Ok everyone sorry for this, I haven't come across a thread like this, I hope I haven't valuate any rules?
Making threads does not violate any rules but if the discussion has been there many times and still you make that unnecessary threads that's consider as spam posting which should be avoided. As you said about post quality it does not fit with such activities.

If you are not aware about that whether the thread has been made previously or not jusr use forum search function with the keywords and results will be displayed to you or for more optimised results checkout https://ninjastic.space

I mean, why it should make it complicated to know what's high quality post or low quality post.

If you want to post, then just post, no need to think about the quality of your post. Even you're shitposting, your post only get deleted by the moderator, nothing more. You might become angry, but it's the process about learning. As long as you're not plagiarism, you're good to go.

so I want to share a new topic about it because is of help to this forum, I want to drop it here because plenty of people come here to ask questions (beginners & help board).

This is not a new topic, mate. Before you post, check the forum using the search box to see if a topic you wish to offer has already been discussed. If not, you should post because even if you do, it will be pointless and you will be labeled as a shitposter on the forum. So, since other senior members have offered links to quality posts, you should try to visit those link and learn more about what quality posts look like.

Quote

If a post is not QUALITY enough a lot of bitcointalkers will not make a comment on the post and the discussion will not be interesting as well, if people fines it difficult to relate to your post you will be ignored for a while or even for ever, so new users should try and make posts quality so it can be easy to relate with.

Most of the people who have posted on your topic are condemning you rather than complimenting you. Is that a quality post? No, since if your content is of sufficient quality, people will compliment you. The majority of individuals will simply offer their own viewpoint and move on. Furthermore, if you look closely, you will notice that many individuals are commenting on various topics in order to improve their post count in a signature campaign or activity, so understand their quality postings; we are not the judge of them. However, if others see it, they are the ones who judge; however, note that some have been merited despite their lack of quality. But because how it well arranged.

OP, do you think you've created a quality post now? You should see how many people respond to your topic; however, you see more criticism than praise. Just understand one thing: if you want to write something useful, you must be aware of the subject you are writing about. How can a person who is far from knowledgeable about crypto, for example, since the forum is about discussing crypto, create an informative post? And then think about what you need to do in order to find out more. And can an dilettante have posts with useful content?

A quality post is a post that is well-arranged. when writing or creating a post, make sure that it has a focal point, speaks to a definite audience, and is centered on a particular point

Do not write to earn merit, rather, write to pass a great message.

In addition, the quality of posts is not something we can precisely determine because members have different criteria, and beginners are often confused when they see someone rewarding a post of just a few words or one sentence - but the thing is that it is not always the quality that is crucial, but the post can be funny or sarcastic, and some members will want to reward it.

Unfortunately, there are a lot of people who will leave their comments even on a completely meaningless post because they just want to add another post because of their signature campaign or activity points. What is true is that such users are very likely to end up on the ignore list of many other users, but I prefer to report such posts because hiding the problem under the carpet is not something that benefits the forum, but only individuals.

Quality is important, but there are some other factors that should not be forgotten, because after all this distinguishes us from artificial intelligence, which is increasingly present on the forum.

IMPORTANCE OF QUALITY POST: It helps to improve the knowledge of other users especially the newbie, a quality post is very easy to understand and also relate with.
If a post is not QUALITY enough a lot of bitcointalkers will not make a comment on the post and the discussion will not be interesting as well, if people fines it difficult to relate to your post you will be ignored for a while or even for ever, so new users should try and make posts quality so it can be easy to relate with.

A newbie who has nothing to offer should not because of quality post make every effort to make a post especially when he has no idea on the subject of discussion, quality post is not made in other to physh for merits, you make duch post in your own desire to offer the best answer or information needed for the subject of discussion, if you're not a quality poster then you may be referred to as a shitposter, try as much as possible to learn by reading first because posting, you're not the judge to how quality what you're posting is, people make such observation and noticed that.

You should take your own advice in this case.

A post made for the sole purpose of merit fishing is not a quality one, most time it is spam.

He can't because he's not actually into reminding the readers about post quality but rather he just made that post just to gain some attention then try to get some merits on that post he made. Merit givers is not giving merits if they don't see any useful matters what the thread can contribute so I guess much better if he listen to his own advices so that he can come up with new better ideas that he can share to us.

