I am your father. But no really, I'm just in this for the fun of it, I have a semi-decent system so I figured why not, and it's all interesting to me, and I'd love to learn more and hopefully be able to get better in the future. Mainly just looking for tips on maximum efficiency on my card.

Hi.  I heard a show about bitcoins on the radio one morning on the way to work.  When I got home, I installed the software and collected .25 BTC over time.  Now I'm here to learn more because it stopped working.  I get an error that says there not enough space. not sure what that means since there's at least 80GB left on this thing.  off to read.  see you around

Hello there everyone.  I've been lurking here for the last few days so figured now is as good of time as any to sign up and start posting since I've enjoyed reading everything so much.  I just started mining as basically a hobby a few days ago, and I think I am hooked.  I'm just about to hit my first full BTC yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!! haha.

Riko here I just learned about bitcoins yesterday and I'm quite intrigued. I've already started mining (though only at 30 mhash/s) and am hoping to learn more about this "money"

Ha Ha, you are right.

I upped the 5% to 10% and couldn't decide where to subtract the other 5% and forgot to edit.

55% -Because Bitcoins is a great way to stick it to the Federal Reserve and other centralized banking schemes that use the force of government to protect their monopoly on the counterfeiting of money.  We want to participate in our small way to support alternative decentralized currencies.

40% -The Bitcoin community seems like a great place to offer our goods and services, as well as purchase the goods and services of others. In order for a currency to be successful it needs to be able to be exchanged for commodities.  We don’t mine Bitcoin, but we do create other commodities…so hopefully this is a win-win for us all.

10% -The newness and novelty of Bitcoin sounds like a fun adventure to be involved in to see where it goes and what happens.

Something doesn't quite add up ...  Huh
Have you considered that some people may be a member of more than one group?

Hello all,

I am finally getting around incorporating Bitcoins into our business.  Wanted to for a while, but am not too tech savvy and have been putting it off.  Hopefully by the end of this week, we will be up and running.  Check out my post in the “BitCoin Businesses and Developers, Lets Get Started!” section for more details

Why are we interested in Bitcoins?

55 52.5% -Because Bitcoins is a great way to stick it to the Federal Reserve and other centralized banking schemes that use the force of government to protect their monopoly on the counterfeiting of money.  We want to participate in our small way to support alternative decentralized currencies.

40 37.5% -The Bitcoin community seems like a great place to offer our goods and services, as well as purchase the goods and services of others.

I’ve been lurking for a long time on Bitcointalk and want to thank all those that have put this forum together and everyone that is sharing their knowledge.

EDIT: thanks for the help with my math. Roll Eyes
