That can definitely affect the cryptocurrency market. The advertisements have a great impact on the audience especially if it is given by some famous celebrity. Obviously people become interested in listening to such ad. This might not increase adoption greatly but will surely give a boost to the adoption of the market. Nonetheless it can increase the awareness about cryptocurrencies.

Celebrities are a big help to spread the word about cryptocurrency. Celebrities that has a huge following would likely reach more audience compared to hundreds of people that has only hundreds of following. Celebrities has the ability to convince their fans to use or try a product so if a team would like to make their project famous instantly then a celebrity would be the best option since with just one tweet or post, it can reach millions of people and of course those who has no idea about it would try to know what it is.

Looks like you don't know what celebrity means based form your post. Senator Manny Pacquiao's last fight in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia where he won a title again, there you can see at the corner of the ring GCOX or Global Crypto Offering Exchange. GCOX signed Senator Manny Pacquiao last March 2018 as their first celebrity endorser.

It is about their name and the popularity of the celebrities that attract more people to get into that cryptocurrency. But, it is not always about the celebrity or a popular or an iconic person that is there, it is about the project itself if it is worth it and if there is a problem that is trying to solve by the cryptocurrency.

Indeed. If you check the history of other celebrities who became involved in cryptocurrencies, it just turn to out to be not good. The Centra which is endorsed by Mayweather are now facing file cases because of the false advertisements they made to attract many investors.

Maybe they give a booster but still it's on investor choice and decision. Or maybe this celebrities want to try to earn in crypto that's why they connect to some project and invest there. What ever it is they have impact to people because they are celebrities.
