I sometimes feel that i came late to bitcoin because i got in during 2012, then i was late to the show, but now i am like old skool.  Have seen all this shit before and am like ,,,, "what ever"  trust me me newbies , or dont its the bitcoin way.  we have been down this road before, just dont sell or trade into alts you will regret it.  Smiley  learn from my mistakes.   Grin

You have the right advice man, most of the guys on here trade with altcoins and lose money each day. Bitcoin is worth holding if there is an objective that is planned before purchasing the coin or acquiring the coin. Bitcoin is also seems like the payment of choice when the guys on here purchase something online because of the no chargebacks thing. There is also many things that are educational when lurking this Bitcointalk forum, so it isn't totally lame in here lol

The bitcoin ecosystem is very mature. I think is a mistake to sell your Bitcoin because the price is going down in correlation with the scaling debate, low transactions validation and the increasing in fee. The community will find a consensus and do something to get the bitcoin network better to get more people on board.

I somehow agree with you, partially. I agree on your statement of not selling bitcoin especially on a much lower price. Back in 2013, I was first introduced to Bitcoin by a friend of mine and already get hooked by it. There are so many shit things happening way back then and the price movement is just like now. And because of that, I can say that BTC is here to stay. We just have to hold our BTC. On the other note, I don't agree with you that people shouldn't trade with alts. Trading on alts at this moment gives us the opportunity to take profit even if BTC is down. Just study first the alt that you're going to trade and you should be fine.

Bitcoin has been around for less than a decade. I first heard of it 3 years ago ( 2014). I started working on it last year. Through time I learned a lot about it and now I'm still learning. Of course I'm not that new into this, but I still have doubts, confusions and sometimes I feel like I should give up on this.  Ive knew Bitcoin 3 years ago, but I still feel like I don't know everything about it, maybe because there are many other cryptocurrencies that occuring or maybe this is a not ending evolution of technology.I always feel like a newbie. It's not something like I don't have confidence it's just a statement of position. Im always open to new development, new changes, new things about cryptocurrencies. I have so much more to learn.

Not quite true. To some people, trading to alts have been very successful for them. As for me however, I did trade a few of my bitcoin to buy some alts and I've made my ups and downs although I already quit on trading a few months ago since I don't see profit in it. Maybe, just maybe, it's really not just for me.
