Both the batting and bowling performance of Chennai Super Kings against Sunrise Hyderabad in yesterday's match was not that good. Because the bowling line of Hyderabad is not very good but they bowled very well against Chennai Super Kings. Chennai Super Kings restricted the team to just 165 runs. Sunrise Hyderabad's batsmen did not have much trouble in getting the win after coming down to bat against the target of 166 runs given by Chennai Super Kings. Sunrise Hyderabad easily won against Chennai Super Kings.

Chennai Super Kings team's batting performance has been weak as they have performed well in past matches but they have not performed well against Sunrise Hyderabad team. Chennai Super Kings team scored 165 runs, this 165 runs was enough to win but bowling performance needs to improve. But said Chennai Super Kings team failed in terms of performance, although the game would have been full of competition but mainly the gap was created from Mukesh Chowdhury. Chennai Super Kings batsmen could not perform well. Chennai eventually collected 165 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in the stipulated over. Chennai set a target of 166 which is not enough to win. Sunrisers Hyderabad scored 78 runs in the powerplay after going into bat to win. Abhishek Sharma batted brilliantly, he scored 37 runs off 12 balls with a strike rate of 300+. However, so far Sunrisers Hyderabad have collected 118 runs for the loss of 2 wickets in 12 overs. Hyderabad need 48 runs from 48 balls to win which they can win easily. Hyderabad is going to win easily today.

I would say Gujarat lost this match because of their poor bowling. Although the Gujarat bowlers could bowl well in the previous matches, the performance of the bowlers in this match was very poor. Gujarat Titans would have been able to win this match only if they could do some controlled bowling.

However, since Mustafiz is not in the team, if Moeen Ali is fielded by Chennai Super King for Chennai Super King, then to see how well Moeen Ali can perform. All the time I thought that Punjab Kings would lose this match but to my surprise, they won it at the end. It was just an unbelievable chase that I have seen in the recent IPL matches.

Shubman Gill played the best innings from the Gujarat Titans team and I was searching for who was better than him in the Punjab Kings team, but found none. Shashank Singh played an innings of 61 runs but that was not the same class as of the Shubman Gill innings. At one time, they were four wickets down for only 70 runs and then to go on making making 200 and winning the match was a real surprise for everyone.
