I think design is too old. Fashionable design needs more curves and animations. Moreover, I see that you have not all popular languages (Have Portugese, but there is no Chinese, really strange). Instruments are really useful and I think there is no problem with it

Thank you nykka for expressing your views! Translation to Chinese is actually in our pipeline - will let you once it is finished.

Best,
Richard

I am not sure about multilanguage, you must hire someone for that job. it will cost you a lot.  I hope you do not plan to add Google translate the plugin to do it automatically, it is never a good solution.
About fashionable design and animations, I would not accept that. Your webpage is not for fun, it's more of an informative nature and the information that will be found there is much more important than that it is all decorated with animation. Plus, animations always slowing down the website, so you don't want to lose visitors because of slow loading.

Thanks for clarifying, examplens, very helpful again. We have hired well-reputed translators for all of our translations. We currently have Korean, Japanese, Russian, Spanish, Portuguese and German (in addition to English). I personally agree whole-heartedly with you regarding the design vs content reasoning.

With kind regards,
Richard

When you have cast your vote, if you try doing a hard refresh, does the vote not show then? If it does not show, there's something wrong which we will definitely need to fix ASAP.

Yet it seems to work ok. My bad. I checked in different browsers, and my vote is counted only once.
However, I hope you will be able to protect this voting system from manipulation.

btw. I think it would be good to write somewhere (maybe at the bottom of the page) that some links can contain an affiliate link. some platforms (FB for example) are quite restrictive when it comes to sharing referral links, if you have made this clear, you reduce your chances of being blacklisted from their side.

Great, thanks for letting us know examplens!

Thank you also for the recommendation on affiliate links. There are indeed such links on our site. We will definitely examine this further.

All the best,
Richard

I am not sure how is "user score" working there. I vote for one exchange, but there is no change and my vote is not counted. Also, I can vote unlimited time to one exchange so if all of them counted, it's easy to manipulate with that rating.
I find some of the high-risk exchanges on your list, for example, p2pb2b, sistemkoin etc... All of them had a 3.7-3.8 user rating, which may sound tolerable to a beginner. can ignore the many problems they have and the difficulties in working with them. I guess you don’t want to be an intermediary in their dubious business.

Hi examplens,

Thank you very much for your feedback. We also recognize that you have been a very helpful commenter in the past.

The voting system is also designed to block multiple votes from the same person. Finally, if we would see that - within a short period of time - a certain exchange receives a lot of 5-star ratings and the other exchanges receive a lot of 1-star ratings - we will examine this more closely and we can roll back votes that are cast as a try to abuse the system.

  • any other ideas on how to improve it?
Here are my suggestions:

  • Adding another filter [apart from Continent] for choosing exchanges based on their origins [specific country].
  • Instead of having "US allowed column", you might want to replace it with "Restriction column" while showing restricted countries upon hovering over that column...
    - As it stands, you're focusing on the US alone while leaving other countries out.
  • Speed improvements...
    - There's a noticeable lag/delay upon clicking the dropdown button for the "Continent" filter.

SFR10,

Thank you for being a continuing source of improvement for us. We know that you have been helpful in providing feedback at previous occasions as well.

We will take your suggestions into careful consideration. Thanks!

I would add 1 or 2 filters in the 'Wallet' category
The first to give the option to get the list sorted according to their type: web-based wallets, hardware, and others.
The second would be to sort the list according to the OS: Windows, GNU/Linux, Android, and others

To categorize the list of merchants.
You will sooner or later end up with a list that is too big to search for something effectively. Categorizing them can be helpful for the visitor

The exchange list is too big, filters are more than necessary here.

Overall, the site is great and simple, just need some updates here and there. For example, Lavapay closed and isn't online anymore, the same goes for BonPay. I didn't check all of them just the 2 sites mentioned since I was curious because I didn't hear about them recently

The 'debit cards' category
The name of the cards redirects people to their respective reviews. In these reviews, It might be useful for visitors to have a link to go to the site in question. This would avoid having to go to a search engine to enter the name of the journal.

Edit:
My bad, I realized there is already a "visit" button on the right of the debit cards page. Sorry

Thank you VERY MUCH for your helpful feedback. We will take all of these suggestions into account when developing the lists going forward. Great!

  • what do you feel is missing from the Exchange List?
  • what do you feel is unnecessary info or just dead weight, in the Exchange List?
  • any other ideas on how to improve it?

Its nice seeing another project made by a user here! Honestly, I myself am a designer and a little bit web developer and I have many suggestions that would (for me) improve your platform in various ways possible.

  • When 'traded currencies' are selected, it is better not to show a bold stroke on the text input, and better have it on the outside of the element, the same as how you highlight the input element in 'max fee'. You can rather put a placeholder in it by using a placeholder tag so that we know that such element accepts text input.
  • In the same 'traded currency' input element, it is good to have a logo beside the results. And if possible, it is also good to be a dropdown element whereas it shows cryptos that are popular based on the ranking in the market. If you are getting its result data from an API, most APIs also have the crypto's logo so you might fetch it easily.
  • Decentralized isn't a continent lol. You can either have a checkbox whereas it says Decentralized and make it on default checked with same dropdown button beside it for the continent whereas it is disabled by default, and just show DEX on results. And when the user unchecks it, it would enable the continent dropdown element.
  • Additional Options can below the boxes in one straight row as it was only little checkboxes (still, keep a good padding and alignment, do not congest!), then the Filter fits right beside the max fee.
  • You can also make the whole filters be in a single div, and it can be hidden and shown with a dropping down element (very optional)
  • Since all the data is displayed in a table, you can actually have a filter in it by simply clicking the titles that would filter everything based on the selected column title, the same as how the forum filters data.
  • IMPORTANT: Remove the underline on the names. you can just make the whole row clickable and redirect us to the info page of the exchange.
  • Better have only 2 to 3 colors. If your main theme is blue, just have both blue and white and just use an additional complementary color to blue for important elements (such as sponsored listing).
  • DARK MODEEE  Grin

Those where just my little suggestion in the page you've indicated. I hope you'd be fine with this suggestions lol. Goodluck!

Insanerman! Thank you SO MUCH for this. Extremely helpful and we are both honored and flattered that you have spent time reviewing and contemplating. Wow. I'll sit down with my CTO and see which of your changes we can act upon. Thanks again!!

Website is looking nice but I would like to suggest adding some additional information.
For example you can add if exchange have mandatory KYC or not, and if there are free tiers for trading coins without sending them any documents.

One small design change for website could be adding dark/light theme switch.

Hi there dkbit98,

Thank you very much for this feedback. We have contemplated adding a KYC-column before and will now contemplate it further. Great feedback!

Thank you also for the design change suggestion! We are aware that most exchanges have this optionality and we will analyze what steps we would need to take in order to achieve this.

Again, thank you, it is much appreciated.

All the best,
Richard

Hi there Bitcointalkers!

Richard from Cryptowisser here.

You have been so helpful to us over the years when we have asked for advice. Our exchange list has gone from being a small hobby-type project to one of the most well-renowned such resources in the world. In big part thanks to you! We now have around 250K visitors a month and it's growing day by day.

We are spending January-February focusing on improving our resources (lists + reviews), and wanted to ask you the following:

  • what do you feel is missing from the Exchange List?
  • what do you feel is unnecessary info or just dead weight, in the Exchange List?
  • any other ideas on how to improve it?

We consider each suggestion very carefully. Thank you in advance!

With kind regards,
Richard (and The Team from Cryptowisser)
