One of my favorite wallets alongside Metamask, especially back then when I was so much into Ethereum and its tokens before the transaction fees became a night nightmare. Since then, I haven't used Ethereum that much, and I haven't even bothered a lot with alternate chains like Binance smart chain, polygon or Solana because I think they are so centralized, so I am not sure about the current status of the app but one thing I am sure about the team behind them is that they are very flexible and always evolving  Wink

I forgot about the imtoken for a long time, I used to use it before because of the gas fee adjustment feature which made me interested in using it because I can transact at a low cost even though sometimes I experience delays for the features you discussed to be honest I just found out about it now, but that would be great if really usable can help when we don't have ethereum

I had used it before, but frankly, I deleted the application because it did not appeal to me much. It did not satisfy me in terms of technical features. It wasn't in the system you mentioned back then. Now, if this feature you mentioned has been activated, I think it deserves to be given a chance again. Because there are always missing units for transactions and this can cause problems, now we will be able to make transactions thanks to the token. Really thanks for your information.

in order to execute a transaction on the Ethereum network, of course it requires gas, how can it be possible for a transaction whose fees are paid using tokens? does imToken have its own contract infrastructure on a particular network (eg on the Ethereum network)?
I dont know how the technically of this but surely theres an explanation to that. Possibly tokens that are listed on their exchange is the only allowed tokens. Maybe shitcoins or got listed without consiferable liquidity arent included.

It's clear that if such a mechanism is implemented by them, how can they pay for our transactions with worthless tokens? they might even go bankrupt Cheesy. BTW, how about the update, mate? it's been more than 2 days since your last response, I really want to know how it goes Roll Eyes.

Maybe if try it first then update us, that will be a good review for them as well although indirectly but still they'll benefit out of it within this thread if some users here will find it useful.
Yes of course Im just gonna update if ever I did it or do some trade. Right now I dont have some tokens to swap with yet.

I have also used it to create and activate EOS addresses, in general the interface and usage are not too special and like many crypto wallets, I personally do not often transact on the device mobile, so the fact that they do not cause any problems is considered acceptable.
However, I have just updated to the latest version from imtoken, and there is indeed a slight difference in the previous interface or I feel quite unfamiliar.

It would be useful if it actually worked, but even you haven't tried it, so how can we validate this?
I guess the only way to find out is use the app and the feature isnt it. Well I will try to use that some other time to check its authenticity. But Im sure its legit, since Ive been an imtoken users even before. The only verdict here is how they compute for the tokens that will be less from the transaction, its either same with using eth as gas, but the advantage of this is you dont need eth to trade your tokens.

Yes, you're right. And as the creator of this topic, you should be responsible for the discussion you've started, I look forward to the validation of this feature as soon as possible from you, so we can discuss it further.

Then, another question came to my mind, we know that in order to execute a transaction on the Ethereum network, of course it requires gas, how can it be possible for a transaction whose fees are paid using tokens? does imToken have its own contract infrastructure on a particular network (eg on the Ethereum network)?

I used imtoken in the past but when Metamask and Trustwallet emerge I uninstalled their app and use the most used crypto wallets today afaik. Just update the OP if you've ever tried it already.

After A Non-Custodial wallet, Atomic Wallet, being compromised (link blown) we must think carefully about trusting closed source wallets, especially when we interact with smart contracts and bridges, which are often hacked by one of the wallet developers.

It's the first time I hear about this wallet, but don't these numbers seem exaggerated?
12 million users is a large number and may represent half of the crypto users. How did they know the number of users because we do not provide our data, but rather the number of downloads and the number of addresses.
New wallet is best, it is open source and they have a better user interface.

I don't know about you guys but i think majority of crypto users have already forgotten about this wallet long ago, including myself. i once use imtoken sometime in 2017/18 but stop and move to enjin, myetherwallet for quite sometime before fully settle on metamask which i found very convenient by the way.

The pay miner fee with other token is cool and i was hoping to see it soon on metamask, i think i read something similar about mm will launch that feature but am not very sure, well, if imtoken has this feature already good for them but i will rather wait for mm to include it, am sure it won't be that long before this will happen.

Has anyone using Imtoken app. Its like a wallet same with metamask and trustwallet. They got a feature on their swap market exchange to optionally activate a "pay miner fee with tokens" this is good if we dont have eth or any L1 tokens on our wallet to swap our tokens for stable or any token we wish to have. Im not yet trying it but since its available I guess its very useful one.

When I first got to know crypto, I used this app on my smartphone, but if I'm not mistaken, the features you mentioned weren't available before. it would be useful if it actually worked, but even you haven't tried it, so how can we validate this?

I've also done a Google search for "Imtoken Pay Miner Fee with token", but I haven't found any relevant results. Hmmm, I think the feature is actually not what we expected.

I only had about them but sincerely speaking I never tried to using them because, we know there are lots of wallets launching everyday by day but how do we entrust our funds into them so most time it's better to stick on the ones we already know about them. Except in most cases were someone who is already a user would testify about them, maybe a trusted individual who has been using them for long, just as for long I have been using Myetherwallet with my private keys safely stored. I could easily import them over TrustWallet (TW). However, it's good seeing that one can pay gas fee using the token at least will also reduced the tension of not having gas in the wallet. So they have a very amazing features.

What do you think guys? I know some browser apps like jumper, bungee have refuel feature same as this but Imtoken is a longer platform since then.
