This said event happened when India was playing the 50 overs World Cup and Hardik was unfit to play due to his injury. While everyone was praying for him to get well and join the team, he was busy with his agenda. There is nothing to go after the money, fame, and position, what is wrong here is how he did all of it to get what he has achieved. If the MI team agreed to all his demands then they might have asked something from him in exchange.

The bilateral ODI series between India and South Africa will start today under the captaincy of KL Rahul. He has been the captain of the Indian team in the past which did not work out well. If he can win this series then his prospects of becoming the permanent captain for the 50 format will be high.

Yesterday the decision was made by the MI management and soon after Bhumrah left a cryptic message on his Instagram. Later on today, SKY did the same, the both had shared a broken heart emoji. Whatever long term plan the MI management has, they will still not be able to beat CSK record or CSK unless Dhoni steps down. Next season too, he would be the captain of CSK, this guy doesn't seem to stop.

BTW, both jersey number 10 of Sachin Tendulkar and 7 of MS Dhoni has been retired by the BCCI. A great homage paid by the BCCI to these two legends of Indian cricket.

Replacing him as a captain doesn't make any sense. Did CSK change their captain at all? Dhoni has been the captain from the day CSK was formed.

I do not know whether he will be playing or not in the IPL or the T20WC. There is one thing I am sure of after seeing a few wicketkeepers/batters playing in his position that he will face fierce competition to get back his place in the team. The names of those players with whom he has to compete are KL Rahul, Ishan Kishan, and this new guy Jitesh Sharma. After the injury it would take some time for him to gain his form and his physical abilities, he got his right leg injured badly if I remember correctly. A keeper/batter needs his leg and if you are a left-hander then you rely a lot on your right leg for footwork.

I highly doubt he would get a chance in the World Cup, he might get back to IPL but that is a gray area for us to discuss unless an official statement comes from the BCCI. Till then we need to stop speculating about him being a part of the team or not. No one is to be blamed for his injury as it was his recklessness that got him in his situation and I did say it in on another thread it would not be easy for him to make a comeback.

Yea, Rahul is likely going to be playing anyway due to his experience, but Jitesh Sharma is also a good choice aside from Ishan. Honestly, he only lacks experience otherwise he can be destructive at end overs. He has ability to hit moment he comes to the crease, his hit wicket was unfortunate out in last game, I understand few deliveries were remaining but still.

Much will depend on IPL performances indeed.

Finally India was able to level the T20 series after losing the toss. SKY score of 100 runs helped the Indian team to get a score of 201 runs. Jaiswal contributed 60 runs to the scoreboard with his impressive batting.

The player who did the most damage yesterday was Kuldeep Yadav. He took 5 wickets and three out of the five were clean bowled. Nest destination is the ODI series starting from the 17th of this month.

He is not asking anything wrong here, he did play wonderful down the order. The problem is that the same position is being asked by other batter, the management needs to choose the right person. The best person at the position for me is Rinku as he has the ability to come on the ground and hit the ball out of the boundary. Pant, I am doubtful that he would be part of the final 11 as he has not played in any international games for some time now. I am not sure whether he will be playing in the IPL as nothing has come out in the news till now.

Pant less likely to make it to the next year WC squad unless he did extraordinary in IPL which is less likely to possible after a long break from injury. Rishab Panth is still in the recovering phase after he got injured due to the accident. Shubham Gill is still struggling after he got infected by dengue. These guys need time to recover, they still portray that they are healthy because of the numeration in fiat from BCCI.

They are young and they know it would be sometime before they can get secured place in the team. They still are insecure as they have a lot of competitors questioning them and this is what I admire BCCI. They have made what no one expected, an eagerness to be part of the playing 11.

SKY is confirmed already, Rinku don't know if he will be part of the playing squad. He should be given an opportunity to represent India in the wolrd cup. I do feel K L Rahul will be part of the team after his keeping and good knock in the world cup. I still doubt Kohli as he is a good 50 overs and test player but struggles in T20 format. Bhumrah if he stays fit, Shami and Shiraz would be the pa e attack optional should be Mukesh if anyone gets injured.

The last match of the T20 series will be played today and it won't rain as per the weather channel. A rain delay is okay for a cricket fan but a game getting abandoned due to rain is bad and if it gets interrupted then the team batting second always has an upper edge. In the last match, I was listening to the commentators and they did say a target of 170 and above is good to defend for India. Due to DLS, the target was slashed the pitch condition was changed and India lost the match. It is crucial for India to win today if they want the series to leveled.

Left arm swing bowlers are rare breeds, so I would still back Arshdeep but he needs some kind of guidance about his line and length that is where he is lacking in the recent days, but he did pretty well when defending few runs in the final overs of IPL. Out of the new players in this new Indian team I think most of them won't be part of the final squad. Mukesh has been bowling very good in the previous and the ongoing series. I think he might replace Arshdeep. I was expecting good batting from Jaiswal but he seems to be inconsistent constantly. That is not a good sign if a batter is looking to cement his place in the main squad. There already a lot of competition happening between batters to take the 5th position, to add to that competition we now have Rinku Singh. I do feel he should be given a chance to bat up the order, he has shown great improvement in his batting capabilities.
