I've been using bitcoins for commerce for a about 6 months now, and have made a decent amount of trades on Mt Gox. I am intrigued by the possibilities of this digital currency. I am currently in the process of developing a new fixed rate exchange that will be simple to use, eliminate the need for third party payments, and offer complete anonymity for BTC / USD transactions. More info to come!

Hi folks,  I am fairly new to the whole idea of bitcoins.  I was working on some hardware FPGA's, and came across some news items regarding FPGA's being used for bitcoins a few months ago.  I didn't have much time when the article came out, but now I have some more time to look into the whole concept.  I recently decided to spend more time investigating the protocols, clients, servers & economy created out of one persons' idea of an ideal currency.  I wanted to understand how it works and also try to predict the future direction.  The lack of a central authority is interesting, however, when money is involved, the state, courts & police have their roles to play, which seems to be missing - and I have am excited to find out what concept will take their place in the real world bitcoin community.

I can't believe that it took me so long to become aware of bitcoin but now I'm really excited about it.  One of the first things I searched for was someones link to get a 10% lifetime discount on CampBX commissions.  Thank you nmat for posting yours. Would it be considered spam to post mine here and later when I qualify to put links in my signature to put my discount link there?  Thanks.

Hi all,

New to mining, mining bitcoins on my 7970 and litecoins on anything I can get access to.  Ordered a jalapeno though I doubt I'll see it for months (...maybe years?).  Also been trawling the forums for ages, so figured I ought to register.
