such a bullshit. You have no idea what you are talking about

tick-tock

Look I get where you are coming from.

These units do 2700 mh at 3200 watts.

they are like having 30x 3080s except the 3080s do more like 8000 watts.

I understand the jealousy.

I also understand why they show cased the gear ⚙️ and simply mined it never selling it.

The gear goes dead for eth very soon. Maybe this month.
They have shown they make a good asic unit.

I have an interest in a 8gb unit.
I want to help insure people get them from a real company.

You show zero interest in that.

Most likely you have strong gpu setup and an 8gb asic scares you.

Hey I have 3gh in gpus. All paid so do I really want asics no. but They exist  and getting a real one is in my best interest.

a shitcoiner is never scared of asics.

here's the thing, if they aren't slow those eth asics should have ROI'd with the 3090's but they are slow. that's why "tick-tock"

if a chip runs for an hour and it is okay (let alone running for months) then it means the engineering part is sorted out.

maybe they can make good stuff, but it seems timing will turn it to shit for "CuStOmErS".

LOL why don't they just wrap it up and shove it up their asses. the bullrun will end and only linzhi is the one mining with it.

don't worry when the bear market starts and when ETH mining is "not that profitable anymore", it is all yours for 10,000$$$  Grin

Work very well, but unfortunately it belong still to Linzhi, I just help them with some FW testing etc
Memory is limited and can't be increase, as it is inside the chip. But Linzhi is working on a successor with more memory
Don't know 100% myself. Seems the biggest problem is chip-supply these days. I assume they work with the existing "evaluation customers" first, than open more and more.
But that's just my guess

yes, its possible to mine ETC, ETH, QKC
CLO, EXP, ETP should also work, but testing was some time ago.
Ubiq is work in progress

If you ever get access to a 8gb model let me know.

How does your ASIC work?
Is your ASIC limited in memory or do you have the option to increase your memory to continue mining Ethereum in September?
Will these ASICs be sold on the market, or has the company decided not to sell this equipment?
Is it possible to mine Ethereum Classic on this ASIC?

you ordered at a scam site...
Why not do a 5min search in the forum before sending money  Shocked

at the current price that's over 30K in profits.  This isn't being "greedy".  It's being smart if you can get your hands on one of these machines
for less.

That was very rude to make such a comment by the OP.

That is stupid, not smart. Why should anybody sell so cheap without a reason?

this can not be stressed enough

common sense is this:

A mass seller will not undercut the market 80%
That gear should be over $15000 if it was an 8gb model

I would pay that, but I would never think to buy it for 4000 from a guy saying he will sell lots of them.

Since I know it should sell for more than 15K

It is best to ask for advice before investing, but for some reason no one does it.
This is the most important question.
I wrote above a link to only 1 fraudulent site, but how many such sites will appear on the Internet in the coming months?
Mining is profitable now, and newbies don't often ask questions.
As a rule, such questions about buying equipment with a payback of less than 1 month cause a lot of ridicule and negativity, but it's still better than losing money.

Bitmain supposedly built a god like LTC/DOGE miner the L7

L7   does 9500mh at 3450 watts cost new maybe 15000
L3+ does 500mh at 800 watts     cost used maybe 800

Someone will make a site selling l7 for a better price say 7777.77

Some fool will buy it.

To all be careful ask questions do research.

It hurts that you find your way here after throwing your money away, it would have been a different story if you ask first on this platform before sending your hard-earned money, many keeps making this mistakes over and over and I don't know why, I've never buy an ASIC before but I know that there is an official website for every ASIC and they can be bought through popular online stores as well e.g Amazon
Exactly!

This is what I always feel people should get accustomed to doing. If one is not sure about a service, website or mining gear. It's no crime coming around the forum to ask. In a community like this, Someone always knows something.

It's far better than getting scammed and then looking up the forum to report your problem because you will have already lost the money. Make no mistake, this warnings are good but "prevention is better than cure"  Wink

here's a tip, just reserve a browser tab for bitcointalk "> Alternate cryptocurrencies > Mining" people hang out and talk here, you'll learn from other people's mistake and you'll learn to not make mistakes.

Ouch! That hurts

linzhi.io is one of the sites with a high number of impersonators. Not sure why, but maybe because they haven't set up an official shop yet as per their website. Sites like https://linzhi.cn.com/ are scam as pointed out by @FP91G

The official email address of linzhi.io is [email protected]

Im sorry for your loss because your desire for quick profit blinded you to the obvious scam this was.

I followed their group in telegrams, and there was information that this ASIC will be able to mine Ethereum until a certain time in August or September 2021, because they have limited memory for DAG.
I left this group because the manufacturer decided not to sell these ASICs.
Before making a prepayment, it is better to check the information in official sources.

That was with the 4k machines.  What I thought I was ordering was an 8k machine which they were talking about extending the mining time.
Also, I gave the real factory my email address and asked them to notify me if a machine came available on the next run.

You are absolutely correct.  I was STUPID not to check with the factory first before buying.  But then again, their own web page SUCKS
so it's really hard to tell what's really going on with these machines.

I hell, I didn't even roll the dice.  I just tossed them in the trash with this stupid move.
