Hi everyone!

I was figuring since ASICS are coming up, I should probably join the Bitcoin mining as long as my FirePro cards are still worth anything ;-)

Absolute newbie here, even though quite technically inclined. Mostly hardware, though.

I am running cgminer/stratum with:
3x FirePro W7000
1x FirePro W5000
1x FirePro 4800

and get around 1.3Gh/s.

Enjoy everyone Smiley

I'm Atix. I started mining bitcoins in 2011, but my pc was too slow. Now it is still too slow but I'm interrested in maybe investing in a rig or in bitcoins.

Hi all!

I have been browsing and reading the forums for some months now. I've a Avalon batch #2 order which I hope to receive in the near future!

I've got 1 question for which I can't find an answer on this forum or your favorite search engine: How much bandwidth does an Avalon consume? The fastest connection over here is max 800KB/s, which is also used for browsing the web and torrenting (limited bandwidth ofcourse;)).

oh hi there.  Started mining in 2011, burned out a GPU, said F it after the first crash.  Been following and my confidence has been renewed by the resiliency and increased adoption.  I'm back on the bandwagon and here to stay.  I'm a big-time libertarian, so I'm glad to see the BTC concept has legs.  I hope the impending bubble burst doesn't cause a problem, but given the prior bounce-back I think bitcoin will continue to see adoption in the long-term.

I'm SystemDisc. I'm relatively new to the Bitcoin community, but I've already made some trades. I have a background in software development which has been helping me understand a lot about Bitcoins and crypto-currency in general. I mainly joined this forum to attempt to be of help to other members and to get involved in the community.

Hey everyone,

My name is Kaleb and I've been trolling this forum for a few months now so I decided to finally make an account. I've been following bitcoins for the past year and a half but haven't really gotten serious about it until very recently. My roommate and I are game programmers for two different companies so we're looking into creating a bitcoin casino that is far more aesthetically pleasing and gamified than anything we've seen created so far.

So if you want to talk programming, video games, bitcoins, guitar, the stock market, or almost anything else I'm always up for a good discussion.

I'm also more than willing to help anyone if they have any questions pertaining to the aforementioned skill sets, so never be scared to ask.

 Hello y'all !
I'm an old fart that got to play with the first PC, back in the day. A Datapoint 2200. We got to see a naked ascii lady if we won at tic-tac-toe. As a kid, I was hooked on computers. LOL
I'm here to learn from you kids, funny as that sounds.  Wink
