It's very simple you don't need to need a coach / mentor you just do and learn what you don't know because the coach will not fully guide you to know faster because this all takes a process and you have to do it yourself by doing a search on this forum I think what you want is already discussed here.

Including in trading, investing, mining and this forum how to be a good member it's all been written here, so all of us and other senior members can make him a trainer even though it gives a little insight, especially if you catch faster what is being talked about I'm sure you will will quickly understand from all sides.

IMO, if you want a coach for this field, it is much better that the coach/mentor that you will be choosing is one that you're sure that he/she is successful in crypto trading, otherwise you'll just be paying for nothing.
On top of that, you should just study on your own and ask questions to the community.

I don’t think you need a coach or mentor to learn about this industry. You can just simply ask questions here and the community would be happy to spend their time replying to your query.

This reminds me of something. When I was beginning to conduct free seminars about Bitcoin, cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology to various communities last 2018, they’re beginning to call me “coach” or “mentor”. However, I don’t want to be called like that. Either they can simply call me my first name or “sir” if they want to. There’s even one who call me “Master” but despite that I insist her to call me my first name, she still calls me “master” lol. I just simply want to be me, not to be called as “coach” or “mentor” in conducting seminars and workshops whether physically or virtually.

“Coach” or “mentors” are common in network marketing field and some self-proclaimed pro forex and crypto traders out there. I’ve been in that field before, but I learn that being called like that is just increasing our pride and not gonna be down-to-earth guys to gals out there.

The community is here to help you mate. No need for a “coach” or “mentor”.

I don't think so you will need to have a coach because if you want to make an invest in the knowledge it's all your will to do it there no fast way to learn still the best way is to learn by yourself.

Why not take time to observe the higher rank members right here those are the most experienced members also even the lower ranks have the talent to rank up but some of them don't appreciate but of course just keep helping and contributing to the forum after that the merit comes.

Why did you need coaching, it will not help especially if you are not seeing the person physically, you will need to mentor and coach yourself. If you have just starting to know about crypto, it can be like difficult, but just continue to learn, you will understand and able to help people later on. Just read the parts of cryptocurrencies generally and expand on the reading. When I started cryptocurrencies though, it is not like school that learning is hard, it is read and understand, it is not hard at all.
Well, there's YouTube too where we can watch crypto related contents like mining and more PLUS there are free books to read about bitcoin. As what I posted previously on this thread, self learning is what people mostly do in this forum and then ask questions if he/she done something wrong or having difficulty in understanding.

That user you might think knows it all and would be a great mentor might just be living a fake life and don't even know or practice half of what he writes on the forum. Currently, the system has made majority of the users want to look smart just so they get rewarded with merits for their smart topics or replys without evening practicing what they preach, don't be fooled by what you see.
I remember one piece of advice, my teacher once said "don't do as I do, but do as I teach". It seem true that not all the advice others give in his sermons reflect what he did but the material presented should be of benefit to others. I hope the OP doesn't have to rely 100% on a mentor because in the end it's experience that will make him a bigger person. Mentor may be needed, but without great interest and willingness to learn and practice, it will all be in vain.

Am new here but with a burning desire to grow beyond the expected time, and am much convince that with the help of a Coach with which I could use his/her wealth of experience here in this platform in addition to my burning desire to working out my success here, I believe I will do exploit.

I trust my capacity to adapt in no time, in that am a very quick learner, one with a good memory to reiterate that which I have observed and learned personally. Just as the saying goes,"a mentor is that person who knows the way, and shows you the way", in otherwise, with a mentor's vast experience about the whole system of things here extended to me as a beginner it's really going to boost my speed of knowledge and success in this system.

Am deeply convince am going to have one. Especially one that will add to my level of displine and time mindedness.
Thanks.
The expert or mentor you are looking for maybe have speciality in particular one or two fields and charge you high fees for that and you don't know whether he is genuine one or not and is spamming you with his fake knowledge and taught you the same that would not be any beneficial for you. This is not sports related thing for which you will require mentorship but knowledge of crypto market that can be learn along with your life journey and experiences. Why not explore this forum which is the big source to your crypto exposure and having board for each topic like mining, technical discussion, btc and altcoins related discussions and everything.I have seen many newbies turning into expert here and becoming mentor themselves for others. So try to give this s try instead of going the wrong way which will not give you any good cause.

You don't need to have a mentor because the community of bitcointalk alone is a university of it's own, were you will understand everything you needs to develop through cryptocurrency, but at this point of time, the primary function's out of hundred percent (100%) involvement will come or been determine from you op,and it can be achieve successfully only if you're interested or inquisitive to learn, learning process start by observation, reading posts from different boards, because any topic created by another user on forum, it's obvious that a members of the community here will also suggest to the solution of it, so reading across the boards will impact intensive knowledge to any beginner who is desperate or ready to learn without having a mentor.

