That is an unique idea, I haven't heard of it before. The city must be very proud on having two of their inhabitants building a successful company. I'm actually wondering how they're going to build the statue, a chain with blocks inside them perhaps? Please, update this thread with pictures when the statue is finally there.

Article is not in english, but here in Slovenia when they renovate old classical crossroads into roundabouts they usually place something in the middle. Some really unusual stuff like a boat or an old sleigh to pull logs from the forest or a mammoth ( since was found there), ...
So now there will be in center of one a blockchain statue. This roundabout is in Kranj city where Bitstamp founders are from. Oh and courthouse is just beside
