The real meaning of HODL is that you keep your BTC for a few years and not be a wimp about it because we are in a bear market which isnt the first one either.

I am fully suffering from holding my bitcoin and Ethereum. Because I already hold 100 Ethereum and 40 BTC when bitcoin and Ethereum prices at high and respectively $9500 & $480

Even if for several years we will not see the growth of bitcoin price it does not mean that he died. If you consider bitcoin only as a tool for making a profit, then you can sell your bitcoin now and leave this market. It is not necessary to spread the negative and mislead people.

Bitcoin do not need to have a real use in the angle you are thinking. Bitcoin is a peer to peer financial system, bitcoin is a digital money that enable global financial transaction without third party. That purpose bitcoin is rendering alone is enough.

Most victims are those who doesn't know anything about the crypto market and because of the hype that someone told them. And yet there are still here waiting for the market to go up.

Good thing that admins should lessen some users to have some reference if things should undergone some modifications or not. In this way the forum could have a betterment when it comes to its features. The users are probably has a wide roles in the modification of the system basing on their experience  here in the forum.

Well if admin is dumb in implementing KYC then one could get compromise with their bitcoin holdings but they aren't. So the admin knows how to do it and and will have a good balance of this forum. Your crypto holdings should be disclose together with your wallet address. The only thing that the forum needs is to bend some features like anonymity. This is really where the problem start since there are only few users here that are actually owning a single account in the forum. Besides many of the users are using the forum to scam other users how about that? So, this is why we had been some negative feedbacks outside of this forum and that is really not good if we are trying to elevate the morale of this forum. The lesser scam activities, the better forum this will be.

"Reality Check" - forum has a lot of ICO projects introduce and only few of it are real in their words because other projects are relatively scam that reach to almost 90% of the total number of the ICO projects are scam though I could not make a statistics and claim for this statement however you can read and research on google about this. Some countries are denying already cryptocurrency and declaring bitcoin, XRP, ETH and other good crypto as illegal for again it has no real use and does not even integrated into the businesses. I just thought only that it could be good but no one has ever like to do it.

I adhere other users in their principles about bitcoin but let us be honest with ourselves that we are all here because we want to gain learnings and earn profit. If it was not for the profit probably many will left in this forum. Just like the way I did. I never leave the forum for I wanted also to learn more and earn by promoting ICO projects. Investing for now would not be good and that is how I fee and probably other investors would feel also.

Hodl is always the only option .

If this kyc thing comes in, it’ll be good to know who we have to chase with the thousands+ of bitcoin . Do we reckon there’ll be identity theft on chain to hide ones identity... you bet!

It won't be easy to implement kyc on something that is decentralised But there are victims of hodling as they should have cashed out a few weeks ago. Now it is too late, hodl is the only option

This "victim" mentality is really pathetic. Did anyone hold a gun to your or anyone else's head to make you buy bitcoins? Did anyone force you to sell your bitcoins prematurely? You only become a victim, if you are forced to do something, not when you use your own common sense or just pure logic to do something.

What about the millions of people who made a ton of money during 2017? What about the millions of people who are using bitcoins daily to send money home to their family and who are paying less than $1 in fees, no matter what the amount is.   Are they all victims?

This forum has been generating income for 1000s of people, who might not have any other way to generate an income. So stop blaming other people for your mistakes.  

SFYL. i love seeing these "bitcoin is dead" posts deep into a bear market like this. the denial and hope is long gone and those who came to get rich quick are either fearful or already sold out of the market.

I am one of the victims of the word hold. because I always think that holding for the long term is more profitable. it actually hurts. even now I have sold the assets that I have ..

i never fell for the word HODL, it was for me from the beginning a fraud, that will end badly.

And it still is since we have at least 14 days to invest in it

Take some personal responsibility.  It's up to you when you buy and when you sell.  Don't blame everyone and everything else because you didn't get it right.

You can complain about ICOs and scams if you like.  But if you can't see that handing over money to complete strangers on the internet for a bunch of half-baked ideas isn't very sensible, you're probably playing the wrong game.  I've only ever bought coins that were already being actively traded and appeared to have sound fundamentals.  I made sure I knew what I was getting into.  That strategy has served me reasonably well so far.  If you listened to someone who told you that buying an unfinished shitcoin based on some marketing gimmickry would be profitable, why not learn something from that mistake and do better next time?

Also, Bitcoin introducing KYC would result in the fastest drop in price yet.  I'd dump mine in a heartbeat if we went down that route (and I suspect I wouldn't be the only one).  If you're going to come up with suggestions, at least think them through to conclusion.

Uggg stop rubbing it in I tried to buy howeycoins and they wouldn't take my money, just kept teaching me about scams.


I wonder who that one is, might even be nice if someone behind this forum appeared here; I'm sure you'd notice. Wish they hadn't used all their power to tank the market just to enjoy a holiday only like 35% of the population celebrates.