What do you need mentoring for and why go the heck to ask publicly like you'll get one so willing to help?
Of course you can get help on or from the forum when it's of this nature but, this ain't the way to go about it. You ask your questions or request clarification on a term or part that puzzles you and get answers. Thats why we are a forum and that's why this is a discussion platform. Q place to learn both the basics and pros of bitcoin and cryptos.

Most persons here knew nothing about cryptos until they got here but then, after several engagements with the forum from series of reading and discussing, you begin to get a hang of it. So, its important that you get involved in the discussion. So, you get corrected on a point you get wrong. Its just the way it is and you'll be better of that way than seeking for some mentorship.

The simple truth is, like with many things in life, anyone who has the skills you seek is already making a lot of money and does not want to teach someone who will become a direct competitor to them making money. Best case scenario is they will charge a lot of money, possibly too much to make it worthwhile and you still might not have what it takes to emulate them. It is very likely you will be contacted by many scam/con artists now you've expressed this desire, some may be able to put forward a very convincing facade using all kinds of trickery if they think you're likely to fall for it - ultimately to drain as much money or personal information out of you as possible. If you really want to learn, research the area you're interested in online and trial & error testing with small amounts of capital is the best way forward.

As mentioned by others if you public ask for someone to mentor then the chances of you being approached by scammers are too high.
If you are determined to learn then you can easily get suggestions and advice on this forum without any mentor.
Getting the best advice and proper steps to follow to gain vast amount of knowledge with the help of other members, guides and articles is the beauty of this place.
You can become a self taught learner with the help of people around here. Just keep asking questions which really bother you but make sure to use the search box first.
Most of the times people keep asking the same question without searching it on the forum.

Also, set your goals straight and decide what you want to learn whether it's about bitcoin or mining or cryptocurrency and blockchains or trading etc...
This forum has information all around. To begin with you can read the forum rules which you can find in the meta section.
Explore this forum and I am sure by then you will be able to decide on how you want to proceed.

The best coach and mentor are your experience and interest.

OP, this statement quoted above should answer your inquiries. You need the interest as a motivation and the then the experience comes in as your coach to help guide you. Is ok to make few mistakes now and learn from them the
making those mistakes in the future and having to regret it as the damages will be huge then than now.

Don't be afraid the make those mistakes now, even the so called mentors or coaches you're seeking for, onces made those mistakes at some point of their career before learning from it and bettering themselves. Consider 99.9% of the users here fake because that's not so far from the truth.

The best coach and mentor are your experience and interest. If you have a strong interest then you should learn anything related to it and you will be experienced with it if you are willing to put it into practice. Someone will always say it's hard if you don't want to do it, remember without failure you may never know what it means to try.

The average forum user has learned and developed their knowledge and skills self-taught. It may take a long time, but we really need the process. Stay a little longer, and you can ask any question the experienced will answer later.

If you hang around this forum long enough, sooner or later, you're going to get a good coach/mentor. So, you'd have one sooner or later. You need not worry. This forum is rich with highly-informed users.

But please take note that this is not going to be a personal coach/mentor who will constantly attend to you directly. Please find satisfaction in the fact that there are indeed knowledgeable users in the different sections and boards here. Should you focus on a particular section or board, sooner or later, you'd notice that there is a member or two who you will look up to and whose posts you highly value and learn a lot from. From that point, you'd even follow them in whatever discussion they're involved.

I need not drop names but I also have my own set of coaches/mentors here, fellow users who are highly instructive in their posts and responses and with whom you seem to be comfortable asking or even replying even if you know that with your ignorance you might sometimes be a nuisance to them.

Besides, if you follow the advice from the others in this thread, and use the forum. You'll have multiple different mentors, from all kinds of different walks of life, and therefore different perspective. So, you can use your own intuitive to decide on what advice to take or not. The thing is with any mentor, they'll likely pass their own bias on to you, even unknowingly. At least if you are exposed to multiple different perspectives you can choose ones which you align with the most.

There's also books on Bitcoin, which will definitely have a bias depending on who they are written by, but will likely have some decent information. Really though, most important figures inside Bitcoin, have been on this forum, and probably active at some point. Take a look at Satoshi's old posts, gavins etc.

Also, if your looking for a mentor in trading. Then, that's going to be a whole kettle of fish with different perspectives, and most will likely be based on their gut feeling, and what they perceive as patterns. Although, there might not actually be any real pattern there.

To me you don't need to announce your need for a mentor, this is because on this forum we have different users with different intentions, I will advise you to look for one of the reputable members of the forum and learn from the method of doing things secretly without them knowing that way you avoid being manipulated by the bad guys in the crypto space.

