My video cards are weak, but I think that bitcoin is very interesting, and I want to participate. I do not expect to make money from this.

Buy some them Smiley

Hi David here, and I am based in Australia. I have been looking, reading and thinking about bc for about a week now. Mining in a pool for a few days and still have a few questions. I need to search a bit more yet but I may start asking soon. I am interested in bc's future as a real goods and services exchange medium.

Just got started last week with bitcoin and I'm hooked.  Have a homebuilt machine with a pair of Sapphire Radeon 6870's churning out hashes.  Right now they're each connected to a remote pool, but I'm looking to do my own (of course!).  Have XenlandMiningPool 99% installed on an Amazon AWS VM but am having trouble with one of the cron jobs.

Not sure what it takes to get access to post to the rest of the board. Sad

Hello, aspiring miner from the USA here.  I've been using Tor for over a year now, but only recently stumbled across this underground currency market (which I find incredibly fascinating, btw).  Looking forward to (hopefully) making a big dent in a Bitcoin block!

Wow, only another 49 posts in n00bland till I graduate - is the definition of a troll someone who piffle paffles for piffle paffle's sake or who tittle tattles to cause a hurdy gurdy?  Kiss

Woohoooooo I just set up my Bitcoin mining pool on EC2 Cheesy.

As I am from Holland it will probably focused on the NL miners out there!

Holla,

I've known about bit coin for a while but its really caught my eye recently especially because of the rise in price and the increased popularity. I'm planning on being very active in the bit coin community. I already have plans to set up an online store that will accept Bit Coin by next week. Keep an eye out for it

Hello everyone,
I read about bitcoin a week ago and now want to experience the mining of bitcoin.
I installed Bitcoin version 0.3.22-beta on my PC but when I click on 'settings' I only get 2 options: 'your receiving address...' and 'Options'.

I don't see the option for generating bitcoins as I have seen on a youtube tutorial.

Please let me know if I missed a step in the installation or if the option for generating bitcoin is hidden elsewhere.

Many thanks.
