Early trading closure on May, 31

In relation to Memorial Day in the United States on May, 31 2020 spot contracts on metals, metals futures, and energy futures trading will be closed at 8 p.m., earlier than usual. Agricultural futures, futures for goods, and CFDs on stocks will not be traded on that day. The rest of the trading schedule remains unchanged.


Memorial Day is a federal holiday in the US for honoring and mourning the military personnel who had died while serving in the United States Armed Forces. The holiday is observed annually on the last Monday of May.

HKM Zvolen sponsored by InstaForex wins the title of Slovak champion!



InstaForex has been the general sponsor of Zvolen, one of the oldest Slovak hockey teams, for eight years. In the 2020/2021 season, Zvolen was crowned the champion of the 2020/21 Slovak ice-hockey premiership. The team has earned such a high title for the first time in 8 years. Being a sponsor of the club, InstaForex is proud of Zvolen’s remarkable achievement and efforts made to score the victory.

Zvolen is now a three-time champion of the Slovak Championship. The team won the previous two titles in the 2000/2001 and 2012/2013 seasons. Zvolen made a lot of effort to ensure this year's win. InstaForex sponsorship also made its contribution to the club’s triumph, providing all necessary equipment so that the hockey players could prepare for the championship.

The team and its fans celebrated the victory right after the Slovak ice-hockey premiership was over (the festivity lasted until 21:00 due to quarantine restrictions). Anyway, it was a remarkable event. The coaching staff rode the main streets of Zvolen in a big bus to celebrate the glorious victory together with the fans. Borussia Dortmund wins another important match, securing its place in Champions League!



We previously wrote about how Borussia Dortmund won the German Football Cup. It was a big victory not only for the German football team but also for our company as InstaForex is its regional partner. This time, we have another unprecedented achievement to celebrate - Borussia Dortmund secured its spot in the Champions League staying in the 3rd position of the German Bundesliga after 33 rounds played.

The team guaranteed its place in the Champions League after scoring in a 3-1 win at Mainz. The strongest squad of Borussia Dortmund played in the match. The team was in sync, showing incredible performance. There were only 4 shots on target by the Black and Yellows with 3 of them being goal-scoring.

The team was leading already in the first 45 minutes of the match, getting 3 goals into the opponent's gate. In the second half of the match, all they had to do was to play in defence. The opposite team scored only one goal which was not enough to change the outcome of the match.

Thus, Borussia Dortmund won 3:1, securing a place in the top three of the Bundesliga. InstaForex congratulates its partners from Dortmund on the second grand triumph in a week, wishing stunning victories to the Black and Yellows!

Borussia Dortmund win the German Cup!

On May 13, the final match of the German Football Cup between Borussia Dortmund and Leipzig took place in Berlin. Dortmund beat RB Leipzig 4-1 and won the DFB-Pokal trophy. This is also a significant event for InstaForex as our company is the regional partner of Borussia Dortmund in the CIS and Asia.

The German Cup final was very tense and spectacular. Borussia Dortmund scored the first goal against Leipzig in the fifth minute of the match. "Die Schwarzgelben" (The Black and Yellows) literally scored one goal after another. Apart from one consolation goal, Leipzig had to get the ball out of the net after each decisive goal of its rival. So, the goal in the 72nd minute of the match did not save the situation for Leipzig.

This match went down in the history of the German Cup as a competition between the youngest coaches ever to reach the final of the tournament. 38-year-old Edin Terzic managed to beat 33-year-old Julian Nagelsmann as youngest DFB-Pokal winning coach.

Dortmund has claimed the German Cup five times in total. We are sure that it will win more football cups in the future. The InstaForex team wishes the legendary German team more decisive and stunning victories.
