While technically it’s 1/1, I see it more as 1/4. I’ll be surprised if it goes for much more over $500-600. It’s not visually appealing to me, so I won’t be bidding. Good luck to those who do!

Regards,
Chris

I'm out as well. Good luck

I personally enjoy the hunt as much as the find.  I have only seen a few items flipped but, for the most part the highly sought after rare ones have been extremely difficult to find for #83, #222, and #259.  This makes the hunt even more fun and when you find one you know you have something special.  Enjoy the hunt and most of all have some fun, price will take care of itself Smiley Smiley

I didn't realize the 222 and 259 were valuable.  I bet I have several of those laying around  Smiley

Can someone explain why 222 or 259 is related to 83?  I get they are also non-baseball cards within the 1-300 series, but the topics are very much unrelated.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Fyi. Ebay has a 10% back promotion but you have to activate it.  Go to Ebay home page

information,
Hi Chris

A case of ginter X was cracked open and based on the total of 200 cases and the amount found in 1 case, the total came to around 500 of the regular size cards.  Hope this helps, and actually the count for the mini's was revised down to 50 total.

Just to be clear... The above estimate of 500 black cards is based on the contents of a single case, correct?

Wouldn’t that mean the single case contained 2.5 black cards? (In other words, 2.5 cards per case x 200 cases = 500 cards.) How does one find .5 cards in a case? I’d think that the case owner found either 2 or 3 black cards making the estimated total quantity either 400 or 600. What am I missing?

Regards,
Chris

You would be correct, there is no half a card but, it was based on a case and some boxes and a little less than 200 cases.  I will try to be more precise when I put some numbers up, but, you would be 100% correct mathmatically.

What is the estimated number of the base card?  Is it thousands, like 10,000?

[T]he count for the mini's was revised down to 50 total.

Thanks for the info, dolphriends. Who did the revising?

Regards,
Chris

A friend in the sports card industry , not a bitcoin card fan.  Everyone is going to have to wait until official numbers come out which could be quite a wait.  Just like the glow in the dark ones, no official number was assigned by Topps.  The official number given by Topps for the ginter x black mini was 1.  We have already surpassed that.

Please allow me, gentlemen, to humbly request that we stay on topic and leave all negative personal remarks out of this thread. Many view this thread as a valuable source of information regarding these collectible cards, and off-topic remarks only tend to bury or dilute that important information, as I'm sure you'd agree.

Back on topic, I have a question about the Ginter X (black) cards.

If the Ginter X mini cards are limited to ~100 each, then how limited are the Ginter X full-size cards?

Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Chris

Stick to your imaginary currency, "little fella" LOL.

Why are you here if you're just going to shit on bitcoin? I mean, you actually registered an account here and are spending your time arguing with people on a forum based on a topic you don't care about.

Oh, I know why.  You thought you were going to sell all of your cards to us at exorbitant prices and it isn't quite working out, eh?  Sorry bout that, buddy.  Maybe if you had invested in crypto a couple years ago, you wouldn't need to milk a $ out of every potential sucker in your mind.

That's why we have the useful ignore function:)

That Aaron judge card may be worth $400 dollars!

Aaron Judge is currently on the disabled list and isn't playing.

Wont impact the value of a card a couple week injury is normal

You're aware that all Aaron Judge prices are down across the board at the moment, aren't you?

And that they'll only rebound if and when he comes back and leads the Yankees deep into the playoffs?

Check ebay sold listings...

Kind of off topic, but he goes out for 3 weeks and that effects his card prices?  So since trout is always out his cards should be effected too.  Bro a couple week injury doesnt tank a collectable price.

He's been out for 5 weeks now, "bro", and has shown no signs of improvement, given that he's just had to have another cortisone shot and still can't grip a bat due to the wrist injury. And there's now no set timetable for a return..."bro".

Have a clue before you speak.

For example, his 2017 Topps Chrome Xfractor RC Autograph numbered out of 20 is down over $100 since the injury.

And that's just one of the numerous examples of low-numbered Judge cards that are down a significant percentage since his injury.

"Bro"...lol...what a douche.

Yeah im the "douche".  I'll keep it light but the point i was trying to make was that just because someone goes on  the dl doesnt mean their card goes in the shitter forever, if that was the case then bradys cards would have went in the shitter when he got hurt in preseason one year....hmmm o no they didnt.  "Bro" why dont you calm down a quick minute just a simple internet conversation.  No need to pump your chest out little fella

Edit: ive been collecting cards for 20 some odd years, so i have "a clue".  Getting hurtt for a month doesnt hurt anyones card value, no need to be an internet hero

LOL...yeah, your decades of experience with cards are shining through, sweetheart.

You keep trying to equate Judge with the player whose rookie cards sell for the most in various sports, Trout, now Brady....but you're comparing apples to oranges. Judge will never be on the leavel of those players, hence injury WILL effect his prices realized.....and nobody said the prices would go "in the shitter" forever. Reading comprehension...take your head out of the shitter and try to exhibit some.

I know, I know, you're a Yankee homer and would gladly drop to your knees and worship Judge's bat if he asked you to, that's obvious...as is your ignorance about the card market.

Stick to your imaginary currency, "little fella" LOL.

Cool so your a red sox fan who hates bitcoin, got it. This seems like a logical place to sign up for an account for then. Relax go get some air, you seem like you have some built up anger.  Its ok its just baseball cards
