Punjab Kings are batting against CSK in the fight to go to number four in the points table. Punjab Kings need 25 runs off 15 balls to win.

Batting first against Punjab Kings, CSK managed to accumulate 200 runs for four wickets in the allotted 20 overs. In other words, CSK scored ten runs per over against Punjab Kings. The game is almost over. Since Punjab Kings need only 25 runs to win and there are two power hitting batsmen in the wicket, it can be said that the result of this match will go in favor of Punjab Kings.

Gaikwad not too good with the bat and and score 37 runs with 31 balls but Conway did well job and smashed Punjab bowlers. he scored 92 off 52. Unfortunately he did not hit century and only 8 runs short to hit but team will really appreciate his today batting. Dhoni smashed 2 sixes and now Punjab have to score 201 to win this match.

This run chasing will be tough for Punjab batsmen. although They scored two hundred plus in previous game but situation here will be different because CSK bowler will try their best to pick up some wickets and restrict Punjab.

Gujarat Titans have been able to maintain their consistency. Like the previous matches, Gujarat's performance in this match was very good. Gujarat's bowlers managed to restrict the Kolkata team to just 179 runs. Josh Little and Noor Ahmed's bowling was excellent. These two bowlers gave 25 and 21 runs respectively and took two wickets each. Also, Mohammad Shami managed to pick up 3 wickets. Due to the controlled bowling of these three bowlers, Kolkata's innings stopped at 179 runs.

The Gujarat team reached the target of victory in 17.5 overs on the brilliant batting of Vijay Shankar and David Miller. Vijay was unbeaten on 51 runs and Miller on 32 runs. Also Shubman Gill managed to collect 49 runs and Hardik Pandya 26 runs.

Gujarat is now at the top of the points table after winning 6 out of 8 matches. Gujarat is likely to secure the next round from the top of the points table.

Gujrat Titans win by 7 wickets and 13 balls remaining. GT won because of Vijay Shankar outstanding 51-run innings in 25 balls and Joshua Little 2 wickets for just 25 runs. The player of the match is Joshua Little for his amazing match winner performance.GT are strong contenders for the IPL crown thanks to their remarkable season long play. From KKR R. Gurbaz made a powerful knock of 81 runs in just 39 balls in a thrilling match. congratulate GT on their well deserved victory and wish them luck in the forth coming matches.

We have two matches yesterday, in the first game ahmanullah Gurbaz 81 runs on 39 balls went in vein as GT beat KKR in an easy run chase. GT is very new to IPL but under the captaincy of Hardik Pandya they are doing good. GT were 2022 IPL winner and they are also at number one position so far.
The second game between SRH and DC has not much impact on IPL points table. As DC are at number last and retain the lost spot after this loss while SRH is at number 8.

Sunrisers Hyderabad won this match. They proved to be a better team than the Delhi Capitals. Sunrisers Hyderabad scored 197 run batting first and it was the highest total on this ground. The opener Abhishek Sharma scored 67 runs in only 36 balls. Later in the innings Heinrich Klaasen also scored quick 50+ runs which helped Sunrisers Hyderabad to get a good defendable score.

Delhi Capitals batted well to reach to 188 runs on this wicket but failed to chase the total of 198 runs. At one moment i thought  that Delhi Capitals may take this game but when Phil Salt and Mitchell Marsh was out, the chances were less for the DC.

Delhi Capitals' performance has been very disappointing this season. Their batsmen batting is very weak. Warner performed brilliantly in the first few matches. He has batted well in every match. But his strike rate was very low. But now Delhi's overall performance is very poor. Both the batting and bowling performance of their players is not good. Delhi was able to fight against Sunrisers Hyderabad only because of Mitchell Marsh's performance. He managed to pick up 4 wickets as well as batting well. He was able to collect 63 runs. Besides, no other batsmen on the team can play big innings.

