I don't know, is that good for us in the future? I think it feels uncomfortable to plant something in our body. Like there is something else, which is not part of us
This does not sound very good in terms of religion. There, they have long warned that in the future, people will put a sign on the devil on their hand and without such a sign it will be impossible to buy or sell anything. Therefore, even from this point of view, I would not want to get involved with such microchips, however convenient they may seem at first glance.

The sign could also be something as simple as a Tatoo or a permanent armband or ring or something glued to your fingernail. We are entering a era where Nano technology are making things possible, that has not been possible before. Saying Bitcoin on a chip inside your body has something to do with that is plausible, but definitely not the only option out there.

I am personally against anything foreign being implanted into my body, so I am not doing it for religious reasons. You still have much better alternative options to store your coins and to use as a wallet, so why should you go to these extremes?

Conspiracy theorists will start to talk about it being the mark of the beast. They could be right in that it can start a new economy and we will have a new world order. I won't put it in my hand, but good to know it is possible

I think this is a bit too much. Microchip Bitcoin wallet is very invasive for my tastes. And unnecessary too, you can have a mobile wallet with a key phrase and this is all the amount of security you need.

This has been quite a talk in reddit some years ago, and I don't think this has come to fruition in any way. The talks about microchip implants has been around for decades, and the first use people suggested it for is for medical use and social identification (kinda like a national ID sort of thing) but it can also be used as a bitcoin wallet if one wishes. This solves the rather normal cases of misplacing wallets, forgetting passwords, thefts etc. that is still a huge problem for people even up to this day. If you are highly paranoid then yes, this might be the solution in keeping your wallets safe and sound, but is it worth implanting chips inside your body just to keep it 'safe'?

That's for you to decide.

This idea doesn't sounds too good for me. I think i will pass to using implant wallet in my body.
If you interested about it, maybe you can search for it in the dark web or somewhere underground world.
Dark web or underground world? no, there's no need to go there just for this fact.

It's already on the mainstream and some companies and countries are already trying to implement this but not with bitcoin balance but with their own currency.

Hello all!
I have just heard about microchip in a hand which you can use for Bitcoin payments.
Have you heard about it? Do you know where to order?
I have heard that it is classic microchip for dogs/cats but you have to modify it, but how?

I do not heard any news about to the person who implant microchip for bitcoin wallet. If you want to order the microchip you should go to their country and tell to them that you want to have implant too. You can also search it in internet. But, for me I think I will never do this thing.

As far as I know some companies work on something similar but here it's like have visa/mastercard and other paywave cards alltogether like you do NFC payments on your phone. For example take Fitbit Versa, you can pay with it (NFC), you'll have similar thing for payment in microchip. On bitcoin I have no idea how will someone do that, possibly you have to implement XAPO's or similar provider's chip, that sounds silly for me. Like the way I always pay.

It does sound like a science lab testing.  But don't you think its going to be easy for robbers to rob you instead? Phone is much safer than that. The more we get into technology the more it gets easier for it to be compromised by a lowlife robbers who somehow knew the basics of sending and receiving BTC.

Oh! I passed through this news later this morning about people who implanted microchips in their hands. I dont know if its about credit card or crypto wallets but i know its for purchasing purposes. How could i put some foreign objects in my own body which is not helpful on my body per se? Its kinda wierd but its innovative. Hope it doesnt have negative effects on the body.

Why would you want to implant a Bitcoin wallet into your body, if a implant that size can be hidden in everyday items you wear every day, like Rings / Physical wallet / glasses / somewhere on your clothing etc.  Roll Eyes

Projects like this makes no sense, if those minute chips can fit into every day items you use daily. You also carry your mobile phone with you everywhere, so why do you need a Bitcoin wallet in your body, if you can have it on your mobile phone?

But this is going to happen, we have to adopt with the changes if majority will do.
It will only not secure if you will bring everything, it's just like bringing a wallet but attached to your body, refill when you needed to.

That may seem to dangerous if its implanted inside our body and im not going to to try it even if majority of the people will do  because im not a kind of guy that will risk my life just to try a new techy stuff .

This kind of things sounds me like science fiction. I wouldn't let something which is a micro-chip or not to be injected to my body. Also, it doesn't make more secure my cryptocurrencies.

Ive heard this idea before and it seems real because it has already been tested ( if im not mistaken ) .  its not a science fiction bro and its more secure than a usual wallet because no one can steal it if the wallet is installed inside you .

Oh really?, I thought it was a security chip to identify all the people living in that country to solve crimes. This will allow the government to monitor individuals locations and records it in a system where the government could access so that it will be use as a reference if there is any crime happening to which it relate to that person. Anyway, This is not ideal planting a chip for bitcoin wallet in our body. There are better ways storing bitcoin than this.

I would pass that implant wallet! I don't want to implant anything in my body!
Yeah that is a foreign object and even our bodies will not allow for this. Our body will interact to this and this could cause health problems to our body. Sad, but see those people who implanted foreign objects on their boobs and butts now that they are having problem with it from infections and other serious related diseases.

This can be possible and in this era, this can surely happen in my opinion and I really think this is already in progress and on the testing phase for now, Convenient and very tempting as it may sound for me it is pretty scary and if there are people in this forum that are reading the bible there is a conspiracy about this that is indicated through the bible about the mark of the beast that a secret plan that will implant us a GPS tracking device that will monitor us with implanted chips, This can be a contactless payment for us but a sinister plot that can be utilises in the impending end of times,

Well, it is just my opinion when you are reading the bible and the conspiracy theory that can happen in the future.

Will probably be heading to this in the future, safer for us as it's implanted to our body.
As we go to the digital world, this is just going to be a norm going forward because technology will change everything for the better.
Imagine, you can just walk in a grocery, get all your needs and go out and then get scan, transaction done, easy for the businesses this way, and this is just one of the good example as its also applicable with services.

This kind of things sounds me like science fiction. I wouldn't let something which is a micro-chip or not to be injected to my body. Also, it doesn't make more secure my cryptocurrencies.

I saw a post on Reddit back in the day about this, unfortunately the YouTube video has been deleted.
"This guy has a BTC wallet implanted in his hand": https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/6k4s6c/this_guy_has_a_btc_wallet_implanted_in_his_hand/

I don't think it's something you just can simply order online; but instead something specifically made for you, though I'm not 100% sure. It's probably something you request a surgeon to implant it for you, though I guess it's going to need some requirements(probably needs to be approved by a doctorate authority to make sure it's safe).

Having a bitcoin wallet implanted my be a good idea but it would be best for nobody to ever know about it.  I would prefer my own method of steal engraved private-key.

What the heck ? Do you want something implanted in your body ? There must be some side effects because of that.
Using wallet in my smartphone is enough for me, because my phone just like the second of me. I think some peoples feels like that too.
Anyway, using implanted cryptocurrency wallet in human body won't be good for health.
