Crypto isn't only for hiding things. It also makes it VERY hard to steal other peoples coins, fake coins, it's what makes Bitcoin work. It all depends on cryptology.

Sorry, i disagree with any promotion of BTC that implies we have something to hide, ie, the "crypto" part.
