Who is to say that there isnt a wallet stealing program on the drive?
No one could say that.
But who stores his bitcoins on a computer nowdays?
Anyway if you store it in your computer then you shouldn't plug anything into your PC because it could be infected and could infect your PC and steal your bitcoins.

Anyway for 2$ you can just throw them on some of your friends.

Sorry to be the christmas grinch .... but I would imagine that you wouldnt be able to bank on the storage levels quoted, as being the storage levels that are actually achieveable.

So many fake usb drives out there, that will report a level of storage when connected, and will give the appearance of taking data, but are merely just adding entries to FAT tables rather than actually storing data. Ebay is rife with them, I assume Ali is as well (seeing as the ebay ones generally come from China originally).

I would go for the lowest storage quoted and save some money. If they are actually legit then you havent lost out

I imagine most want them for their collectability, rather than their capacity. Thats how this should be approached

Whoever does organise a group buy needs to give themselves a disclaimer, and those partiticipating need to accept this. Hope I am wrong though

I agree with your sentiments and think the lowest possible capacity would be the best.

I'm very weary about plugging cheap USB flash drives into my computer without it being sandboxed.  Also, I've been given 32GB labeled drives that tested to only 8GB in h2testw on multiple occasions.  Wink

With that said, the design looks great!

he he he .. true !  too many usb gear ( like usb killer or other bad usb  ) all around .... lol Smiley

I want them for their collect-ability as well. Smiley

Let me know the quality if you order.
But we can not expect for a lot for this price anyway Tongue

Sure, will do.

The quality probably wouldn't be good though. Smiley

They did not?  Angry

that sucks man!

Anyway , so we can't order different size right?
I was thinking to get biggest size possible in GB's under 5$ or something and gift it to some friends and keep some to myself

I would be interested in 10 or so... and happy to distribute for USA.

thanks Cheesy

Just found a seller that's selling these in lots of 10 for around $2.55 each.
Here's the link: https://www.alibaba.com/product-detail/2014-small-business-custom-PVC-gifts_2022344558.html

Don't think there's a need for a group buy, anymore.

If anyone wants to buy only 1-2 pieces, PM me.
Else you can buy 10 from the link above. Smiley

I guess the price will depend on the internal space.
Capacity: 64MB-32GB

How big would the storage be ?

I don't need more than 4 GB.
Not planning to use these. Smiley

yeah they have tons of nice cool and cheap products...   like money clips as exemple :

I'll take two if this ever goes through. Grin

Haha, not sure if it's going to.

I think they'll be around 2$ a piece. Smiley
For 2 dollars each I would take 10

This seller's rate says $0.99-$5, but when you place an order, the rate for 1 is $5.

https://www.alibaba.com/product-detail/buy-wholesale-pen-drive-bitcoin-miner_60538978116.html

I'll try contacting them.

Put me down for two as well  Grin  Just need a few more folks to join in  Cheesy

Awesome!
I'll PM you if we do place an order. Smiley
