Pretty new around here, not new to the whole Bitcoin area, but I've been a lurker. I recently started a mining pool of my own, which I've spent some time and and I'm sure a lot more time will need to come in the very near future! I'm awaiting my Jalapeno if it does well, I might just order another since my personal budget isn't that high.  Will be adding those to my current pool and hope I get some people who would like to join Random Draw's pool! If you're looking for a new pool, please check us out!  http://www.RandomDraw.org/ Cheers!

More from the non-spam trivia-fun-facts-section of my not-so heroic first moments in this forum (you made me do it): Did you know that the single most damaging organism to the earth's atmosphere within the last 100 years was called Thomas Midgley, Jr. ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thomas_Midgley,_Jr.)?  Not only did he invent and promote the use of Tetraethyl-Lead as an octane booster for "leaded" fuel, he also invented freon, which is still responsible for the destruction of the ozone layer and will be until 2100. He died after entangling and strangulating himself in a rope-based device that was supposed to help him move about, since he was disabled after conducting polio some years before his death in 1944 (age 55). He was a celebrated and much respected chemist at his time, since the malevolent side-effects of his inventions were only discovered decades after his death.

My name is Craig and I work for an NGO in child safety services. I've been watching the forum for about three weeks and finally decided to join it. I'm very interested to see the development of Bitcoins and related communities.  NGO = Government funded?  Can you Aussies not make sure your children are safe without NGO's? If so...**moocher**  **cough **. Just kidding, welcome aboard, start mining or hashing for the cause asap. Yes NGO = Non-Government Organisation  We are funded to care for children that have been relinquished by there parents due to extreme needs.  Thanks for the welcome  "Are there no prisons?  Are there no workhouses?" Erm..... What are you asking?

Hi!  I've been on the fence for far too long when it comes to cryptocurrencies, but I've finally gotten my butt in gear now and started mining some Litecoins on my 6870 today.

Hello all. I've been following Bitcoin since early 2011. After it crashed that summer I lost track of it for a while, but have been back with a passion for a few months now. I certainly think it has promise. I'm an illustrator and animator by trade and would love to work on some bitcoin-backed projects.
