BITDEPOSITARY - Make ICO's , More Secure
Of course, this has an impact on the price of Bitcoin. But is this news true? Or one FUD to frighten people. We need to be prepared and be patient because in case of bitcoins fall we will not panic. As long as we can just HODL! I'm sure that the price of bitcoins will rise again.

I think that India is not a big contributor to bitcoin like China or Japan to influence its price. But unfortunately this news was zoomed big by the FUD spreaders due to which it contributed a little to the price fall.

Indian finance minister has just said that bitcoin is not a legal tender. That's it.

Indian government has been discussing in this regard and had already formed a committee to submit its recommendations regarding crypto currencies. It seems that it may soon regulate crypto currencies.

This is a fake news - India simply has declared that Bitcoin has no legal value there. Other countries have exactly the same position. Media reported that as FUD - and it worked if we look at the market today...

India just BANNED Bitcoin? Will BTC now crash?
it will not be a problem if bitcoin is banned in india, you do not worry and panic sell. because the bitcoin price will be high and the price reduction is temporary when the Indian government impose a ban on bitcoin. so we have to calm down

As I have read and listened India has not banned bitcoin but has made some regulations in order to protect from illegal activities, whatever this is not the first time and it won`t have to crash.

Why everytime Bitcoin and the whole market goes down, the bad news about cryptocurrencies are just flying in the air? just why? I think it’s the other way, they’re using bad news or making a black propaganda to make price go down. It succeed now because there is a big lope hole in new investors knowledge about this situation but many attempts they failed badly last year because the older investors learn they’re lesson as that days there are massive supports to strengthen or make the value higher, mostly now they want it lower to buy.
I think Bitcoin will not go down just because some country decides to block Bitcoin. For example like my country, Indonesia and India are blocked, then various other countries are also blocking. I do not think it will affect Bitcoin. Even if it brings influence, the influence that is brought is only temporary. I do not think Bitcoin can ever be completely blocked. For example, like porn sites, many countries block it, but in fact many people can easily access porn sites only with Google. Even a small child can. Same goes for Bitcoin.

Fake news can be easily spread though social media. In fact there are still there are lot people invest and support Bitcoin. Yet there are no clear declaration of India to banned Bitcoin. Maybe these are one of there tactics to crash Bitcoin.

I am sure India didn't ban it yet. The finance minister said that bitcoin is not a legal tender in India and the expert committee recommendation is currently being reviewed. That means, you can't use bitcoin for purchasing or selling of any goods or services. But they didn't mention anything about bitcoin holdings of the individual citizens. They didn't ban investment in it. I watched it live so don't fall for any useless newspaper reproducing it in their own language.

If you are holding bitcoin in India, you are not doing anything illegal. So that is not the reason for the bitcoin's downward price trend. There must be some other reason and I will appreciate if anyone can point it out.
Yes it has not been banned till now officially. Just an announcement has come from the finance minister that it is not legal for payments and yet no actions have been taken. Just some people trying to spread FUD.

Six months earlier, the indian government formed a committee to give its suggestions regarding legalizing virtual currencies.Hope that its report has not been yet submitted to the government and the finance minister is just waiting for the committee's report to proceed further.

First crypto index traded as a token!
All kinds of bad news and rumours are spread these, on purpose, just to create FUD to make the price decline. The news about India banning bitcoin is not really the real fact, they are looking for possibilities to regulate cryptocurrencies. This together with the tether issue, is spread at the same time that exchanges were hacked and big merchants ending bitcoin payments. Now that the price has declined, those who are responsible for all this, will be buying large amounts of bitcoin again.

I have not heard anything about the ban, and I think that this is not a fall, but an adjustment before a jump

All are firm trick, they keep on shouting ban of bitcoin and majority financial services and institutions are keen into it everyday. The reality is it has being proven that it will definitely affect central banks and it subsidiaries if majority and individuals use digital currency rather than fiat note.

There was a lot of fake news today all over the media about the ban of cryptocurrencies in India when the budget was announced ,the market certainly dipped after the news ,but i am not sure whether the market went down because of this news or not because i have not seen exchanges in India pulling big numbers like China or Korea when it comes to volume ,so a real ban must not pull the market down, either way from what i heard there is no ban as they are talking about illegal funds being squashed and cointelegrah came up with a article relating to that.

so suspicious of the "..Bans bitcoin" headlines. Reuters and RT both got it wrong before.. they don't apply same high journalistic standards to crypto- its a weird niche and institutions are happy to mess with it
