Kolkata Knight Riders could not score too many runs in today's match, only giving a target of 170 runs to Mumbai Indians. But if KKR could have kept wickets from the start then maybe 200 plus runs would have been possible, but even this score of 169 runs is likely enough to win. Venkatesh Iyer scored good runs for the Kolkata team, he scored 70 runs off 52 balls he would have reached a century if he had not got out. However, as Mumbai Indians are batting at the moment, comparatively their bowling performance is not as good as their batting performance. At the moment, however, they have lost four crucial wickets and have been comparatively underwhelming, scoring just 70 runs in 10 overs. Still, Mumbai Indians have to collect 103 from 60 balls to reach the target of victory, it is a very tough challenge.
Once scoring 200 takes lot of excellence but now it became a joke cause it's just an everyday incident.
Anyway for the last few matches the classic IPL template came back or atleast bowlers is having something that assist them, even today the initial swing took the early wickets but MI batters didn't assist to the conditions either after watching the whole 1st innings.
SKY is on the crease that keeps the hope alive but I am expecting another exciting match today, can it go to the last over's last ball.
