Well, we are in to July and look at the state the price of Bitcoin is in at the moment. Many of us had hopes we would be looking at high prices and breaking new highs but that seems a distance away. We know it will happen eventually but right now there is no chance. The current $57,000 is a big disappointment considering people were talking about $100,000 in other threads and $75,000 in this thread.
Bitcoin is experiencing consistent price dump these days, or let's just say it's just part of market price correction. If this goes through until the end of July, I guess bitcoin won't definitely reach a new peak within this month but most probably within the next, following months.

However, because bitcoin is highly volatile, I still don't lose the possibility that maybe surprises may come along the way, who knows? Bitcoin will always be unpredictable so we can't hold whatever its price will be. But one thing is certain, if there won't be big news that will hit Bitcoin positively, then surely the momentum to increase its value will never be seen.

Ideally we never see the swings again we've had before but I'd agree its more probable then not.   The sell offs like we have right now are fairly moderate and far more welcome then continued failure over an extended period of time.

I do have some slight hope presently but its only on the shortest time frame.  So 57750 area was the peak of just a few hours ago, BTC comes back to that area now and finds a reason to go up.  If we held that point its the first foothold to start declaring larger positives and a build, the month is still young.

Problem with short time frames its so easy for it to reverse and its incorrect later but the attempt higher is valid even if not successful.

But overall I'm rather positive. I expect we'll end July in green, but it could be less than $75k.

Also voted maybe but I want to vote the last option it does not matter do Dca but regardless of anything I voted, I would had still DCA that's why I had to go with maybe because I do not know what will happen but I have to side with your last sentence because I think we might recover and end the month positive but not above $75,000. Alot of fud is spreading and this is making everybody to be scared of buying Bitcoin. But when everybody is sacred we do not have to join them to be scared but keep accumulating. Bitcoin could keep dipping but we have to know that we are in a bullish period for the market therefore our long goals should be bullish and not bearish like we are expecting a bear market. Bear market should be starting around 2026 after Bitcoin has gotten its peak in 2025 based on past history.

I'm going with a maybe, I'm being a little conservative for this month because I got June's
sentiment wrong and held off commenting for July.

With the current market price of ~$55k its easy to be negative but we have another 3 weeks
to rebound from the negative affects of Germany's sell off and the resulting long positions liquidation,
its only a matter of time before its the shorts which will get blitzed from the inevitable rebound
from all the negativity, it could be this month!

The only caveat is the MtGox payouts continuing and how the market will react . . .

It might be good for a small reentry to speculate on the launch of the Ethereum ETF which was delayed. However, this will certainly launch, I reckon maybe on 3rd week of July. This will not only bring bullishness on Ethereum and other altcoins. We can be very much certain that this will also bring bullishness back to bitcoin heheheh.

IMO it's going to disappoint. I'll be really surprised if it manages to break above $4k, but speculators and fans of ETH claim it can go to 6-8k by the end of the year.
Not my type of speculation though. I no longer bet on altcoins.
If you no longer invest in altcoins, it is understandable that you no longer have expectations, even expecting all altcoins to collapse because each person will only focus on what they invest.

The Bitcoin ETF has helped bitcoin skyrocket so it is not wrong for people to expect the same to happen with ETH. By the way, ETH touching $8k or $10k is just a matter of time just like bitcoin will touch $100k.

Quote
Also, has everyone read the news articles on Vaneck and their application for a Solana ETF? This will certainly also bring bullishness to the cryptospace including bitcoin.

An altcoin bringing bullishness to bitcoin? The last time that happen it was when Do Kwon bought bitcoin to add legitimacy to his shitcoin. But those who invest in altcoins have the right to hope and believe in altcoins and especially ETH.

The news about ETH ETFs has a direct impact on ETH but this is also big news for the entire crypto industry so don't be surprised if it drags the entire market up including bitcoin.

Not only now you can activate your Bitcoin investment anytime by adopting DCA method. The sole objective of investing in the DCA method is to minimize average cost. But those who do DCA regularly, during the market dip season they enjoy a little more advantage and get the opportunity to buy double bitcoins with the same amount of money they bought.
looking at current market conditions, it will indeed be difficult to predict the future, for some people who already own or invest in bitcoin it is better to hold it rather than sell it, and it would be better to add or buy at the current price, for long term investment there is no loss, and it will be very profitable for beginners to BUY and HOLD at the current price,

For me it's better to focus on my investment strategy, regarding the bad market prices this month I'm not focused on that.

Many people bought Bitcoin in June because they thought the price of Bitcoin would go up in July. But the price of Bitcoin has been dumping a lot in July even though now is quite a golden time to buy for those who will hold for a short time. I think you should jump into buying Bitcoin at this time because the market will rise even more in the coming days. Bitcoin DCA from now will not be bad but will give a lot of value from here in few months. So trusting in Bitcoin now only DCA can be very profitable as the bull season is ahead.
We can't guarantee whether Bitcoin price will go up or down in the next month, we can only make predictions. In such a bad state of the current market, negative thoughts prevail in everyone's mind, everyone thinks that the price of Bitcoin may go down further. When the market was going down I probably did a smart thing I sold some of my bitcoins when the price was above $60k.

