Every online casinos works differently, they have their advantages and disadvantages too, I don't think that fortune jack is a scam casino yet, until it's been proven to be it's an old working casino and I don't see any bad reviews like you claimed, can you share link to where you get the angry reviews? Even the crappy trust pilot still rate this casino 3.1 out of 5 and the majority of the reviews under have good experience on the casino.

The minimum withdrawal is quit high which is 150 dollars and it's still fine I believe but the chances of winning on Fortune Jack is way better than some casinos out there, most people claimed they lost money on other casinos but it's quit better on Fortune Jack, as they win from time to time, if you can spend time on the trust pilot review you will see that the fortune jack customer services are replying to peoples problem and this makes them very reliable at what they do.

Someone claimed that they deposit on the platform and won some money but was unable to withdraw their winnings, but when the customer service replied they claimed that two accounts have been identified that they tried to verify the accounts with the same documents, so they closed both the accounts.

This is one thing I hate about gamblers, they messed up badly and they will pretend as if they did nothing wrong, creating FUD about the online casino, they are mad for breaking the rules and they take it out on the platform and their team, it's a stupid and disgusting habit.

The support seems to be active, don't worry you're not getting scammed.
Don't look only at the negative reviews, you might also want to see the positive reviews while waiting for the requirements from the support. Ask yourself about your experience, is it the same as the other gambler who put negative feedback, do you consider playing again, and if FJ is a good or a bad gambling site?

snip

Thank you for that - I haven't played for a long time and then I won something I guess that is flag for them? Not sure what to say, they were not accepting Canadian phone number before and now they do. I also have a VPN but I use that for security purposes.

I just keep getting the run around lately. Hmm, I was reviewing the ask gamblers.com and the support team rarely does any action and they only do it when you open a formal complain. They gave me an ETA on when will my case is going to be reviewed.

I just don't like getting the run around.
In the meantime, wait for the result of your case. Don't think of having a problem with your case. Once your case is reviewed, they will definitely contact you if they ever need more information from you.

Have I been scammed?

No, you haven't been scammed because Fortune Jack has been active on this forum for long time and their representatives always solves the problems that arise to the users of the site. I hope that you'll also get your solution very soon, but I must say that KYC in initial days is way better then doing KYC for withdrawal purpose because most of the casinos check so many factors before completing the KYC of the users who have deposited money and now they want to withdraw the winnings.

Basing up on Fortunejacks reputation then they've been long time on this crypto gambling industry or i shall say that they are reputable and trusted already into this space.
I dont know or wasnt aware about their KYC procedure whether they would be asking out before you can play or they would really be asking once you have violated something or reaching
up some threshold. Im not aware about their KYC terms as of this moment and this is why it would really be that always ideal that you should be asking the support.
No, they arent scam, if you've been experiencing some issues then it would be always best that you should really be that trying to clear up on whats happening.
They wouldnt be holding any withdrawal if they do sees nothing on your gambling activity or you didnt reach out some withdrawal threshold.

If they have given an ETA for your ticket or case to be reviewed then you dont really have no choice but to wait up. For sure they would reach out to you on the day comes.

In regarding of using VPN. Then as long you dont live into these ff countries then you should be fine i guess.

Have you able to read up their terms in the first place?

Just inquiring about Fortune Jack, This is my first winning and the only reviews I can find are angry reviews here. Positive reviews are rarely done in my opinion.

What is the deal with KYC and Fortune Jack - I did the KYC and now they're doing a security check. I asked support what are the KYC requirements and they will send it if it is required. I would've done the KYC prior to me playing.

I know that they have been in the industry for a long time, but I have played with other crypto sites and it has been a positive experience and support was helpful.

Fortunejack are not scammers, but they have more strict policy with kyc registration than all other crypto casinos I use.
Some time ago they confiscated my coins after I refused to complete verification for low amount of coins, and their legal team took over my case.
I dont really care about those lost coins, but I will never use fj again.

That's fair. I just don't like giving the run around. And if you are nice/patient now-a-days you get taken advantage of. I want to make sure to not give me a run around or any unnecessary delays.

It's not uncommon for online casinos to have their own verification procedures. Fortune Jack is considered to be a legitimate and safe platform to use but s I remember I had a bad experience with one of their customer support way back then few years ago, well its not bad at all, just disappointed and it’s a different story, not related to KYC. Almost all crypto casinos now require users to complete the verification process so they can withdraw their winnings. The KYC requirements may vary depending on the user’s location and the amount of money they have won. Once the KYC process has already been completed, then the security check is likely a routine procedure to ensure that your account is secure.

Hmm now it's from couple of mins, to couple of hours, to right now they are closed and have to wait until tomorrow. Do you happen to know the ETA for the KYC process?

If you read the forum here, most of the time when a casino asks for KYC when you want a withdrawal they are keeping your money.

Damn, lol. it's 600 bucks and If I were them I would've milked more than that - I only deposited 199.00 lol. I would just consider that a bust.

If a casino asks for KYC, then you are in trouble. Most of the time when this happens, your money is gone. Although there is a small percentage of times that you'll get paid.

I did the KYC and passed and doing their additional security check. I did multiple KYC's in the past. But not as slow as FJ. Hmm I hope that's not true.

Thanks everyone! Yeah I am all about the KYC but just used on a quick verification with other sites.

You often hear bad reviews than good ones. Just need to be more patient I guess lol.

I didn't say anywhere that this was done by FortuneJack. If anyone can't click to view the contents of the link, then that's not my problem. I added the link so that members can see an example of harassment casinos subject to their customers when it comes to KYC verification.

