Imagine that you are a new player in the crypto world and have no idea about this topic.
What are you doing now? Read the book? You invest your savings in bitcoin, maybe you look at other coins (alts) or maybe you see that the price is falling and you're waiting to buy even lower. If so, do you know when to buy? What's your plan for this moment? Smiley

If I am a newbie here, I'll start reading the forum and see what I missed for so many years. But I need to calm down at first, because if I feel that I have been left by the train, I will make decisions that I might regret. So chill and be grateful that I encountered crypto even if it is already late.

Most likely I am excited as hell, I dont know about bad things in crypto, the huge amount of scams in ICO world, the telegram scams, the exchange scams. I dont know that I need to protect my privacy. I am trying to establish connections with news articles and coin price, I am trying to find other corrections. I dont see how book could help with trading in BTC, there are plenty of good information on web.

If I will pursue myself to study the real background of bitcoin, I can. That is what I was thinking when I was started to be a crypto enthusiast. A lot of confusion came from my mind when I am looking for this opportunity but as they say, there is no black holes for the person that has dedication. If I were newbie, I always have my inspiration to learn something new. That is my character, so I can easily adapt with changes specially if there is income.

If i imagine that i’m a newcomer, my first thought would be thinking about buying some Btc i guess. This market could seem a bit scary for someone new. I think it’s better to read many things and watch the market movement for a while to understand how everything works in crypto market. It’s always important to make some research before to buy anything.

To be honest, I'm so long involved with Bitcoin that it would be hard to imagine to become a newbie again.
On the other hand I think it was easier to start years ago when the price was lower, there were not so much fraud and fake news, false Bitcoin predictions and experts. On the other hand today it's easier because Bitcoin has not bad reputation anymore and it's better accepted, community is bigger and much more information are available, although not those on social networks.

i would be much smarter and buy btc at low price. But if I was very smart then I would have started to look at btc in 2010. i think its good move to invest money in crypto if you are beginner to see how things is going on.

I don't agree with that.

I mean, it is a good move to invest your money into cryptocurrencies while you are a beginner? No. When I am a newbie in investing in cryptos, I am so tensed. Not because I know it is volatile but the thing is that there are a lot of people getting scammed. Time taught me how the price moves, I learned a lot of and that starts with being scared, overthinking and panicking.

Maybe watch youtube videos as that could give more highlights on the current market situation, then maybe read for books if I want to go deeper to improve my knowledge, for me, it's easy to find good tools to learn if a person is really interested to learn.
I don't consider YouTube videos to be a good source of content for newbies, especially with how most of them go with the flow of the market and adjust their stance even on an hourly basis when they have to. Too biased and greedy for clicks.

The market is obviously the most important factor for people to join, so from there it makes sense to get comfortable with markets in general. I like the suggestion for people to read books because that definitely helps.

If you have a basic level of market understanding, it's much easier for you to make a decision on when to buy and when to sell. Currently most people just buy in at any price level not knowing that it's likely the top that they bought.

I am really a curious person and probably i would tend to read , research and explore more the forum to gather initial information about bitcoin but as per what i observed, almost all topics tells that bitcoin is a good investment but requires risk. I probably buy within weeks of reading i guess.

same bro, I'm also someone who is curious when I have something I just found out. Usually I will listen more from forums, blogs, and books. If I understand then I will try real things I just learned. And it is also very risky to go directly to buy bitcoin without learning it first.

It's true bro, things that are interesting sometimes make us curious, but if I read or from a blog or just read, that's enough for me to find out about Cryptocurrency ...

My experience with bitcoin is very difficult, where in 2014 it was very difficult to find or study it, it also needed someone who was right to give us knowledge, because if we do not find people who are not certain in the future we will be blind to knowledge system that is in bitcoin ...

If I were at the beginning of my journey in crypto, there are ad networks that payout satoshi for impressions and clicks on their ads. Research those, they work just as Adsense, only faster, cheaper and less volume in general.

There is a lot of information on the bitcointalk forum about what trading is and how to learn to trade.  If you understand the first basics of this activity, then thanks to the small start-up capital you can get the first experience in practice, which will guide the newcomer on the right path.
