I can't recall ever seeing a 10 BTC peeled Cas coin for sale on forum in all these years here.

You cant. Its against Caldwell Coin Law to peel a 10BTC. Sacrilege, even  Cheesy

I just checked...142 peeled 349 active. Does make you wonder how much a peeled 10BTC would go for....

I was very pleased with the auction. I thought prices were impressive for the older coins. for the new coins; what do you expect for coins a year old. there were more than 130 coins up for auction. In years to come, coins in auction will become less and less as they find permanent homes. Which in turn will mean prices continue to rise. Over the last couple years I have seen a steady gradual rise in everything physical. I am excited for the future and see no reason why physical bitcoin doesn't continue to grow. Hold fast gentlemen. you hold the greatest collectables on the planet

I purchased several item. Prices seemed really reasonable especially for a lot of the less expensive lots. The 20% premium hurts a bit but was worth it considering the overall prices.

The Stone the masons rejected was the cornerstone.
Would love to see a 10BTC Casascius go for auction there....loaded and unloaded.

I bought the CryptoImperator Magic Internet Money Wizard coin. I have been wanting that coin forever and finally decided to pull the trigger

A great coin at a really good price here.

I ended up buying a number of coins in this auction.

It was a buyers night not so much a sellers night.

Some of the best deals were in the Litecoin category IMO. Some of these rare 2013 pieces were going for near load value.

I was not impressed by the pricing of this auction.

A great night for buyers, a horrendous night for consigners.

Its as if nobody cares about this market. Its deeply bothersome.

Looks like I have a ways to go in understanding the market.  I grabbed 5 total coins but none that I targeted due to what I thought was a large premium.

Would have been interested in the blue graded Btcc poker chip but wasn't able to bet. Had 15 minutes to watch the youtube auction during work break. This chip went for 1050$. In the sales list it's declared for 1260$...do they take 20% commission?

Dont really know what to conclude. Bonkers pricing Undecided
Zero consensus on price of premium/s....good for sellers i guess, but too volatile for functioning collectible market.
Did anyone here get involved with this Stacks Bowers auction?

PCGS has links to these auctions in their population report!!! Cool

Cool! Seems to be the same for the BTCC items graded by them

Does Stacks and Bowers accept BTC for their auctions or do they only accept monopoly fiat money?

Looks like they are accepting crypto payments as well, as they state: ''Winning bidders may also pay their invoice via BitPay for a 1% fee after authorization by Stack’s Bowers Galleries prior to the sale.''

Crypto auction starts at 5pm EST today.

I will be watching; you should be to.

Some HOLY GRAILS will hit the hammer tonight! Due to its low mintage, you don’t see a Silver BTCC coin pop up every day. First time a Casascius superbowl coin hits a major auction house as well I think? Plenty of juicy crypto rarities, I’ll certainly be watching this one!

Good luck to all of you bidding tonight  Cool

I have been watching these since the first PCGS MS70 Lealana .1 Buyer Funded Black was sold. It seems like each auction has a "coming out party" for a different creator. Lealana and Casascius were immediately accepted, then BTCC and Satori, then Moonbits. It feels like this might be CryptoImperator's introductory moment. They haven't done well publicly so far and PCGS has rejected grading them. This auction might change all of that. I'm not sure who submitted the CI coins to this particular auction but they probably are going to be happy.