Ooh, here is another one - illegal and humiliating video verification in Rollbit.com

Yikes - I have been playing with Rollbit for quite sometime and I am verified (it was a very quick process). It feels like there's unknown to require such video call. I think it is because of strict AML guidelines. I actually asked support if there's an issue if I use VPN because of different AML laws in different jurisdictions.

I would verify beforehand and also be ready for this kind of harassment. Some casinos like doing it a lot.

I believe this was done by another casino and not by Fortunejack.  This might be misleading making reader thinks that fortunejack do this kind of stuff if they just read the qouted message and not click the source of it.

FortuneJack is one of the long running casino that is announced in this forum. They even spend money for advertisement and has one of the longest running signature campaign in this forum.  I think you need to be patient for the result of your KYC.

I think it should be a normal practice to first read reviews, TOS and all other related information before using a casino and if I were a regular casino user, knowing that KYC verification is inevitable especially when you win, I would verify beforehand and also be ready for this kind of harassment. Some casinos like doing it a lot.

The "security check" is probably their standard operating procedure... please just give them sometime

Newbie should think about reading the TOS of casino so that they would not get surprise regarding on this kind of checking since this is normally happen to anywhere especially if a casino is KYC compliant one. Security checking maybe at their standard especially if they see that a user is executing his first withdrawal so maybe he should wait the decision as per other user said in this thread.

I know it sucks for undergoing this process and since this is already part of their process then maybe other users should be aware that this one exist and need to think more if they want to undergo on same process. And since he's dealing with FortuneJack a one of reputable casino here maybe he should give time regarding on this issue happened to him.

Thank you! Yeah I am sketched out with them. Support is not very supporting. It was few mins to now tomorrow. I am also not a very patient person lol. And when I saw how difficult are them to deal with (after the fact) I ran away and withdraw most of my winnings. I also read that they require Skype verification etc, I understand that if you won millions of dollars. But for 600 bucks lol, I hope it's not the case.
Most gamblers are always impatient when it comes to winning withdrawals.
About the Skype verification. Did the casino request that from you? If not ignore the rumor since we are talking about long existing casino.

Welcome mate. It is good you are here and I know you would find this place to be of great help to you as time goes on. OP you can not conclude at this instance if you have been scammed or not as long as they have told you they are  doing a security check on your account and KYC then you should give them a little time to conclude and get back to you and whatever is their reply to you would determine if they have the intentions to scam you or not but as of now I would suggest you be patient with them.

Lastly, I would also advise you follow procedures by reading the terms of service of casinos next time if you decide to engage with another so as not to get this similar experience of needing to do a kyc before withdrawal. Doing a KYC and scaling successfully before you do anything transfer of funds to such casino so as to avoid having issues with identity or regional restriction because that is what might likely come up. So to be in the safe side, one must do the KYC to be on the clear stand before making any deposit to avoid loss of funds.

You'd be hard-pressed to find positive reviews anywhere unless they were specifically asked by someone to put out their opinions. Negative reviews are the ones most likely to be shared by others after all since, well,  a casino being proven positive simply means they're doing their job properly, not exactly share-worthy.

Anyhow, as for the KYC, I reckon it's just a standard KYC check. It's actually pretty normal nowadays that they ask KYC when withdrawing (or more KYC really) compared to when registering. Try reading ToS and just look for clauses related to KYC really. As for support being awful, well, that's just customer support being customer support. Nothing new there really.

You can read positive reviews here since so far they are doing good but also if you try to visit the scam accusation section you can see some several accusation posted but they solve those legitimate issues encountered by there players. And since you are done with their request to undergo a KYC procedure then let the checking happen since once they verify your identity for sure everything will be fine including your withdrawal request with the amount you won in their casino.

Also don't conclude that you have been scam since its early to tell just wait for what decision they do since everything will be decided on what is the result of their investigation and make sure you didn't do any abuse since for sure you can get your winnings if you play with clean hands.

You can try different gambling sites, though. Every gambling site has its own rules, and as long as you are not scammed, you should be fine. You know, experience teaches us a good lesson, and we can always find a gambling site that we feel comfortable using. I have used a lot of crypto casinos, but based on my personal experience, Duelbets and Sportsbet have the best customer support; they'll reply right away. With regards to KYC, they haven't asked me to comply yet, so I'm okay with them.

100% haha I am waiting for my coins with this and idk if I will give them another chance. Support have been so awful. Duelbits is good! I like how they know what you are getting for monthly. A lot of them are getting so bad with customer service lately.

I don't think so, and you can never be too sure until they come back with a result. I have not played in a fortune jar before, but I have had experience with respect to KYC at different casinos, and in most cases, the KYC requirement differs based on the reason why the casino asked for the KYC, so you just have to give them a little time, and I believe they will get back to you if they ever need you to give them any further documents for verification.

Maybe they are just trying to do some careful checking on your document or try to check through your account if there was something fishy, which some casinos do, especially when a member wins big and they want to be sure they are paying and eligible to win and nothing more.

So you're not scammed; just be a little patient. They even have a good reputation here in the forum, and their ANN is also active here, so if anything comes up, you will always have the right to complain about any kind of ruling you are not okay with, and other members will help you look into the matter based on their experience.

If you didn't do KYC before playing in a casino that requires it and you later win before doing it because you require it before withdrawal then don't expect that the casino to speedily verify it and especially if they have something to recheck and whatnot. I just believe that should be the situation. I have not played there though but maybe you should give more time for them to get back to you. It is always better to be cleared and verified on KYC before playing.
