1. When and why did you become interested in cryptocurrencies?
It's been quite a while. I registered in 2015, but it was around 2016 when I fully understood Bitcoin and the crypto market as a whole. Altcoins were also getting popular at that time, so that's where I started to focus more.
2. When and why did you buy your first bitcoin?
In 2015, I started buying Bitcoin, but most of it I used for gambling. It's a bit of a regret that I didn’t hold onto a lot, could’ve probably retired early by now. But anyway, I’m still in the crypto space, and I’m sure there’s still a chance ahead.
3. How did you get on the forum?
Honestly, I just learned through research, but I got the wrong idea at first. They told me you could earn easily through campaigns. Unfortunately, I ended up being part of those who didn’t post well in the past, there were a lot of spammers back then. But I learned from it. I just had a rough start.
4.1. How do you consider whether 2-3 years of experience in cryptocurrency is enough to successfully invest or does an investor need to receive special education?
Yes, to invest, even 1 year is enough as long as you have time to study and, of course, learn from experience. It’s not that hard to learn since the resources are online and free.
4.2. What prevents mass adoption of cryptocurrencies?
The public has a bad perception of crypto, often associating it with scams. It’s likely due to a lack of education, and the government really needs to step in and help with raising awareness and understanding.
4.3. What is the situation with cryptocurrencies in your country? Are there any problems when exchanging for fiat? Which city or place in your country is best suited for cryptocurrency holders?
Our country now has a uniform stance on crypto, and it’s stricter compared to before. But I guess that’s good news since it helps reduce scams, as many scammers really use crypto. With proper education, we can minimize these scams.
4.4. Are you using the Lightning network? If yes, for what purposes?
I heard but I haven't use it yet.
4.5. Which secure cryptocurrency wallets are you currently using?
electrum now, and also sometimes trustwallet and exodus.
4.6. Does the huge amount of betting and gambling advertising hurt the forum?
Nope, because they're one of the reasons we have so many active members in the forum, signature campaigns. People wouldn’t stay active if they weren’t getting paid, and that’s just the reality for most of us.
5. What do you think of the current Merit system and signature campaigns? Do they harm the forum?
Nope, merit system is a god sent, it was introduce to reduce spam in the forum and it did.
6. The most useful forum topic? Most helpful users?
There are tons of useful topics, too many to name, but these two come to mind: LoyceV and e_o_l_o_e. They’re solid contributors to the forum, almost like robots with how good they are.
7. 3 things you would implement on the forum?
The forum is perfect, maybe more mods to clean more spams.
8. Do you trade on exchanges or invest in projects?
Both have their advantages. Investing is less stressful, while trading requires controlling your emotions. Trading can provide consistent income if you're profitable, while investing is more for the long term.
9. Tell a story about your big profit or big loss?
Big profit was way back 2017, most of my investments pump, and my earning in bounties are good.
10. What do you think about the DEFI ecosystem?
I'm not too interested in it right now, but who knows, maybe in the future.
11. Is your anonymity a vital necessity or precaution?
It's a vital necessity because that's the main purpose of Bitcoin or crypto. If that aspect disappears, it feels like we won’t fully enjoy the benefits of holding or investing in crypto.
12. The last cryptocurrency book you read?
Not fan or reading books, but watching videos, I'm always in.
13. Advise 3 cryptocurrencies/tokens for investment in the next 1-2 years?
not suggesting altcoins for now, just focus on bitcoin, make your life simple and easy.
14. How much will Bitcoin cost at the end of 2024?
$100k I guess.