Then I bought Bitcoin again when I saw it drop below $60k.  Smiley

I am a little still to early in my accumulating yo be bullish or bearish, which ever way the price go it's fine, but I'll prefer a price dump since it would favour me far more better, the DCA method is very good right now since the price its consolidating so you don't end up buying too high with lumpsum and pay the price if bitcoin continues to fall in price Value.
If you think that it is still too early to collect Bitcoin and you are still waiting for a decline to buy it, of course this is not a problem and buying during a decline will certainly give us big profits, but we all realize that no one can know for sure. definitely when the decline will occur and I prefer to be able to buy using the DCA method and do it consistently and hold in the long term to be able to make a profit.
That's true and trying to buy with the DCA method is a good choice for now.
At the moment it's already quite deep in the decline so I don't think that it will continue to go deeper so I think if you want to buy now is a pretty good time.
Let's just think realistically, the percentage is very small for there to be a significant decline again, so don't wait for things that are impossible to happen.

And for what will happen in July, I will be quite optimistic that there will be a price recovery even though it will be difficult to reach 75k.

Whether the price will continue to decrease or increase, no one knows. Just because the price is quite deep in the decline doesn't mean it will stop falling, nor do we guarantee that it won't drop further while the news about Mt.gox has not subsided. But it is true that we should buy now instead of waiting because there is no guarantee that the price will decrease more and if we hesitate, we may have to buy at a higher price. DCA is the best.

Since I personally have no money left for DCA at this time, I also expect the remaining days of July to see more positive moves from bitcoin rather than a continued decline  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy.

Re: In July do we go bull and pass 75k?
I voted for "NO".

The first week of July isn't that good for Bitcoin, and even though we've seen clearly a bit of a recovery, it's still showing a bearish signal. The last time Bitcoin ended up going down for the month of July was in 2019. Right now, Bitcoin is below its 21 Weekly moving average, and that means a bearish sign for Bitcoin. The 21 Weekly Moving Average is an indicator to look for what's the trend of the market for most analysts, and going below it and staying below it means a bearish sign. If Bitcoin will stay below it for weeks then 3 words. "BRACE FOR IMPACT" because we might see Bitcoin going down even more.

Only my opinion though, but I don't expect Bitcoin reaching the $75,000 or even the $70,000 price level. Smiley

@retreat. I very much agree hehe. It would be very headshaking if someone would keep announcing that $75k and higher would happen for this month. These types of very bullish people in social media might only be using their followers as exit liquidity or they are not living in reality.

Price is $55,300 already heheheheh.

On MtGox, 47,229 bitcoin has moved from cold storage. This will certainly add to the present fear being felt by everyone in the cryptospace hehehehe.

Really grim days so far, I don't even know whether to make reentry again after cutting some loss at this point I just gonna wait until the waves passes first.

seriously though, those Mt.Gox, Ftx really does put some pressure in the market sentiment, honestly if they can just dump it, just dump it man, make it faster, this prolonging and seeing this news appear constantly in media outlet kinda making me stressing  Grin.

pretty sure this german's dumping also getting amplified by the fear surrounding mtgox and ftx news of dumping as well, so the market choose to take out their buy order.

VanEck, one of the first issuers of spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) in the United States, has filed for a new Solana ETF.

Matthew Sigel, head of digital assets research at VanEck, took to X on June 27 to announce that the firm has filed for a Solana ETF with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

The new fund, called the VanEck Solana Trust, aims to capitalize on Solana’s decentralized nature, high utility and economic feasibility, Sigel said. According to the executive, the trust is the first filing for a Solana ETF in the United States.

Everyone is optimistic about BTC that the price will go higher and BTC will go higher, but given the current market situation, it seems difficult to say. The market has come down further and July is here. I don't think we will be able to do $75k by July, yes, it can be said that the price will be crossed by the end of this year, it is a good time and I have already started DCA some time ago. Those who are just starting or have done DCA will hopefully be in profit by the end of the year but for now, I don't see BTC going up.

One of the main reasons why I say this is because you may have seen that Bitcoin went below $60k and is still trying to stabilize at  $61k. So, it doesn't look like in 15 days to a month, the coin will close at $75k.

By July, Bitcoin had dropped by nearly a third of what it had been in the previous few months, and currently stands at $55,000. However, the price may rise in July but it is not sure whether the price will cross $75,000, but there is a possibility that Bitcoin will cross $65,000. However, many are predicting that if Bitcoin breaks below the $50,000 support line, Bitcoin may go below $45,000.

Not very optimistic that Bitcoin can pass 75k USD this month, considering that there is nothing positive enough to push Bitcoin past its ATH. Even if you look at the current price of Bitcoin, if it can pass 65k that would already be a very good thing for Bitcoin which is currently at 57k USD. But there's no need to worry that Bitcoin will continue to be at this point - if you can, doing DCA is a pretty good thing for now.
$75k for this month may not be highly reachable for bitcoin most especially if the current trend will continue for the rest of July. However, everything can change with just a blink of an eye, that’s how surprising bitcoin is. It may even go above with the target price, who knows? But as per observation as of today, I don’t think reaching $75k will be somewhat easier. If bitcoin price will eventually drop drastically, I guess instead of $75k, we will end up this month probably below $40k, something that new investors will have a very good opportunity to enter the market and invest.
