Hi I'm Fab! Wink

please do so! and get a post Smiley
don't be so negative, the 5-post-4-hour-rule is there for a reason: to get rid of the trolls. NOT to piss newcomers off.

Hello.  Found Bitcoin about two and a half months ago and have been hooked ever since.  Sad to say I never took it seriously untill one day reading Wikipedia.  One thing I have been wondering, why is the hash of the public key used as the adress instead of just the ECDSA public key + checksum?  Is this just to make it shorter or for some other reason?

This is the most awsome thing I have ever seen in my entire life.  Grin

Hello,

I am tired of big banks abuse and exploitation, so I have decided to find out about virtual decentralized currencies. Let's see how this works...

Thanks