When Salt and Marsh were playing, I thought DC would win easily but their fall and dc gone. Literally useless batters except akshar and three foreign players (warner, salt, marsh). Same happens with RCB, even if they reach play-offs they won't be able to win trophy because of their dependency.

Gujarat batsmen did not face any problems to win this match. I knew Kolkata's bowling lineup was weak. Still, I expected Kolkata to win as Kolkata has some talented batsmen in their squad. But the team was defeated in this match due to the batsmen's performance not being good. While the two openers played reasonably well, the team's middle-order performance was abysmal. If any of the batsmen in the middle order performed well, Kolkata could have at least given the target of 200. A mere 179 against a strong team like Gujarat was not enough to win. Gujarat won this match quite easily.

I think it is almost impossible for KKR and Delhi Capitals to secure playoffs now. The performance of these two teams is very poor. The overall condition of their team is not very good. I consider Gujarat, Rajasthan, and Chennai as favorites for the playoffs. The performances of these three teams are now quite strong and consistent. They lost quite a few matches but by a very narrow margin. LSG is a strong team but I don't consider this team as favorite as this team's performance is very erratic.
Bengaluru and Punjab are still likely to be in the top four of the table. Then of course their performance needs consistency. If the performance is not stable they will not be able to climb to the top of the table.

179 was not enough for Kolkata to win against Gujarat Titans.  Gujarat Titans won this in just 17 overs. By winning this match, Kolkata had a chance to make it to the playoffs but Kolkata missed that opportunity and now it is very difficult for Kolkata to secure the playoffs. Because so far Kolkata have played maximum number of matches. nine matches already where they have won only three matches. They have only five matches left.  Out of five matches, four matches will be very challenging for them as their opponents for four matches are very strong. 

Punjab Kings, Rajasthan Royals, Lucknow Super Giants, Chennai Super Kings these four teams are in a very good position in the points table and their performances are also very good. Considering these statistics, it can be assumed that KKR's playoff is almost certain.

Apart from Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Russel, none of the batsmen in the team can play well. I think Venkatesh Iyer is one of the most experienced batsmen in the Kolkata team. He scored only 11 runs off 14 balls. Iyer's strike rate was probably less than 100 in the last match as well. We don't expect such a silly performance from an experienced batsman like Iyer.
Moreover, Gujarat's batting line-up is very strong. A target of at least 200 runs was required to win against them. It is almost impossible to beat Gujarat with a target of just 180 runs. Moreover, the performance of the Kolkata bowlers was also poor.

Undoubtedly, Kolkata Knight Riders is a good team and they have performed well in the past IPLs to become champions and runners-up. But one of the main reasons for their seven-wicket loss to Gujarat Titans in yesterday's match was Kolkata's failure to bat well towards the end.
One of the team's two batsmen Venkatesh Iyer 11 (14 ball) and Rinku Singh 19 (20 ball) they basically batted like six overs and collected only 30 runs. This is where one of the main reasons for Kolkata Knight Riders defeat can be considered. Moreover, the bowling performance of Kolkata Knight Riders in yesterday's match was not worth watching. Kolkata's bowling department could not create much pressure on Gujarat Titans' batsmen. This can also be considered as one of the main reasons for the defeat in tomorrow's match.

Gujarat played well and they won the match in a much comfortable way. The poor bowling from Kolkata Knight Riders is the reason. 179 runs is a good target, atleast KKR should've tried to end the match at the last over. The team is quite strong and every player used to contribute, even in the match against KKR it is possible to see the score coming from each an every player starting from the opener. Some fortune need to happen for other teams, if not this season of IPL is gonna be lifted by Gujarat Titans.

Simple mistake from DC today I think was sending Axar in too late. Axar Patel is the star player they have right now. He is one of the best all rounders of India right now let alone DC. I don't know what's the point sending him after Sarfaraz or Priyam Garg. You have to know what's the demand of the situation in every match, otherwise you'll end up making such decisions. I think he should become a permanent number 5 spot holder for DC unless there's a quick fall of the top order.
