I can't decide if this is the start of another bubble, or if the huge investors will just hold and there will be no significant dip.  What do you think?

I've working on bitcoin stuff since 2010, mostly hang around on irc and not the forums, but now seems a good time to join anyway, since btc is finally going somewhere.

Ps, MODERATORS/OWNERS , the waiting period is ok, however if you really want to keep spammers and trolls out then at least make sure the captcha isn't exactly the same sequence every time!

I'm a dumbass who thought $30 for 1 BTC was a bunch of lunacy back in 2011.

Now I'm looking to set up my HTPC to do some light mining while idle and find a way to get someone to take my fiat currency without charging outlandish fees, taking a week, or absconding with my money.

Advice?

New to the forum but not a total Bitcoin newbie. Though I'm always looking to learn more.  Grin  It should be fun to see how Bitcoin fares over the year especially considering the events happening in Cyprus and bankster greed worldwide.

Hi everyone, I'm new to this forum and bitcoin as well actually.  Bought $100 worth back when it was 140USD/BTC, hoping to day trade along the fluctuations.  Ha, that didn't really work out...I can't even keep up.  It's much more profitable to just hold lol
