of my wish for this year to have my own mining rig although I'm still assessing my location if it will be profitable considering the electric consumption is quite expensive.

I'm going to uninstall all crypto tracking apps from my phone and pick up some good video games to keep me busy until my vacation which starts 25th Feb.
Very good strategy to not give yourself trouble with the current downtrend of the market and have fun with your vacation.

It's only too bad that my vacation money is in crypto. But I hope it will bounce back somewhat in early March so I don't have to sell half my portfolio.
How much did you cashed out? Everyone is tuning in for a bounce back and for the meanwhile we've been stuck to $7k - $8k.

It is good to taking a break sometime.
the best time to taking a break is when the crypto market have a correction.
at the end of correction, you will reap what you invested.

Yes you really do need o take a break. Too much of something will always gonna end bad. Taking a vacation is a great idea, keeping your mind busy on other things to help it recharge. It is really not good to inves all your money to one thing, I do hope you will bounce back again.

Yes, my friends think this time you should take a break will be better. Do not care about bitcoin pricing, so you'll hold them longer without worrying. I want to be like you, but I can not take a break. Wish you more success in investing bitcoin.

I agree with you.

Today's cryptocurrency markets may be volatile. Your mining equipment's digital currency is now the best way to keep it in your wallet!

Maybe the market will pick up in March!

I'm so ready for a break but we must never give up. The tech is awesome, it just follows that the application will be profitable. To succeed, there must be ups and downs. Hang in there.

I have the same tactic, when everything is going down I just remove myself from cryptoworld. I go outside, or play games, focus on my work. Always works.

Obsession is bad, but if you will have a break for awhile without checking your accounts what if btc's value will bounce back over night and you'll lose that chance? Just have a self- control, try to set a limit, if you think you need a break, then don't just take a long time. In cryptocurrency, everything is uncertain.