OP, people see posts from different view and perspective. What i might see in a post to qualify it as a quality post might not be your own aspect of quality post but in all, a post must be able to communicate and send reasonable meaning to anyone who reads it. Such post should be able to teach or pass across some messages which is vital and in line with the topic of discussion to show that the poster is really in up and doing in following up with conversations.

You can create a fresh topic or reply a comment in your own opinion which should be able enough to inform the audience or reader.

Sorry if it seems harsh but another sign of a quality poster or post is also not creating threads on stuffs that have many threads already. You can just add your comment on an already existing thread. Frequently creating unnecessary threads can also be attributed to spamming which is also regarded as lack of quality post.

Agreed, simply anyone can search for any topic on the forum and take help from that thread rather than opening a new thread. New thread with already existing topic is not a quality post.

A "quality post" is also something that hasn't been redundantly and unnecessarily made time and time again without any new information at all.
I agree with mk4.

Google or chat with ChatGPT is enough to know what is quality post in Bitcointalk. It is about searching and reading before posting.
Like this answer from ChatGPT, somewhat related to post quality
I asked ChatGPT how to earn merit

I feel like what you said is already known by almost all users here and they are aware of it. I'm pretty sure there are already numerous topics discussing the same thing so there's no need to repeat it in another topic. Perhaps one topic about the importance of quality posts is sufficient considering there are already plenty of existing topics on this forum related to merits or improving quality posts.

Instead I suggest posting new and highly informative topics that would greatly benefit newbies as well as other ranked members in this forum.

Even without opening the thread, I could tell the rank of the OP from the topic title, newcomers are so fixated on ranking up that their posts are mostly about the same subject. And we give the same advice over and over again. There is no need to create a new topic to teach the importance of quality posts or steps to grow an account to legendary, it doesn’t help at all.

So for that I want to ask what should a newbie can do to make his post more worthy of merits and o be called genuine content as well, Because most of the newbies topic is already covered ones..

We are all learning every day and open to correction. For me, when I see a newbie making some random post, I don't see it as merit fishing unless they constantly keep on doing it; that's when it might become offensive and I could consider it a merit fishing post.

There are also a lot of posts that newbies make that have previously been discussed, but in those previously made posts, more light can still be added, as there are always possible gaps that could be discovered in already concluded content. In cases like that, other authors can cover those areas that seem to need more light.

This is not harsh but the pour truth on the subject matter because I don't see this thread as necessary if you truly looked at it closely because thos subject matters have been discussed before in multiple topics related tothe  quality posting.

And what baffles me most is that this advice is coming from a newbie to other newbies which is something I found extremely funny.  But then,  the general context of the message is good and necessary for the sanity of the forum as far as content and discussions are concerned.

Haha, Buddy don't be scared. haha, you haven't broken any rules. Even though I myself did such type of things in my early times even recently my idea of a basic trading guide failed badly still I'm hopeful.

Be confident try something new always, because many will support you many will question and much more so be yourself, wow I think I should create a motivational topic haha.

I am not sure, but I thought a day ago or within last week I replied to a similar topic. As for the Ops' Thanks 'You are most welcome'. Posts, merits, activity, and such types of topics I think how I learned about them was pretty decent hehe "There was nothing decent I just googled it and type Bitcointalk" and wow I got my answer even for most of the topics I did the same. I think newbies should give a chance this way as well.

Also, i like your merits 2016 seems a bit old you should update them to 2023 haha (kidding)

Many new members on the forum don't understand the basic forum rules and netiquette or how to behave online. I think it's because the younger generation is not familiar with the old-school forums that came from Usenet.

Today, social media and instant messaging are more popular than traditional forums. Younger people are used to instant and casual interactions, so they may find forums strange or old-fashioned. In my opinion, this is one of the main reasons why people write low-quality threads and posts. When they are not aware of the guidelines, they end up posting low quality stuff that lacks substance or respect. Especially the younger generation, who grew up with different types of social platforms, may not understand traditional forums. They are used to fast and immediate interaction, so they may not know how to lead a proper discussion on the forum or how to create interesting and high-quality content that engages the discussion.