If you're a fast learner, you shouldn't need a mentor anymore. you just need to dig more knowledge in this forum. Many useful discussions that you can read and you can use the search feature to find what you want in this forum. There's nothing wrong with looking for a mentor, but there's no guarantee having a mentor will make you adapt faster and get better at something. Differences of thought will occur.
Learn, understand and look for what you need and don't be lazy to read and ask about things you want to know. fourm is a complete package that is better than a personal mentor.

I suggest that you shouldn't find a coach or a mentor in this community. You could just ask here and do your research. There are lots of newbies that ask questions and learn from people with lots of experience in crypto. You name it here like mining, creating wallet, gambling issues, wallet issues, transactions issues and many more. Don't worry, as long as your desire on learning crypto will continue then later on you'll think your past or where you start just like the rest of the forum users here.

You said that you're a quick learner and everything can be done by simply asking questions into threads like this.

You don't actually need a mentor but if you think that you need a guide. You can start asking questions for which you think that you didn't know.

Being self-taught is such an advantage for you, OP.

You kind of remind me when I was learning programming back in the days. I thought of buying courses online or get a mentorship, but I realize that there are resources out there that are being given out for free.

Do you really need a mentor when you've got communal help and mentorship?
I think the forum is the closest and best thing you can have for mentoring. You don't need it shows lazi ess on  your part. Like you ain't willing to put I  the work or time to research and read through the contents on the forum but, thats how you learn. This is a young and growing field on constant advancement and innovations so, you need to be alert on news fields and be willing to go search through contents on the forum for informations that are lacking on your side.

Should you need a user fir mentorship, pick one and study his or her posting patterns.  It helps, seriously. Mentorship and mentoring doesn't mean you must be present or have a link with your mentor or idol. You can be at a place study and tend to emulate an individual in order to tap from his or her scheme should should admire his or her way of doing a thing and you'll be good too.

Change that idea of work with what you have you'll be better of than having a first hand teacher or mentor.

It all depends on you, not any coach or tutor.

The forum is opened for all and the community have many helpful and active members who are readily to help you. Remember one thing that they are readily to help you when they see your posts, questions, etc. but it is not their responsibility to help you.

I meant if you are unsure about anything, and can not find with Search (Google, other search engines or forum search), you can create a topic here to ask for community support.

Ok, it's time to go onwards with some basic topics and search tutorial [1 - 3]. If your searching skill is not good enough, try to search with huge topic list [4]

with the help of a Coach

Sorry, but you're doing it wrong. If you go in this direction, you scream loudly that you have a burning desire to... get scammed.  Sad Sorry, but the world is full of bad people too and you should be fully aware of that.

No. Don't go on that path. Really.
Just start from somewhere, anywhere. Think on what you want to know (internals, use, trading, collectibles, ... name it) and start asking clear questions. The people around here is very helpful and you'll get your answers, or you'll get directed to where you can find your answers. And don't forget to search too, since many starting questions may have been already answered.

Just do all on public posts, no private messages, no telegram and other channels. This way it'll be much more difficult for anyone to scam you.

The whole Bitcointalk community can help around, answer your questions, and point to relevant information you may seek, but I wouldn’t honestly expect anyone to become the figure of a mentor. There’s a lot of self-learning through reading here and there, and not only on this forum itself. Somethings will catch your attention, and you’ll decide to broaden your scope of knowledge there, other parts you’ll ignore or postpone (possibly forever). That’s something you’ll have to figure out as you go.

As mentioned above, probably the first thing to bear in mind is that faceless is shameless, and whilst most people are prone to being helpful, there are devious characters around, so the more you comment out in the open for others to chip-in, the better. One-on-one private conversations need to be heavily pondered, and that is a terrain where many scams are encountered (specially on social platforms). The more you read, the more versed you’ll be on these matters, facilitating a transition from being potentially gullible to a thick-skinned know what’s what type of person.

I'm afraid, seeking a mentor in crypto is quite different from other fields, I'm also concerned you're publicly declaring your desire for a coach, this can result in your inbox being spammed with people painting their 'CV' in crypto in your face, and you would not know they are scammers who want to make money out of your naivety, be careful who you communicate with in this network, you're not meant to trust anyone, that's how to make sure your funds are protected.

Having said that, you must have been introduced to the network by someone, that person can be your personal coach for the meantime, that's how quite a lot of users started, but mind you that you should for no reason share any private information about your wallet (seed phrase/private keys, etc) with anyone, not even your supposed coach. And then again, this forum generally is a repository of knowledge with quite a lot of coaches you really don't have to get personal with to learn from them, their posts are there for you to read. Use the search button more often and take your privacy and data very important, welcome mate.
