Great campaign, I saw some social media users have even posted their mask-weared photos in real life. Using the avatar will be great contribution for fighting against Coronavirus. Maybe I will join in few hours with my Twitter account too.

Nah, the people behind are also taking advantage of the Covid-19 situation and riding the hype to mask their intention. This is just a marketing ploy on their end to push their token. No difference from scammers and hackers posting Covid-19 related websites but the intention is to steal our money. If they really wanted to help, no one to used their token, just give money as form of donations, simply as that.

To boldly go where no rabbit has gone before...
Personally, I bought a 3d printer with BTC about a year ago. Since the pandemic started, i've been buying PETG with crypto and printing face shields and donating them to the local hospital.
Does that count?

Donations aren't the only ways that crypto can directly help in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic. Don't get me wrong, donations help. However, I think that the biggest way is that Crypto facilitates fund transfers. Currently, one cannot goto banks for anything – so without internet banking, people actually do any transfers at this time. Also, the current financial technologies can't scale up in a pandemic like this. Just a few days ago, a payment gateway advised its customers not to use their cards as they can't process reversals at this times.

Thanks to Bitcoin, Altcoins and the Cryptosphere, anyone can sell money to anyone, anywhere in the world.

Cryptocurrency projects are doing that possible best to joining effort in fighting this common enemy that threatens humanity. Binance made some good donations, and some others are on the forefront on sensitizing their various community. There is a project called Shengworld which produced some immune booster product that can help the body resist this disease.

There are a lot of similar projects, it's hard to say which one really works.
Indeed, according to one of the data, immunomodulating drugs, if used improperly, can disrupt the immune system and cause it to attack its own cells.
It is best to donate money to vaccine development organizations and those that are struggling with the effects of the epidemic.

The help anyone can do for the fight against covid19 must be staying within home and even on coming into street maintaining the social distance the along with wearing mask and cloves. I'm not finding anything special that crypto world can do anything in terms of contribution for fighting against this covid but they can contribute in financial way. That will be more than enough what most of the governments are expecting right now.

I believe collecting relief funds will not be a big task in any crypto community and the most of the countries are looking for medical equipment and medical assistance which are possible when they are able to spend more money. So, just contributing in terms of finance will be more than enough in my opinion.

There are plenty of shortcoming that exposed with this outbreak which blockchain technology and cryptocurrency can solve.
Cash is considerd one of the large culprit for transmission of the virus.
The lock-down essential broke our supply chains which could have been easily managed using blockchains.
Tracing of patient and keeping their medical and travel history too would have been easier with blockchain technology.

Compare rates on different exchanges & swap.
Well, I wish only real crypto organizations are doing this. Seems these are indirectly promoting their companies in the process. So, it is not really a selfless donation in my opinion. A donation should be made without expecting anything selfish in return.
Some donate to be seen, admired, respected, etc. We should be donating in secret and not expecting sometimes "selfish" in return...That is true sacrifice!

I just feel like this trend we're heading to is very sad, stupid and terrible. We're following a path where in the end we'll have no more personality, no more warm family relationships (no hugs, no kisses, not even handshakes) etc. This will affect us permanently, especially the 5-10yo kids.

Let's be completely honest now - how does this trend really help us at all? First of all, someone who has a mask wears it uselessly if they don't respect the basics of wearing a mask. I swear, 6-8 out of 10 touch the mask while wearing it. Many are taking it off when talking, some don't even put it on their face properly. I'll underline once again the lack of education which leads to all of these. In Romania we have ads created by the government for tips on how to protect against the virus but we have never seen an official advertisement about how to properly wash your hands and wear a mask. I have just found out about 2 months ago that the way I wash my hands and I thought a mask should be wore were completely wrong.

The "wear a mask and snap a selfie with it on!" trend is terrible imo. Countries are starting to make mask wearing mandatory, what is this leading to? What does this trend help me or anyone else with?
I'm very aware of the fact that many people are not respecting the basic rules of this pandemic, but I think we're starting to kinda exaggerate.. maybe a bit too much..

Just my opinion. Feel free to disagree with me. I'd be 101% for these measures if I knew they'd only affect us now and not in the future too. But think realistically & logically for a bit - they'll affect & change us forever. Politics are going to be different. The way we buy things. The way we socialize. The meaning of entertainment. The way we see nature. The way we love. Everything.

Recently, TokenPocket has hosted a WeWearMask event to call on the community's joint effort in the fight against the Corona virus.
https://twitter.com/TokenPocket_TP/status/1246791435103293441
The participants will be prized with a  total of $2,300 and more. I think this is a good move to set up an example of how the crypto world can help to stop the virus. More projects should be doing this as well.
In my opinion, the best way for the crypto-industry players to help fight the COVID-19 pandemic is to donate any available resources to help buy, the necessary equipment and gears (PPE's) to our front-liners, as we can see on the news everywhere that the equipment (PPE's) shortage is happening around the globe if all the crypto-currency based companies were able to donate any available resources I'm sure it will help a lot for our fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.

I don't see anything great in this campaign. It is just another way to market their own token using the pandemic we are facing right now. Changing avatar with mask, is not gonna bring any change in people's. If they really want to help people in this difficult time, they should be donating masks to the poor people for every retweet made by the community. That would have been a better contribution towards the society.

Crypto world is really doing something with regards to the pandemic. Binance for one has a charity program which donates $1 million already.

And regarding your questions, I guess the best way is to donate on organizations that accepts crypto. Just be careful though, there are a lot of fake websites that impersonates charitable institutions.
Donating is what we can do right now to help the frontliners and the health workers who are working to prevent and cure the people who have COVID-19 but we should be smart especially if we will donate cryptocurrencies because there are many con artist out there who seems an organization who will help the frontliners but the truth is they are scammers. Before we donate we should be sure that it is a trusted organization or individual who will help the frontliners.

This is a great campaign initiation on their part and they're encouraging people to wear mask. That's a good reminder because, despite lockdown, there are people who are still insisting not to wear a mask. A reminder that can greatly be seen by Twitter users and that's how they can contribute to fight against covid19.

World Health Organization told that mask is not needed for everyone and they only insisted social distancing to reduce the demand for mask but recently they told its better to wear mask by everyone whenever they go outside that maybe the reason why many people confused about wearing masks.
