didn't expect I'd have to wire the barrelplugs?!?!
outside (sleeve) barrelplug = -V = black or white wire
inside barrelplug = +V = red wire
is that correct?
do you have to solder those connections + shrinkplastic ?

No need to solder, just a twist up to attach and reattach the plastic sleeve. thats how we've got them anyway

It's so big I can't get it through the tiny holes in the barrelplugs.

Have you tried tracking it with your country postal tracking, not Royal Mail, should give you clearer info.
