Wow, this is definitely a very rare coin, most of the 6-7 in existence are with some pretty serious collectors and I don't expect they will pop up anytime soon. I know mine won't!  Grin

Best of luck with sale djjacket!

I was interested in the prior sale and was willing to go above 4 BTC for it....but I price the numismatic value in USD....and this is 100% cool but no BTC...so my offer would be under 1 BTC at the current price...  let me know if you want me to make an offer.  I suspect it is a lot less than you want and probably not worth discussing.

Feel free to send me a pm with an offer - I have gotten a few requests/offers already.

That's a nice piece, should sell for a good price. I guess it's unfunded so it's mainly the rarity of the coin that will gather interest.

Yes, that is correct it is unfunded.  It is another piece of rare early crypto coin history pieces from the "original" coin maker Smiley

I had purchased that void coin from Eodguy149.  Though my trust mentions paying 5.5BTC, I think I paid closer to 4.5BTC.

There are estimated to be around 12 made and of those maybe 5-7 still exist?

Thanks for the info and price disclosure - I was guessing the price was around that range, but didn't see any posts disclosing the price.
I forgot to look it up in the book to see if it was listed and was just going by memory...   Grin

I also updated OP with some Pics.

I had purchased that void coin from Eodguy149.

There are estimated to be around 12 made and of those maybe 5-7 still exist?  One could argue these are the 3rd rarest Casascius coin after the funded 1000BTC gold coins (around 5-8 made) and the Double Error Casascius 1 BTC (around 5 made)

After that you would have the Casascius Series 2 0.5 Silver (45 made), then the Unfunded 2FA gold coins ( 50 made - the ones coblee has)

Some info from the Encyclopedia.

Hit me up if you are interested.  I can get some pictures if there is interest too Smiley

Any ballpark figure in your mind for what you'd like to get for this?

That takes all the fun out of it though!

It doesn't look like Eodguy149's sale linked above disclosed a sale price although he was asking 5.1 as a starting auction price.
He and I chatted a little about our research into these coins back in 2015 and both agreed that, based on both of our research, there probably only 10-12 of these things in existence.

I have a rare collectible Casascius item that I wanted to gauge interest from the market.
I have one of the Casascius VOID coins that I might be willing to sell.
It is currently ungraded and I obtained the coin from the media individual that received it from Mike.

Here is reference to the coin - https://casascius.wordpress.com/2013/05/19/casascius-coin-production-featured-in-the-rise-and-rise-of-bitcoin/

and some discussions on here - https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/wts-possibly-casascius-void-coin-1219030

last public sale that I know of - https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/sold-casascius-void-coin-1280372

Hit me up if you are interested.  I can get some pictures if there is interest too Smiley

Edit:  Fished the coin from storage - Here are some pics:
