Hi everyone, Coinster.info is a new search engine, the world's first specifically for crypto-currencies like Bitcoin.

Sure, I'll give it a try while I wait for my 4 hour Newbie restriction to get lifted and the Broncos game to start Tongue

That's a pretty good idea, I haven't yet found out too many places where I could easily advertise, even Google pushes my site behind some news sites doing articles about Bitcoin that are of no interest to anyone Tongue Plus it's kind of difficult to find local services that accept Bitcoin anyway.

Submitted my site, good luck with your venture and hope to find some good stuff over there in the near future!

Cool thanks Smiley

Your site  is added! Yeah, major search engines are going to limit what they show when it comes to Bitcoin related sites. Coinster will be a lot looser with restrictions and much easier to get found on.

We're just getting started but have big things planned. To Paul above, please be sure to add your site at Coinster using the following URL:

It only takes a second.

Coinster is dedicated to serving the crypto-community well. Please let us know of anything on your mind.

Thanks all!

I'm setting up a new service for the Bitcoin community. I'm quite excited about it. I think you'll all love it when it comes online, hopefully in Feb 2013.

The site is not ready yet, but it will come in some time here:

bitango.me

Maybe you'll be bitangoed?

Hi folks, I'm Paul, and I joined this site in order to advertise my new Bitcoin sports betting site, but since I'm being contained in the Newbies-section for now, I guess I'll start here. Maybe get a deeper understanding of the Bitcoin community in the process.

I'm a big sports fan, as you can guess, and very excited about the NHL season finally getting started next week. I've been messing around with Bitcoin for about 6 months now, and been working on my site for about a month. Still a lot of work to be done on the looks and the feel of the site, but the core functionality is there, betting works!

I'll do my advertising elsewhere, just a heads up that if you only have a few coins in your wallet, our minimum bets start at 0.001 BTC and there are a lot of good odds available for the weekend Smiley For example Falcao's hat trick tomorrow would net you back your investment 9.75 times... The url is http://www.blockbet.net and that's it for the advertising!

Glad to see such a vibrant community here, and I really hope that we can make Bitcoin the future of payments and money. Banks are so last millenium, right?

Nice to meet you all, have a great year 2013 despite the unlucky number! Wink

Patrick here... Hello!
Been involved with bitcoins for awhile now... a little longer than the demise of Tradehill.com .
Been around long enough to be "scammed" a few times...
Been around long enough to accidently send 12 BTC to the wrong address...

I think I am ready to be un-noobed... I have some sage advice to give...
I have failed at mining ( my computer is way to slow ) but I have found other things to do...

I am interested in using bitcoin for charity work and am looking for ways to have complete transparency so people don't think what I am trying to do is scammy....

Anyhoo

Aloha, Patrick

Hi there, i'm Nomad from Ukraine.
It's pretty cold here in winter, so I decided to replace my electric heating with some GPUs mining bitcoins, hehe.

Hi, my name is Lars. I've followed bitcoins for aprox. a year, but the last week I've been really into it and researched it. With a background as a computer programmer, this will be extremely exciting. Can't wait to make awesome applications (they are under construction).

Hello, I am Ivan, a PhD student at UI-Chicago in computer science working in data mining of large networks. I have developed a set of data tools that I'd like to release in the main forums and also discuss with others about studying the properties of the bitcoin network and exchanges.

Right now I've been interested in the theft/scam events thread and would like to collect more transaction keys related to thefts. Second, I have some address groupings which belong to a single user (i.e. maybe a thousand pubkeys for Mt. Gox). I'd be very interested in labeling some of these (high value users) as miners, exchanges, or some other category.

Hello all, I have been interested in Bitcoin for over a year, but recently just put some money in and hope to explore the different possiblities with this unique currency. I found this forum through links from other websites and it seems it is one of the major hubs of social activity in the Bitcoin world. I'm always interested in new business and investment opportunities and hope to become more involved in various aspects of the Bitcoin economy. Feel free to PM if you'd like to talk shop or bounce business ideas off each other. I look forward to meeting new people and forging new relationships, business and personal, in this community.
