They always seem to be more complicated instead of getting easier.

Some of these captchas are nightmarishly tedious and some are just straight up sadistic.  Unfortunately I'm totally addicted to one dogecoin faucet and I do it a few times a day.  I tend to prefer the ones where you have to enter some number that's written on a mailbox or street.  Those aren't bad and I can see them on my cell phone.  Others, like the ones where you have to identify all the Chinese food or something like that--those make me want to strangle someone.  I can hardly make out what's what.

I found a way round it by logging out of my gmail account. As soon as I do that I can then just select 2 images and its accepted. I've created a few gmail accounts so by logging out of each account when it starts asking me to select 4 images and repeating the capture twice before its accepted, I then just login to a new gmail account.

Is true your word "that the more you solve reCaptcha,it becomes increasingly difficult to solve." but this is a "temporaney ban" for faucet user.
I use more faucet a day and insert manually more of 500 reCpatcha and when is the moment of signal street , i have 2 option:

1. close the faucet and wait 1-2 hour for back other images

2. use a audio captcha.

I can understand the more difficulty for prevent a bot, but 99% of captcha signal street not have resolution

I report about half of them as 'no valid solution'. I don't think it helps, but it makes me feel better. I have changed any I can to SolveMedia, and after a couple of hours of doing reCaptchas, I just close the faucets that use it.  It's making it very difficult to do faucets full time.

That is why I think that reCaptcha is the worst choice for faucet users...
I have partially solution that when problems arise, log in to Gmail and in most cases that help with solving captcha.
I see that a lot faucet use funcaptca which allegedly is better to protect against bots, personally I prefer are you a human captcha Smiley

Is anyone else having this issue with the captcha where you have to select all the food or street signs images. It seems during the day everything works fine but at night I have to complete the captcha twice. www.bitvisitor.com is such a site that uses this kind of captcha.
I thought it was me at first but its not. Its extremely frustrating.

The problem exists and I have also same issue with reCaptcha, especially with street signs.
I investigated a bit and what I have concluded that the more you solve reCaptcha,it becomes increasingly difficult to solve.
In a way they're starting to look you like a bot,and you must solve more and more to confirm that you are human.
It helps if you sign in to a Google service, like Gmail and then captcha becomes easier to solve for some time.

CAPTCHAs have long relied on the inability of robots to solve distorted text. However, our research recently showed that today’s Artificial Intelligence technology can solve even the most difficult variant of distorted text at 99.8% accuracy. Thus distorted text, on its own, is no longer a dependable test.
To counter this, last year we developed an Advanced Risk Analysis backend for reCAPTCHA that actively considers a user’s entire engagement with the CAPTCHA—before, during, and after—to determine whether that user is a human. This enables us to rely less on typing distorted text and, in turn, offer a better experience for users...
...However, CAPTCHAs aren't going away just yet. In cases when the risk analysis engine can't confidently predict whether a user is a human or an abusive agent, it will prompt a CAPTCHA to elicit more cues, increasing the number of security checkpoints to confirm the user is valid.
Can confirm this.
It's not a mistake it's just a shitty system since after an x amount of solved captchas you just can't solve them at the first try(it's a bit strange that you always get an error on the first try and rarly on the second one isn't it?  Roll Eyes).

If you have a lot of faucets or some fast faucets it's pretty annoying and again this system is really shitty....just because i have to solve a lot of them doesn't mean i'm a bot or something like that. People that solve a lot of them should be awarded(something like funcaptcha's system) and not the opposite.

It's the same with recaptcha v1, in fact at the start of a day you get those 3-4 easy numbers to write and after some time impossible words.

And i'm always connected with my google account and just sometimes i got captchas that i dont have to solve....i just have to check the captcha and it's automatically solved and that's how it should be after a lot of correct captchas and not after you dont do them for a while.

I have the same problem with the 'street name' signs. Every single time it asks, I have to do the image selection over and over, until a whole new selection comes up, one that doesn't involve street names.

I have started avoiding faucets using google re-captcha. I'm using solve-media whenever possible.

Yeah, I have experienced the same bullshit. Really frustating, this bug can easily make a sane man, insane.

It's not a bug. It's a common mistake as some images appears too blurry for our eyes to identify the pictures.

I don't think so, its also seems a bug for me. For example the oranges, its pretty clear to point out what's really an orange or not and I'm pretty sure I checked the only 3 images of oranges and yet it's a mistake and I have to try it again   Undecided

Is that google's reCaptcha? The one with the "I'm not a robot" thing? Damn I really hate sites that have that captcha, you are not the only encountering that issue and sometimes internet connection speed affects also the captcha. Anyways I guess it will be more frustrating if  you use that site , bitvisitor, for earning bitcoins Grin

the problem is with the picture that the captcha supplies. they are not always clear, so it makes it hard to recognize some of them and select the similar ones.
also sometimes i miss one out of three, but it does not reload the captcha, it just gives me a warning and after i selected the missed picture i can submit the same captcha.

Isn't it strange that someone that is paid a few pennies a day to click on captchas finds something to be frustrating?

I have the same issues every now and then yet I realized I must've clicked the wrong images. You must've done the same too. You just didn't notice.

btw, this doesn't belong to bitcoin discussion as the cptcha is not really related to bitcoins or anyhing else. Move it to off topic I guess? Smiley
